Don't worry mal, I covered you. set it up so that you just arrived a touch early to the collection point (but still well outside the system).

Also, I have 500 IG-100s that will be serving as ground pounders at some point during the fight. ANYTHING I have present in the fight is fully able to be destroyed/killed (with the exception of aya who is only poking in randomly from the side-lines). That includes my entire fleet and the NPC admiral in command of it.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

I have read, understood and agree to the rules stated herein by Myself, Dav, Corr and Adi.

Inks will be on the ground in defense of the Praxeum. I will be fighting myself. Good god help me.....lol!!

Ash will be headed planet side as soon as we can clear the enemy fleet. The NPC's he brings are open for death. As is Ashrah and Inks. If you can kill me, bring it. hahah!

I don't really plan on having Ash die in this RP though, so I will be writing my bag off. Lets do it.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

I'll mostly likely stay at the temple and provide some sort of first aide for any injuries sustained on the Jedi-Side. If the temple is infiltrated, I'm up for a duel, but I'd prefer to avoid death, but extreme maiming is perfectly acceptable.

And I'll probably tag along with Mike as much as I can, considering our master/apprentice stuff

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

I have read, understood and agree to the rules stated herein.

Jago is a pilot first and foremost, and will therefore be leading Yavin's fighters during the Orbital Engagement and, after the retreat to the surface, flying with whatever remains of our Air Force in the Temple to prevent Mandalorian incursions on the Moon itself. He will also most likely be doing some ground-pounding in between flight.

I would much prefer it for Jago to survive the fight, but I'll also be writing a massive assortment of NPC Commandos, Pilots, and a few Jedi Knights for Yavin IV, who are free to be killed at any time.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

posted in orbit with duke.

do we want to speed RP the thing untill the bomb is ready to blow? I mean, I get permission, then write what the peeps do onboard the station untill the fleet arrives (assembling veapons and the bomb) and when the fleets arrived, just as the station is about to fire...

tssszzzz......

I wasnt sure wich canon EMP bomb to use, I hope the Mag Pulse is non harmfull to living beings, if it is not, then ignore it, or I can change it in a post... or something.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

Wrote the rules, so... you know...

Dav is going to be on Yavin Station in the Battle, until the point he gives the retreat command that signals the end of the space engagement. He'll be surviving this (as, apart from the fact I am not done with him yet, his ongoing survival is going to enable me to drive the various planned parts of the RP through his actions), but I've got plenty of soldiers to get mown down, and I'm also going to offer some of my prized named NPC characters up for the chop. They are, one and all, prized characters, though, so if you want to kill them, bring your A game!

Throughout the siege, Dav will also be joining Jago in the air, as well as troops on the ground. He's also going to be running the blockade a few times on various missions, including co-ordinating and instigating it's end.

Nandor, not a worry mate, I'll RP with you the build up to the bomb tonight.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

Was told to post here, so, *ahem* I have read, understood and agree to the rules blah blah blah, I'm in.

Inferno is in the Praxeum and that's where I "plan" to keep him for the duration of this business. He'll be fighting on the Jeedai's side - I'm as surprised as anyone else.
Would prefer that I don't die - I supposed everyone would - but sufficient damage and incapacitation is definitely acceptable. I'm really up for anything short of death, so lets have fun!
I currently have no dance partner in any PvP fisti-cuffs/lightstick dueling so if anyone is interested in throwing down then feel free to PM me because there's a good chance I'm probably never looking at this page again - short attention span....

Yes, I too have read, understood and agree to the rules stated within this forum. My apologies for failing to acknowledge that.

But yes, I will mostly be located where ever Mike is, performing first aid and maybe some illusions to distract and enemy troops that come by.

But I have decided I may leave the temple, so if I am encountered by enemies, my offer for a battle still stands with no full death. And I too am looking for a PvP duel if anyone is open. So just let me know as well

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

Yeah, I was asked to post here, can't be too hard. Yes, I understand the "rules" which I see as common sense, bla, bla.

My fleet will be taking part in the fleet battle and part of my army and my PC will be taking part in the ground battle. Tza will be stuck in the Jedi Praxeum during the siege and will try to avoid directly taking part in the battle, he's not that kinda character. He'll probably gte thrown into some fighting at some point in which case I would like him to survive but all other injuries are fine.

Cya on the battlefield!

Cuy will be landing three with eighteen warriors a piece. six crew, twelve warriors. We will be launched and then go to no power, until we are close enough to make a landing surge.

If you can kill Cuyan in a fight, feel free to try.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

Read and understood the terms. Zuli will be ground side the whole time, making a nuisance of himself to any Mandos that make it to the surface. Zuli has been on Yavin in the Praxeum since 1.0 and as far as I'm aware, he's been there longer than pretty much anyone of the other Yavinites. He'll use the knowledge and experience he's gained there to be a big pain in the choobies and whatnot.

No, he won't be dying in this conflict. But feel free to kick him in the balls and all sorts of other painful stuff if you want to have a scrap with him. I won't try to kill your characters and am happy to plan a dreadfully complex and intricate escape plan for himself or anyone involved with him during this conflict.

Hell, I'll even go for an all out, no holds barred, tooth and nail, blood and guts thumb war with anyone brave enough to take one someone who can, conceivably have more thumbs than fingers.. Tee Hee

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

I'll take that challenge if I can work it in to all the other crap I gotta do with Corr. T'would be an interesting scrap to say the least...

Any Mando's signed up that haven't posted lease coordinate with Ashrah, AZD or myself.

Dan, if you wanna try that landing then thats cool but interact with one of the Yavinites to see if its cool, It should be but check with them anyway.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

Zuli is probably the last Yavinite you'd want to encounter during the "mando vacation". With extensive knowledge of the jungle moon among other things, the fact that he is a shapeshifter and could literally be right beside you and you wouldn't even know it. A mastery of plant surge and animal friendship will make him a resilient and difficult foe.

Those vines you have to hack through? Zuli enhanced their growth through The Force.

The Woolamanders that keep stealing your food? That's because Zuli is hungry.

The Whisperbirds who keep Sithspit in your vehicles exhaust vents and sensor relays? Because Zuli challenged their target practice skills.

The piranha beetles that chewed off your toes in the night? Well they were just doing what they do, but Zuli did tell them Mando-meat is delicious..

Im basically thinking up commando style hit and run stuff from all angles and vectors, from a kriffin' big guy you won't be able to see coming til it's too late.. (Think Stallone in First Blood, Arnie in Predator). Obviously he won't be able to wipe out all your troops, but he'll hamper, injure and annoy a hell of a lot of them. Mainly looking to make it fun and interesting for whoever he encounters :-D

All in all, you'll be sorry you came.. Tee hee

I have read, understood, and agree to the rules.

Adi is stationed at the Praxeum Hangar, waiting for someone to over-run the thin defenses, and get inside, where he has a little surprise waiting for them. Valdemar has agreed to come play, but as of this posting, he only has 18 soldiers. Maybe Dan could rendezvous with him, and combine forces?

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

Dude... who you talking to? Its not as if I don't know who Zuli is and not as if Corr is a spaceport. I don't care about your abilities and won't even ask you to limit them, though I'd frown upon you using the plantlife as well as your Shi'doism (SP?)

Also...

*Taps his buy'ce.*

I don't need to see you to track you. Bring it on, ya big lummox! I'll feed you a crushgaunt sammich.

Yeah I'm cool with all that. A guerilla style frackass sounds good though I'm not sure when that will be played out. Corr is gonna be in orbit for the first part I think.

As for those single fighters; myself and Alkor are both forming up with Jago's squadrons, so our location is with them, or very close by.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

Also, If people could post a TL;DR version in code at the end of their posts with the highlights of their post, it would speed up replies and cut down on confusion greatly. You can keep all the meat in the main part of the post, but a simple "everything fires at X; I took this much damage; my fighters are going to attack the station" makes everything so much shinier. Just a suggestion.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

I dunno, that text version confused the heck out of me├óÔé¼┬ª

Can we switch to a Paint version, better representing 3D space? Cross referencing those symbols and what not is far more taxing than simply reading the posts, for me anyways├óÔé¼┬ª

EDIT: I just saw your post, Admiralty, regarding the coded explanation. I'm down with that.

Re: Mandalorian Holy War: Yavin IV OOC Information

You don't play dwarf fortress do you. :P

I don't for the simple reason that an image file would be much more complicated to put up, if the page even did allows images (which it doesn't).
