Re: C.E.O's Office

*The office, if that was what it could truly be called, was as lavish as it was expansive. Taking up the entire top floor, the office was composed of a series of rooms, and acted as it's own self sufficient sector, complete with a reception, kitchen, board room, and the executive suite.

Barred off from the rest of the complex by a pair of doors which were crafted from varnished wroshyr wood, reinforced with duranium complete with a series of both manual and electronic locks- the reception was the first room that would be entered, and served as the only entrance and exit to the office. The dark wood paneled walls with rich electrum trimmings and mysterious yet aesthetically pleasing carvings, coupled with a beige marble floor gave an air of elegance. A massive horse-shoe shaped marble desk dominated the center of the room, manned by two hand maidens and an administrative droid. On the wall behind the desk, an electrum trimmed transparisteel plane with the Halocroft Industries logo engraved in it hovered over an artificial waterfall hovered through unknown means. There was a metal door at either side of the desk, leading to twin hallways, divided by the executive conference room which was located directly behind the rear wall of the lobby.

Past the conference room and basic facilities -including a kitchen and lounge, as well as a few smaller offices- the hallways converged into a greater hallway leading up a flight of stairs into the Executive suite, which was separated from the rest of the penthouse by a set of ornate brass doors.

The suite was the largest room in the penthouse, spanning the entire width of the top floor. While the halls and other rooms had marble floors, the floors of the executive office were covered in a soft beige carpet. Where a backwall should have been, there was a massive reinforced transparisteel wall, revealing the view of Byss' mountain range to the west, and the Imperial Sector's sky line to the the east. Much like the lobby, a massive desk dominated all other furniture in the room, though unlike the reception, this desk was wrought from the trunk of a Wroshyr tree. Polished to a fine finish, the desk looked more like a massive work of art, rather than a piece of furniture. Behind the desk was a massive, tall backed arm chair where the executive sat; there were two less impressive chairs at the front of the desk for guests to sit.

The walls were lined with art work and artifacts. The entire south-east corner of the room acted as a library, complete with parchment documents and digital documents, a reading desk and an arm chair. The southwest corner acted as a small, yet luxurious communications suite, with a holoprojector and an array of computers that linked into the tower's security and maintenance systems.

This office was as much a display of power as it was a seat of power.*

Re: C.E.O's Office

*The elevator chimed as it reached the top floor, accessible only by specialized key cards which the handmaidens, as well as a few select others possessed. As the stainless steel doors slid agape, they revealed a small waiting room. The room was lightly furnished, yet still beautiful, as red velvet chairs on brass legs offered people a brief respite before heading through those massive, intimidating doors.

Two handmaidens strode forward, placing their hands on keypads simultaneously. The doors swung open on electric hinges, allowing the troop of handmaiden's and their guest to walk through, into the lobby. They didn't stop, as they guided Tulos past the lobby into the western most door, and into the board room. The room was not unlike the lobby, with wood paneled walls and a marble floor. A long table with rounded ends and a set of 12 chairs which surrounded it, five at each side, and one at each head.

The handmaidens stopped just outside of the door. Their leader gestured for Tulos to enter.*

"The Overseer will be with you momentarily."

*With that, she gave a polite smile, before leading her handmaidens out of the penthouse, leaving Tulos to get comfortable. Five minutes later, the door of the conference room slid open to a tall, well groomed man who wore a neat black uniform, ironed to a crisp. The crows feet, grey hairs and stern expression suggested that he would be no pushover in potential negotiations. He looked at Tulos, giving him a nod then proceeded to sit directly across from him (unless Tulos chose to sit at the head of the table, in which case the Overseer would sit at the nearest chair to his right hand).

Once he sat down, he would rest his hands on the table, clasping them together before looking at Tulos with a combination of professional scrutiny and curiosity.*

"Tell me Mr. Carrion, to what do I owe the honor?"

Re: C.E.O's Office

The Penthouse was lavish- surprisingly so after Tulos' run in with the woman in the hangar. First impressions were the most important ones, yet they were not always set in stone, and Tulos suddenly held this company in much higher esteem after getting out of the elevator. Yet no matter how impressed Tulos was, he kept his face emotionless.

"Impressive."

That was all he said as he allowed the troop of beautiful, deadly women guide him through the lavish arrangement of rooms. He let his eyes scan every inch of every edifice. Flawless. It was definitely a place where the 1% could mingle.

As they led him into the room, Tulos gave the leader a mutually polite nod before taking a seat. He scanned the conference room while he waited. After a few minutes, he began to tap his fingers against the table with impatience. Tulos hated tardiness, yet even so, when the man known as the 'Overseer' entered the room, he showed nothing. Standing up, Tulos reached across the table, offering his hand, refusing to lower it until he shook hands with the over seer. Only then would he return to his seat.

"Well, word on the business grapevine is that your company is not reaching its....full potential..."

While his words were neutral, Tulos was sure that the Overseer would get the intended message which was hidden within the polite words. Halocroft Industries was failing.

"I believe I can help change that..."

Tulos set his hands on the table, lacing his fingers together. His vibrant green eyes locked with the eyes of the older man, refusing to flinch, wince or even blink.

Re: C.E.O's Office

*A thick, yet well groomed grey laced black eyebrow rose slowly. The Overseer hadn't expected such a visit- Halocroft Industries was in fact failing, however it was not something that was spoken of. This Tulos either had strong connections, or had an insider in the company, either way, he was dangerous.

With an expression that would be considered lifeless when compared to a stone, the Overseer leaned forward, matching Tulos' stare with one of his own. The tension built for a few minutes before the Overseer decided to speak.*

"What are you proposing?"

*That was it. No questions on the background of Tulos himself, or his information. That would be what he wanted. The Overseer could tell that this man fed on lording over others. He wanted the Overseer to ask how he knew such things- of that he was certain. He would get nothing from the Overseer. Nothing except business.*

Re: C.E.O's Office

"Well it's quite simple really..."

Tulos reached into the folds of his robes before procuring a datapad, which he rested on the massive wooden table. He gave the tablet a gentle push, sliding it towards the Overseer for his examination. On the tablet was a resume, along with an investment portfolio, coming from Coruscant. It showed a successful history of bringing businesses from the brink. Tulos waited in silence for the man to examine the tablet. After a few minutes, he broke the silence.

"As you can see, this is now my first Rancor Rodeo. All you need to do is hand me the reins and I will guide Halocroft Industries to safety...for a price, of course."

Tulos allowed a slight smile to grace his thin lips as his emerald eyes flickered with bright ambition.

"That is, of course, presuming your master is not too proud to let another man handle his assets..."
