Especially when Capital ships cannot?

Let alone house generators capable of firing even one shot and still keep the bird in the air?

turbo laser is a general term for a ships laser armaments. Instead of saying laser cannon i just said turbo laser. Sense it is such a problem i will make sure to put "fired lasers from laser cannons".

Stream - to move or proceed continuously like a flowing stream, as a procession. (Dictionary.com)

"Stream" was used as a descriptive word to show the steady amount of fire coming from the fighters

Anything else Tomax? because i am sure there will be sense you can't go a single post without having a problem

Wait, what?
I thought you had god-moded fighter ships that had turbolasers on them.
Thats why I called it out publicly instead of trying to talk sense into you via pm.
Cause people that make that kind of stuff just don't want to understand.

But you really thought turbo-lasers was the common term for lasers? O.o

Have you even watched star wars?

If it's as simple as english not being your first language then I understand. Completely. I have had many a friends on here and wondered why some errors were in their writing and they explained and it was 'hunky dory'. No big. At all. I helped them out. Everything was cool.

But if you made a mistake, and it turned out to be a big one, and now you are telling me 'I' am wrong, then get off your horse, mister, and either write better, or stop trying to kill our guys. Cause we'll write circles around you, especially if you won't admit to a mistake such as that.

I am no GSTC but I believe a science lesson... or at very least a REALISM lesson is in order.

You know how you can see airplanes at about 200 feet right when they are taking off? Still high enough for you to see the color scheme? Good because that is about the height of my SV50 Cruiser which is sveral hundred times bigger than your average airplane.

Now that we have established the distance, which I had believed was apparent, now we can establish it's size, which I thought was apparent. This thing is blocking out the sun, casting an opressive shadow over your defenses and raining burning hell on you with turbolasers the size of Seven Fifty Sevens (big air planes) Now one would assume that firing these guns on unshielded and unarmored urban targets would have a DEVESTATING effect on the surrounding area... Devestating as in destroying a whole neighborhood and leaving a smoking crater... I'm talking about massive explosions with shockwaves knocking over your buildings hundreds of feet away from the point of impact.

These are massive canons used to defeat equally massive ships... Using them on your Demons which are about 1/100th the size of my ship and just big enough to fit in the barrel of my turbolasers would make a might fine piece of debris int he firestorm engulfing your city from over 50 Turbolasers (HEAVY TURBOLASERS) firing straight down on you.

I have not even mentioned th missiles which are the equivelent of miniature nukes... enough to probably knock out half your daamn city. Now I'd like you all to go back, do some research, apply a little comon sense, perhaps a dash of realism and explosions and destruction to this scenario and come back with a post that involves the general area of those "hidden" attackers (missile silos, snipers, mecha war beasts) were hiding in being a god damn crater with no survivors

You realise debris & smoke from a nuclear blast goes miles up into the sky?

You're firing Sithspit a 'couple of hundred metres' above ground [b:s3ho9wf0][u:s3ho9wf0]repeatedly.[/u:s3ho9wf0][/b:s3ho9wf0] Your under-shields would be taking an utter battering from debris from said city(s) you're annihilating.

How about take that for realism biatch ;)

Okay, my bombers are here to play havoc with your capital ships! :)

Thrakk, your ships are unfortunately the first ones to taste their wrath, and are going to be in a pretty bad way. Just to clarify, theyre dropping proton bombs, not proton torpedoes, they have a much much larger damage than proton torps.

Those bombers are designed to whack enemy capital ships, so theyre mighty effective at what they do.

As for detecting them, there isnt really a lot you can do in space. In atmosphere theres a way or two, but in space, essentially youre trying to detect emptiness in a sea of emptiness.
