Picking on the new guy I see? Can I just say kriff it and ram your ships? Unless I am mistaken my ships are larger by a good deal and with momentum, they could at the least cripple at least two ships. Even if it means the more or less destruction of mine.

Your ships are actually considerably smaller... 1500m vs 4000m, and we are both a fair distance away.
But no your ships actually are the biggest threat at the moment, so as long as everyone else is going to let me, I am going to destroy them first.

I have no problem with you doing it. My mistake on the size idk where I got 4000 from anyways I figure thats my best bet is to make a micro jump with for sure the Cade right now and try to ram something because I figure it will do something or other.

I suggest falling back Xeo... No need to waste your warships in a straight run at those guns... You'd be obliterated unfortunately. Call the retreat, take heavy damage and fall back to Foerost and get the ships repaired

jumping deep into a gravity well and staying on course is iffy at best, and my ships are already trying to shove yours around with big tractor beams, which would add even more problems.

And if you missed, which would be most likely. It would put your ships within easy reach of mine to where I could simply pin them and take them apart without any serious threat to my own.

Well obviously he'd have to make several hyperspace jumps, seeing as there is no convenient hyperspace lane between Foerost and Lianna lol I meant to say he should hyperjump away from imminent danger then limp back to the Deep Core

I meant his micro jumping in to ram idea. right now he would have to turn his ship around in order to microjump away from the battle because he is pointing his bow at my fleet.

I think you need to give a lil more here Taung, yes your shields are strong but not unbreachable and we have been concentrating our fire and nothing happens.

Or he could just dive or point his nose up... space isn't limited to forward, backward, side and side.

And there are 15 ranged shield between your fleet and my ships regular shields, and each of my Mishs is packing the equivilent of 3 ISD IIs in firepower... They were designed specifically for this kind of fighting.

3 ISDs in length alone is 4800m... 800m longer than 1 of my 4 largest ships. Mort is only firing 4 long ranged Turbos from all of his ships. Combined you and Xeonon are shooting at best the equivilent of 2 of my big ships worth of weapons at me through all of those ranged shields. I am firing many times more firepower at you, and you have only your ships shields. How would you like me to call it?

And yes I realize that Mort, my point was he'd have to turn.

its the 12 Prow turbs that really rack it up, cause each puts out 96 turbolasers (per barrel) of energy, compared to a heavy turb that puts out 3 turbs worth. But on a flank alone with secondaries is 100 heavy turbolasers before anything else.

The math works out to the Mish class is carrying 1700 turbs of firepower (before missiles) and an ISD only has a shade over 500.

Still, firing ALL of those would require way more energy than any reactor (aside from a Jenith) can put out with the space in the ships.

This is what I was picturing going step by step with the battle. Though my ships are considerably closer to the planet, having essentially been sitting in orbit at anchor, and they havent moved away from the planet during the battle. So 1000 km seperation with the faction fleet and Gabes ships, would put them almost right on the edge of the atmosphere.
