UTAPAU
**Utapau was an arid sinkhole world in the Utapau system of the Tarabba Sector in the Outer Rim Territories. Utapau was the homeworld of the Pau'ans and the Utai, more commonly referred to collectively as Utapauns. These species lived in the many giant sinkholes that dotted the planet's scrub-covered surface.**

Utapau is characterized by three prime details - peace, liberty, and order. Therefore, just about anyone is welcome to Utapau whether they are Jedi, Sith, or neither. They have no specific sympathy for anybody, although factional allegiance with the Brotherhood War Party holds a major amount of sway over the populace and conduct therein. The Brotherhood War Party is responsible for supplementing our planet's military capability and protecting its people.
The types of role play that can be found on Utapau are limitless - from underground operations towards overthrowing politicians or perpetuating crime and profiteering, to discussions between the wise about the events of the galaxy around them, to even a possible full scale battle given the planet is threatened by a malevolent force, there is much entertainment to be found not only in Utapau but within its cavernous labyrinth within the lowest depths of the sinkholes, places where dangerous creatures reside and brave adventurers of desperate criminals dare. Role play here can be both spontaneous and planned, but one thing is for sure - the role play here is good and worth your while whether you are experienced or just starting out! (we ask some ideas be PMed to the team writing here)
You may be wondering if you'll fit in or be able to find any role play here. The answer to both queries is a big, boisterous yes. All role players that approached Utapau are welcome and attended to as quickly as possible. Are you new? Yes, you'll be given pointers, greeted enthusiastically, and familiarized with the environment. Are you an experienced role player looking for some true entertainment? You'll find a rich and engaging writing experience here, where role play is more about plotlines and enjoyment than bolstering ones own reputation and character capabilities. This can be done here, but this is not Utapau's purpose.
PROTIP: Utapau will allow you to role play some kind of establishment, like a bar or diner or club, and consent is necessary. Although it would be courteous to notify Zabasaz so he could make sure it gets proper notice, and so he can partake...
In order to join role play on this planet, it is courteous that you follow these few tips:
-You may emerge anywhere conceivable in Utapau. You can appear in a bar, in some kind of show, on the streets, on the windy surfaces, in orbit, anywhere. You don't need consent to enter the planets but do not invade territories that are specifically intended to be unaccessible, such as a person's locked or hidden home or a politician's office. Secure locations are secure for a reason, but most places are open to the public within reason.
-If you are for any reason on hostile terms with Utapau, emerging on its surface would be difficult since the only safe landing locations are typically secured by Utapau authorities and there will be a fleet in orbit at all times. Before you may enter the planet you must first role play in Open Space over the planet your means of getting there. Don't worry - if you're on hostile terms with Utapau, it NEVER will mean you cannot role play there. We actually encourage, for the sake of diverse role play, the presence of enemies to liven things up and add their hostile spice.
-OOC on Utapau is NOT entirely supported. All OOC play IS RESPECTFULLY ASK TO be taken to PM's or an OOC board. Posts made entirely of OOC will NOT BE TOLERATED, posts with role play and a bit of OOC are acceptable. Please do not post out of character on Utapau for an entire post, and thank you in advance if you so kindly heed this simple wish.
Newcomers to Utapau should expect:
-An awkwardly generic but definitely personalized greeting from the Pau Cities governor Zabasaz in your Inbox. You will be welcomed, given some advice where to start if you seem to need it, and any questions will be willingly answered.
-An in character post in your Inbox. Newcomers to Utapau are given a surprise greeting...
-To be able to join any role play within reason (based on location, primarily - if it is somewhere unaccessible or hard to find, you'll have to work out a way to join in with the members out of character via PM's or a thread in an OOC forum) and to be accepted without regard for your writing quality.
-A great time, without fail.
