I just mean if she flew over him Adrien would keep running...unless the blast threw him backwards as well...which makes more sense...or she flew into him and he broke her fall...which would be pretty funny lol.

I'm not sure that a genetic hatred is possible, a cultural one would be more likely, for example during the Civil Rights Movement in the United States there was a cultural hatred between races.
