*Lagartoz was growing, the various ugnaught clans had built homes and gotten the droid foundries started, and businesses had started opening up, Reyn had contracted others to build the actual city up, and it was coming along nicely.*

*Lagartoz actually looked like a city now, albeit a small one.*

*two hundred basilisks had been completed and sent to ordo*

*A lone Mando'ad wanders the streets of the capital stopping every now and then to wonder at the changes which had come over his homeworld since he last visited it a quarter-century earlier. He saw the remnants of old wars, and memorials to foreign occupiers, but somehow his vode had persevered, and the world was Mando'ade once more. He smiled, knowing that the warrior race of the Taung was alive and well.*

*As Virin made his way along the streets of the city, he looked about. His eyes shone now as the sun hit them, his face enjoying the warmth. His helmet off, sitting on the pilot seat of his ship, which was now docked in a hangar nearby, he enjoyed the feeling of the morning sun on his face. It had been a long time since he had felt the sun of his home world and he was happy to be back for the moment.

As he sat, he felt the short hair on his head, which would not quite be considered a crew cut, but close. Just longer than that, though still short enough to be easily manageable, he grinned as he looked out over the city, as he was on a slightly higher perch near the risen shuttle bays. Awaiting the arrival of his friend, Virin thought of her. He had not seen her in years and wondered if she had changed at all. Letting his mind wander off he then continued to gaze out over the city, remembering childhood memories and thinking of his old friend.*

*Romy removed her helmet as she walked alongside a friend, and fellow Mandalorian, through the city. As they walked, Romy spoke casually to the woman with her of her childhood friend they were walking to meet. The sun beat down, warming the city, and Romy paused, putting her helmet on the ground, to throw her long blonde hair into an untidy ponytail. As she picked it up, she continued walking toward the hangars, leading the way through the city she was born and raised in.

Romy continued through the hangars up toward the shuttle bays, where she was told to meet him. She signalled for the woman with her to follow her. As she peeked into different hangars, she recognized a ship and wondered if it was his. She walked toward the ship, smiling in excitement.*

Virin? Is that you?

*As Virin heard the familiar voice behind him, a grin once again found it├óÔé¼Ôäós way to cross his lips and he took a quick last glance at the city view as he then spun around to see two mandalorian women. The one with her helmet removed he recognized as his childhood friend, Romy, while the other one, of whom he could only see hair flowing from the helmet, he did not recognize. Smiling as he approached her, he opened his arms so hug her as he walked forward.*

Romy! It has been a long time. How have you been?

*As he would release from the hug, he then smiled to her, his blue and yellow eyes as piercing, yet subtle as always. Looking from her to the other woman, he smiled and nodded to her, half out of greeting to her, but also a silent and unspoken question to Romy, who would be able to tell what he was asking her. Who├óÔé¼Ôäós your friend?*

*Romy smiled as Virin made his face visible to her and she was sure it was really him. She saw him walking toward her, arms open, and returned the embrace tightly.*

Its been too long! I've been fine. Still in one piece - as are you, I can see. Very relieving. *She smiled, teasing him as she knew he was a huge fan of the fight.* Ah! I'm sorry! This is my friend, Zaiden.

*Romy nudged Zaiden, motioning for her to take her helmet off.*

*Following Romy into the hangar, Zaiden stayed close but quiet. As they approached the man who's name she was guessing was Virin she began thinking about when she left her home to come to Basilisk with Romy. It did not seem like very long ago but in the retrospect it very much was. Romy had become her family when she left her own when she was about 18 years old. With both of her parents being Mandalorians she had received her training at a very young age.*

*Realizing that the two of them were now talking about her, Zaiden removed her chrome and red helmet to expose her face. Tucking her helmet under her left arm she then used her right hand to brush stray auburn hairs out of her smooth face. Her emerald green eyes then focused in on the mandalorian man.*

Hello, as Romy has said, I am Zaiden. Bralor, Zaiden Bralor. *She half smiled as she stuck out her right hand for him to shake.* *As she stood firm and strong, he would be able to easily read the professional vibe she was giving off. Zaiden was not the type of woman who was bad at first impressions. She made it her point to make an impression on people but it would never be a negative one.*

*As Virin nodded to Romy when she told him of her friend, Zaiden, he smiled and then looked to her. As she removed her helmet, he did not move, but in his head he stumbled back a bit. She was beautiful and he had never seen someone so attractive. Though Romy was beautiful, he though so in that she was his oldest and best friend, not in any kind of romantic way. Smiling to her, he then spoke after glancing again to Romy. Taking her hand in a firm and strong grip he looked back to her with a grin.*

It seems that you come in good company, Romy. I am Virin Cadin, childhood friend of Romy here and a slightly better shot than her as well. *With a grin and a wink to Romy, he then chuckled and looked back to Zaiden, the grin still on his face as his blue/yellow eyes studied her beauty. After a moment his own fixed on her emerald green ones and he looked deep into her, trying to judge her character from her posture as well as her eyes.*

*Romy's violet eyes lit up as she tried to hold back a grin. She had seen his reaction as Zaiden had taken her helmet off. As subtle as he had tried to be, Romy knew him better than herself and could read him like a book. She watched them as they shook hands and then listened as he tried to impress Zaiden.*

HA! Good try, Virin! You haven't been home in a while... I may have gotten infinitesimally better than you! Then what? It may be next to nothing but I'll still beat you.

*Romy scrunched her nose and flexed her arms playfully.*

I've been working out ya know.

*As she noticed him staring at her intensely, she addressed the first thing he had said.*

And yes. I do come in very good company. *She put a hand on Zaiden's forarm, then let her hand fall again.* She's pretty much family.

*Zaiden shook Virin's hand then took it back and placed her hand at her side. She smirked as she heard the two playfully argue back and forth.*

*She saw the blueish yellow eyes light up when Virin saw her face for the first time. She could not really understand why he would get excited at the sight of her face. Until she met Romy she grew up mainly around males. She trained with boys her age, fought against boys her age and lived with mostly males. It was a strange concept to her that she made anyone take a second look.*

*She stayed silent and waited for one of them to address her once more.*

*As he felt her shake and saw her unwavering gaze, he was taken aback but kept his gaze on her, though it shifted somewhat. She dd not seem to be one for pleasantries and quite the quiet and stern one. Not his style. she was beautiful and quite nice to look at, but beyond that, she wasn't his type. As he then heard Romy speak, a grin found his face once again and he looked over to her.*

Yea, and while I was gone I only got better, in every aspect.But enough of this, I'll show you up later. Let's take this inside somewhere, is the Lone warrior cantina still open down in the lower levels of the city?

*As he looked to Romy while speaking, he straightened up again and folded his arms over his chest. His experience that he had gained shone through in his actions and he seemed more mature and professional than he was before he had left to go travel the Galaxy as a mercenary and Bounty Hunter. His eyes gleamed as he stared at her with a slight glance to Zaiden, while mainly looking at Romy.*

*As Virin waited for the response from Romy, he felt a slight vibration on his left forearm and raised it to chest level. Glancing down to the datapad that was embedded on his armour there, ne grinned and nodded to himself. Looking back to the ladies, the then spoke to them, wondering if they were interested in this call.*

On second thought, the drink will have to wait. I just received a message telling me that another group may be interested in giving me some work. I am sure they may have something to do. Care to join me and get your hands dirty?

*As he waited for the answer he moved over to his ship and hit a couple keys on the datapad that was on his forearm, as he had the ship do self checks with some of the orders on his forearm datapad, then doing some of the other ones himself he was satisfied as he looked back to the other tow, awaiting their response.*

*As she heard his first questions, she didn├óÔé¼Ôäót pay any attention to it as it was directed to Romy, though the second one peaked her interest.*

*A job? That could be interesting, it had been a while since she had done anything like that, but she was sure that her skills were still quite up to it, from having trained with her brothers earlier on, before having met Romy.*

A job sounds interesting. We have been sitting here doing nothing on this planet for long enough. Come on, Romy.

*As she didn├óÔé¼Ôäót bother to wait for a response from Romy, she then took her by the forearm and led her to his ship. It was slightly roomy and she took a rear seat while she let Romy take the co-pilot seat. Sitting down comfortably, she readied herself for the journey, wondering who this potential client was.*

*Grinning as he saw how eager she was to get into the action, he finished up with his checks and then moved around to get into the ship. Hopping in, he then got comfy in the pilot seat and put his helmet on. Looking back to the ladies, they wouldn├óÔé¼Ôäót be able to now see the grin on his face, but it was there, hidden by the visor.*

Alright ladies, get comfy we├óÔé¼Ôäóll be taking off momentarily.

*As he then flipped a few switches, the craft began to rise up off the ground. Hovering for a moment, he made a final few calculations and checks, then with warning he slammed the thrusters forward and launched the three of the up into the sky, the morning sun glinting off Virin├óÔé¼Ôäós ship.*

In preparation for the yearly employee garden parties, bulletins have been sent to those with families, as to ascertain the numbers interested in attending.
