The day was hot. The air was arid and stifling. Marko hated every blasted second of it. Strange thoughts for a Jedi, yes. However, at least the hate was well founded. Standing on one a few hillocks in the wasteland that was the outskirts of the Bassandroan wilds was a mountain of a man, freakishly ...
Re: Open Terrain
On this forsaken wasteland of a planet, in this blue-tinged plain out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a dry, stale wind and the smell of ozone from repeated lightning strikes of the unnatural storm perpetually swirling overhead, stood a single man in rusty brown clothing. The garments were ...
Re: Open Terrain
The screaming stopped, because inside the mind that belonged to Marko, the clouds of hate and fear compiled into one massive thought. Initially, this thought was without a precise form, but it soon crafted itself into a sharp spear which was aimed solely at the core of the emotions used to create i...
Re: Books
So. Finally got around to reading Apocalypse. Let's roll off a list here: 1. The most touching scene in any Star Wars media ever was Bazel Warv's sacrifice at the secret Jedi Temple entrance. The whole Allana dynamic and her kick-butt skills at age Nine tied it all together. 2. Seeing part of the Cl...
Re: Cartann City
To Conclude the Chronicles of Avei's Lifetime: Aged eyes smiled with an energy not entirely of the mortal form possessing them. It was the eternal flow of the Force that one could see by peering dutifully into the eyes of the nearly century-old Togruta. It was a funny phenomenon, really, to see...
Re: Cartann City
"I did find my way to Coruscant, and under Vader's nose directly to the Emperor. I do suspect that had I found Vader instead, or even met the Emperor while Vader was nearby, that I would have been killed by the Dark Lord, Anakin Skywalker. The Force was, ironically, with me that time. Anyw...

Re: Battle of the BAMFS....and Xeo
God thought of everyone. Ever heard a woman scream, "I brought you into this world, and I can sho' take you out again!"
Well rightfully, that's God's line.
And Freeman, despite being awesome, did not create everything he narrates about on "Through the Wormhole." God did.

Re: Single Greatest Character in Star Wars Canon
Out of the available choices, I say Han. While Luke is some epic kick-ass who has saved the galaxy numerous times in various ways and always has his hand in almost everything. Han follows along, takes names, and he does it all with style. But I obviously would pick Wedge Antilles. As the X-Wing saga...

Re: [SPOILERS!!!] Which Avatar series is your favourite?
I enjoyed reading above comments and laughing when Nyyrikki says: the whole next book is going to be her regaining her bending. Given the finale, and the whole tilt of the Korra saga so far, this series was meant to cater solely to the classic fans. With all the original characters having some impac...
Re: Cartann City
"From the very time of my birth I was to be closely associated with the Force. Indeed, both of my parents were Sith Sorcerors of the highest degree. They were hidden away on the dark planet Vjun for centuries, using the sheer power of their sorcery to sustain themselves. The Jedi never found t...
Re: Open Terrain
A single repulsorlift enabled craft flew across the grassy knolls of Zolan's northern hemispheric terrain. It was flying in low enough that the long, waving reeds were disturbed by the repulsors as the craft was whisked forward. It was a boxy machine; with wings arranged in a pair near the ster...
Re: Cartann City
To Conclude the Chronicles of Avei's Lifetime: It was later that day, with the sun halfway fallen in the western sky. The shadows were elongating considerably now, and it would not be long before night fell upon the city of Adumar. Taking in the beauty of the scenery of a glimmering cityscape w...
Re: Cartann City
Avei blinked once, clearing his throat at the same time. Without much thought to it, he used the Force to rise from the carpeted floor, and then when he was floating in his cross-legged position, he stretched his legs out beneath him and assumed a standing position. He prompted Ray to do likewise. ...

I hope to continue RPing my private storyline in Cartann. Just saying. I won't interfere....I promise.

Re: Cartann City
And so Avei and Ray proceeded through the city, scaling rooftops, showing off with Force-augmented acrobatics to locals watching from balconies and the like. The story the Togruta possessed continued. He spoke of his time as a simple man, working in tandem with the crafty gentlman Count Arcturus So...

Re: Star Wars Episode VII
Yeah...uh....the only thing that ruined everything for me....
Was that the established canon just got wrecked. Which is why, since that particular announcement, I've been rereading every single Star Wars novel I can get my hands on.
Just so I can remember what really is supposed to happen.

The Mongolian Empire: "The Chinese built the Great Wall to keep Genghis Khan from invading. So, when faced with the impossible task of mounting the wall, Khan chose the only sensible option, he went around it." I love that documentary, oh so much. But we must recall: before the British wer...
Re: Cartann City
Jedi Academy, Location Adumar. Archive Log: The Sith were coming. No, actually, the Sith were here. The dark, jagged craft that descended from the sky may have been reminiscent of Kaut Drive Yards craft and Corellian Engineering Corporation vehicles, but they were definitely not being piloted by be...
