Welcome to the galaxy├óÔé¼Ôäós primary media outlet. As employees at this prestigious news network, you will quickly become some of the most recognizable faces in the civilized galaxy. Through interviews and other time-honored investigative reporting techniques, you will be responsible for making weekly contributions to the Holo News topics from your field of expertise.

The publication will be released to the public every Saturday, and you must therefore present your article to the editor on the preceeding Thursday, giving the editor 48 hours in which to edit, fact-check and format for publication.

During the week while the reporters are researching their articles, the editor will be scouring the galaxy for news-worthy issues to task you with investigating and reporting on for the weekly publication.

Each reporter will be given an unlimited travel allowance, as well as a weekly credit balance to cover expenses and to pay informants. After consulting with your editor and agreeing on your topic for the week, you will be responsible for setting up interviews, probing informants, and if necessary, travelling to the news-source to observe and investigate.

All facts written for the HNN publication must be validated by your editor, which means that everything you write must have an unbroken papertrail that can be checked by anyone who knows where to look. In this regard, full transcripts of all interviews and informant conversations must be submitted to the editor along with your article on Thursday. Those articles that do not have a verifiable papertrail will not make it to print.

The Holo News Network├óÔé¼Ôäós weekly publication will be presented in seven sections:

1. CONFLICTS
This section will contain articles that cover the various warzones, skirmishes and battles that have become a regular part of life here in the galaxy.

2. BUSINESS AND TRADE
This section will contain articles outlining the economic state of the galaxy, from major trade contracts to production reports from major manufacturers.

3. POLITICS
This section will contain articles pertaining to galactic leaders, laws, treaties, law enforcement, and any other pertinent political information.

4. SPORTS
In this section, all the major sporting events of the galaxy will be reported on by our team of able sports writers.

5. OBITUARIES AND BIOGRAPHIES
In this section, there will be a weekly biography written on a major player in galactic events, randomly selected by the editor. Should there be a major death in the galaxy, the biography of the deceased will always take precedent.

6. LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
This section is where readers may voice their opinions. These letters must be approved by the editor before publication.

7. CLASSIFIEDS
This section is where businesses and individuals may post their advertisements, free of charge. There is a 20 word maximum per ad.

The final format of the publication will be determined by the editor, but in each publication, the best written or most interesting topic of the week will be chosen as the headline story. This is your chance, as reporters, to really shine.
