*As if on cue, a comm channel opens just as Osirus sits, and after a squelch of static, a voice says:*

GCCS tells me you have the closest thing they've got to a Fast Response Team and I was wondering if you'd be willing to lend us a hand with a developing situation. A Consular-class cruiser in orbit is heading for the surface on a crash course. We have a squad with a medical officer heading out, but since we have virtually no detail about what we're looking at in terms of passengers aboard the cruiser, it might be advisable to gather whatever resources we can so we're adequately prepared to deal with the situation. "Get your men together and head out there on the CR-25's. Light equipment, do what you can..."
*Osirus stood, saluted and headed out into the hall*
*The alarm sounded as soon as Osirus left the command room. Within a minute, Fox Company was in the halls in front of Osirus*

"Alright boys nothin' fancy. We got a crash and we're the closest thing to a quick response team these people have. Light equipment, but grab extra Medpacks. Hoorah!"
*Fox Company replied with a "HOORAH!" and followed Osirus onto the roof of the CTU building. The troops loaded onto the ships and took off. Osirus didn't like that he didn't know exactly where he was going, but that was just a merc thing, he figured...*

*Captain Zolin landed on the roof landing pad on the CTU Command Building. Almost immediately, a transmission came through to Osirus's ear piece*

*Osirus disembarked the ship and turned to Fox Company and Captain Zolin*

"A few words before you men go down into the barracks. I wanted to say that I thought you men worked great today. Fox Company, be sure to buy Captain Zolin here a few Corellian ales 'cause the man saved all your lives with his mean flyin'."
*Osirus smiled and saluted. Fox Company returned the salute and headed down the stairs. Osirus headed to Ochevski's office*

*Osirus walked in and sat down*

"Good work out there Lieutenant...I thought you were just some cocky young merc who was gunna get my men killed, but you got some real talent. I bet you didn't expect pirates on a search and rescue..."

"Its not what you expect sir, its what you are ready for. Me? I'm ready for anything. Oh and *Osirus straightened his back* thank you SIR."

Sgt Major Ochevski
"Hoorah soldier. Keep up the good work. I don't think we'll be needing your service too soon, at least we hope not. You might possibly be on call for security detail at some politicians ass-kissing festival, but I'll let you know in advance. Carry on soldier."
*Osirus stood, saluted and walked out of Ochevski's office. Osirus walked to his room and began taking of his armor, thinking about the battle. After his armor was removed, Osirus went to the kitchen and made food. Everything had seemed to fall into a routine these days, but Osirus didn't mind. At least he didn't have to pay for Sithspit...*
