Description: The second droid in the Heavy Assault line, the open terrain version moves noticably faster than it's urban counterpart at 70kph and carries more weapons at the same time. The OT-HAD was designed to aid regular ground troops in assaulting lines of fortifications that are heavily defended while at the same time providing moderate anti-air defense capabilities. The rail gun mounted on the back of the droid cna manuver up to 50 degrees in any direction so that the droid can target emplacements not immediately in front of it. The missile launcher carries 12 missiles immediatley behind the rail gun. While these missiles can be used offensively, their primary purpose is anti-air and anti-vehicle defense.
Also like the U-HAD, this droid is vulnerable to smaller units that it cannot target with either of its primary weapons systems. While six point defence lasers offer an increased level of protection against infantry the OT-HAD still requires an escort of friendly infantry units to be effectivly protected.
