The Sands of Time

*They exited the hut.*

So... clone lad...

*The duo made it past the barrier that Danny had put in place to block dark powers. The second Diva walked thru, there was a "popping" noise, and it looked like the air around her was being sucking into a vacuum. Zex was pushed around by it only a litte, for it felt like a gust.*

I'm on my own, as always. There is really nothing worth having faith for. Nothing but darkness.

*She starts fading, her image becoming more distorted in the air.*

Nothing...

*She disappears.*

*While the voice sounded icy and malice lined as usual... It did not posess it playful quality this time.*

*Danny laughs as she leaves, and calls Shadow back out, to bring him a cup of tea.*

*Danny sits among a circle of stones, and meditates. After an hour or it, he is engulfes in blue flames and dissappears.*

*Some power of the sands seemed to be drawn out in the living world*

*out of the heat tara appears, her tears evaporate before they fall from her cheeks. the flowers that had lay on her body are cradled in her arm. she looks around. her eyes dead*

W-why.... Andy....... w-why?

*Tara falls to her knees, dropping the flowers, she coughs and looks around, a mirage of bane stands before her and she sobs, holding her hand out to him*
w-why andy......
*she falls, laying on her stomach, out of breath in the heat*

*after what seems like an eternity, Tara sits up and wipes at her eyes, looking for some shade in the endless sun, for one sip of water to touch her parched lips...... here she is formless so to speak, not so much a twil'lik, but not really anything else either. her body is solid here, but she cannot remember what she is. she looks around, knowing that the only relief she would get here was forever and a day away. Tara starts to cry, thinking about bane. What was he doing right now? what would posess him to kill her after he told her he loved her? Did she annoy him that much?*

w-why a-andy?........ w-why?.........

*she picks up the flowers and cradles them in the crook of her arm and stands, then continues to wander, with slow, agonizing steps*

*out in the heat she looks ahead without seeing, her eyes dead, her expression lacking emotion. all she can see is the evil smile that bane had worn when he crushed her. she continues to walk, never getting relief. after what seems like forever she sees an outcropping of rock sticking out of the sand, she slowly walks towards them and sits in the little shade they provide. wishing for the freezing night to come*

*Bane was walking in the sands of time, the heat baring down on him like a roaring flame, he only kept walking, his left arm was resting on the hilt of his blade, his right hand was hanging lazily to the side, this place was unbarable, but he had to keep walking, finding Tara was all he wanted at the moment.

after a few hours, Bane was in front of the very rocks tara was under, he fell back on his choobies and laid back and closed his eyes, sand was gently brushing over the wounds he received earlier, he grunted a bit, his eyes closed, he didn't even notice Tara there beside him at the moment, he to existed to look beside him, every so often he kept saying "Tara......where are you"

*he actually sat on the opposite side of the rock. and Tara, thinking it was just her imagination due to the heat, ignores his voice. After a while, she sighs and gets up, and begins to walk again. walking right past him. not seeing him*
w-why a-andy....... w-why?.........................................
*tears continue to flow and evaporate*

*Bane looked at Tara as she passed, he drudged himself up and jogged over to her, a big smile plastered on his face at the sight of her*

tara! finnaly found you, I thought I would be searching forever in this......place?

*she slowly turns her head to look at him. almost ninety-nine percent sure it was just a mirage. she just stares blankly at him, then turns her head and continues walking. her tears continue to evaporate*
Why andy........... why did you kill me?.............

*Bane's face suddenly almost went ghost white, he had forgotten the way she was killed, the way she was forced to think it was him, Bane seemed a bit taken aback still*

T......Tara......I swear...I would never do that to you.....to us

*she swings at bane with the flowers, hitting him square on the right side of the head with the blooms*
go AWAY YOU STUPID MIRAGE!!! WHY MUST YOU TORMENT ME!?!?!
*she turns back and falls to her knees, sobbing*
you stupid mirage...... making me think he's actually here, apollogizing........... don't get me wrong...... i want that.......... but....... he's too busy for me.... always to busy........ he won't come....... that's why he killed me...... cause i was a nuisance....... a bother.................................
*after a minute she stands back up and keeps walking*

*Bane stood there, listening to everything she said, his eyes were wide,he had that feeling again, like he had just been slashed in the throat, maybe that was why he was at a loss for words, well, all except for*

T..........Tara.....I....

*Bane followed after her, kind of in a zombie like walk, he stll couldn't believe what he was hearing*

Tara........im here......im real....

*she grumbles*
and still it follows me... what? what? do you want me to dance like a krayt dragon!?! what do you WANT!?!
*she turns on bane again and goes to punch him, feeling her fist actually collide with his shoulder snaps her out of it, she falls back wards and continues to scuttle away*
wh-what!?! what's going on!? i don't understand!?!

*Bane scratched the back of his head in a coy manner*

*she shakes her head and continues to scoot away*
you killed me........... why andy? why would you do that? you said you loved me........
*she starts to cry again, wiping at her tears*

*he went over toward her, but stopped, he realized he was only scaring her more*

Tara.....listen....I don't know how I can make you believe me....I don't know how I can make you understand, it wasn't me, it was a fake, a cheap copy, you know I would never do that to you, I do love you....

*she stares at him*
