Re: The Miner's Mug

*Glade was not expecting how quickly Furian could move and suffered for his lack of cautious as Furian's body whipped around reaching for his throat. Glade brought his hand currently in mid punch down too barely push Furian's hand away from his throat, but didn't have enough time to react to the hand grabbing onto his wrist. The Firrerreo suddenly felt a shock of pain slam into his knee as Furian's foot smashed into his right leg.

Glade's battle instincts kicked in from the pain, as adrenaline pumped into his system. His eyes closed and his face displayed struggle as his muscles tightened. Glade used the momentum of the kick to spin, twisting his left arm, angling the side of his wrist towards the weakest point of Furians grip, where the thumb and fingers met. As he broke free, Glade rolled away from the Sith and slammed into some chairs at the nearby table. He stood up in a hurry tossing one of the chairs out of his way.*

*Glade stared at Furian, he knew that Furian was faster and better trained. He was a Sith Lord, but Glade also knew that this fight was for more than simple pride. It was for a code that would continue his training and his only chance to meet the person who could give him real power. The Firrerreo kept his eyes glued on the face of Furian, hoping to anticipate any movement that the Sith would try. Glade's gaze picked up on the slight smilie on Furian's face as he spoke.*

I guess you know why I am here then....

*Glade ran forward towards Furian, grabbing a nearby chair with his right hand, and placing his left hand on a table he threw the chair at Furian's lower half and then jumped pushing off with his left foot and using his hand to give him a greater height as he brought his right foot around aiming it for a horizontal kick to Furian's left temple.*

Re: The Miner's Mug

*The young Sith was quick to be able to intercept his strike to the throat, though not so much as his foot connected with his knee. The pain was evident in his face as he cringed, though his reactionary move was quick enough as he spun around, using leverage to free himself from Furian grip on his wrist and spun into a table and some chairs. The Firrerreo had caught on to his knowledge and responded in kind to which Furian merely nodded. He was quicker still to press his attack, a nearby chair soon flying at his lower half while Furian had noticed his hand placed on the table to give him aid in his acrobatics. It was something he would learn to do through the Force in time, though for the moment it showed a good ability to improvise and adapt tot he situation.*

*The chair flew in, though as Furian had time to react to it he merely let the Force settle into his body and his muscles as he sidestepped it to his right. The bar was to his rear and thus he was unable to easily or nimbly move backwards, leaving him only the option of direct counter attack. His mind scrolled through options before settling on a particularly fun one. As the chair smashed into the bar to Furian's left and the high kick flew incoming, Furian ducked underneath the incoming blow, rising like lightning just as it passed over head. Then reaching out with both hands, he moved to grab onto the leg at the ankle.

Grinning now, Furian began the footwork of spinning in his own right. Moving to do a full 360 and add to the momentum that the kick had already generated, Furian would swing the Firrerreo fully around then quickly release as he was almost in the same spot as he had started. The result being that he was flung viciously into the opposite wall, while Furian relished in the Force pumping through him.*

*He should have known this before, it was the perfect thing to clear him mind and let him keep focus. Battle was something that was pure and simple. After this he would be fresh and ready to tackle the problems the planet faced, though first he needed to attend to this young Sith's first trial.*

Re: The Miner's Mug

*Glade's right foot was rushing through the air aiming at Furian's head. He watched as Furian moved quickly side stepping the chair and was suddenly beneath his leg. Glade watched in almost slow motion as Furian grabbed hold of his leg and began the footwork to spin the Firrerreo.*

*Glade felt the pressure on his leg at Furian grabbed ahold of it. He felt the blood start to fill is his head as the force of his body being spun around began to grow. His sides felt as if they were strecthing from the force as he watched the bar fly underneath him. Suddenly the pressure on his legs was gone and he felt a new sensation of flying backwards over tables and chairs. He felt a shock against his back as he hit the wall and his vision went black.*

*Glade heard a whirrinng sound as a computer came back to life and his HUD rebooted. He opened his eyes and picked himself up off the floor, looking back at the wall where a large impression and several cracks now strecthed outward from where he hit.*

*Shaking off the dizzyness, Glade planned too use another tactic of distraction that he favored. As he walked back towards Furian he grabbed a half empty bottle off of one of the tables he was walking past. The Firrerreo locked his eyes onto Furian and tossed the bottle into the air, aiming it to land right in front of or slightly behind Furian. As soon as the bottle release from his fingers he broke into a run, reaching with his left hand into the right side of his robes withdrawing one of the several knives he carried. With a fluid motion he brought his left arm back out and threw it towards Furian's stomach, which was followed by his right hand reaching for another and flinging it towards Furian's legs, a split second later Glade jumped onto a chair that was to his right without breaking the stride of his run and jumped onto the table in front of it, then used the to launched himself into the air. When he had reached the peak of his height Glade reached for his last two blades and threw them with all his force towards Furian's chest. If all ended as planned, he would land two feet in front of where Furian was standing.*

Re: The Miner's Mug

*As he had flung his opponent to the far wall, he grinned as he hit and cracked into the solid foundation. As the man slumped down to the floor, he took the few moments to ready himself. He had no doubt that Lord Diux would recruit a potential so weak that would fail or quit after such a short exchange and thus he readied himself for his opponent's next move. By now most of the other patrons had either left or moved to the outer circle of the duel to watch and relish in combat between this newcomer and their appointed leader.

As the man slowly rose again, he took a second to gain his feet and Furian readied himself for the potential incoming barrage. As the bottle was grasped and tossed up, Furian had seen the tactic before, grinning as he knew exactly how to deal with the distraction. Letting his left hand rise as the bottle was floating in the air towards him, he enjoyed the feeling of the Force surge through his core and arm to expulse a Force Push at the man. The result being the blasting of the bottle, and by association the incoming knives back at his opponent as he was stepping up onto the table.*

Re: The Miner's Mug

*As Glade was stepping onto the table he grinnned, hidden beneath his helmet. His right foot pushed off the table which rocked under the force of holding his weight. "I got hi... aw Sithspit" The Firrerreo watched as Furian raised his arm and release the force coming from his body, sending the bottle and knives back at Glade. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as Glade watched the bottle fly past his head, then he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his left arm and right leg which was followed by the feeling of air leaving his lungs as he hit what felt like a brick wall. Glade was thrown backwards again, crashing to the ground and sliding into a couple of chairs.*

*Glade laid still, staring at the ceiling.*I can't lose. Not like this. Even if it kills me, I will get that code and contiue my training* Determination set in as Glade stood up, and fell to his knees. The pain surged through his right leg. He looked down to see a handle of his own knife protruding from his right leg about six inches above his knee. He reached down and grasped the handle with both hands and grimaced as he slid it from his leg. He dropped it to the ground and did the same with his left arm. The blades fell to the ground, landing with a metallic ring. Glade slowly got to his feet, putting his weight on his left leg he limped forwards towards Furian, using his right hand to hold his left shoulder trying to ease the pain. As Glade reached Furian he bowed as to admit defeat then mentally spoke to himself. *NOW* The Firrerreo surged forward aiming his already lowered head directly towards Furian's stomach, which would be followed up by a upper cut to the jaw hoping to take Furian completely by surprise.*

Re: The Miner's Mug

*As Furian watched the apprentice flip end over end, propelled backwards by the force of the Push, he let a smirk adorn his face. The trial of combat, making an apprentice fight a full Sith was already an unfair situation, though with the mental state that the apprentice was put in prior to, almost because of the trial, was what either made or break them. Furian knew this and he let it guide his actions, moving and fighting in a manner that both would assert his dominance over the young one, showing him how much still had to learn, as well as forcing him to either bottle up and repress his feelings and emotions, or letting them out to restrict or hinder his ability in combat. Furian could feel the apprentice's emotions growing and wondered if the point was coming soon, and also if he would use it as a blind rage or, or tactically.*

*As the apprentice hobbled to stand before him, Furian stood wondering what kind of angle he was playing at. He did not seem the type to bow before someone to admit defeat. No. He seemed more the type to fight to his last breath to gain strength. He was definitely playing at something, though emotions did not bely this, so he was either repressing them, or he was-

Furian felt the jab of the man's head just as he let the smirk grow wider. He had planned it out and let his mind prevail with a well planned attack. As the man then straightened up, Furian felt the short clip of his fist on the right side of his jaw as he had only been able to avoid some of the uppercut by leaning back instinctually. It had started now, and hopefully with the smell of blood, Furian would be able to have this apprentice ploughing forward to pursue the taste of victory.

Letting his body return to combat and spring into action, Furian stepped quick to his left, raising his right knee to shove it viciously into the apprentice's ribcage. Setting the foot back down, he let the movement start off his momentum as he spun into action, raising his left arm and closing the distance to slam his left elbow into the back of the man's head then sliding forward, possible cutting, as it followed through to finish near his right temple. Finishing off his combination, his hips returned back again to give him the momentum of the twist as he brought his right hand forward to launch hard into the man's right temple. Let's see how he reacts tot he counter attack, and the emotions that come with it.*
