This is a place where you can go to settle all of your IC issues with someone.

Rules of the thread.

1. Not personal insults
2. Everything here is ooc there is to be no rp here
3. NO FOUL LANGUAGE, Do not attempt to circumvent the word filter, do not star out foul language just don't use it at all.
4. All other site rules apply.

The YVE wishes to move into Lwhekk and place it as part our protected worlds.


Meaning:

We will militarily defend the planet.
We will not influence galactic or planet side politics.
We will not restrict RP availability
We will just have military installations involved.
We will not take up taxes.

The NOE is officially moving in within the next few posts. This means.

We will militarily defend the planet.
We will influence planet-side politics and economics.
We will NOT restrict RP (but we do ask that you respect our wishes).
We will have a military garrison here.
We will incorporate the Ssi-Ruuk into the NOE.
We will collect taxes.

Seriously? Every known world isn't enough for you? You have to come and steal an obscure culture and their unique technology to be happy?

Except you're not going to be happy. You're just going to keep doing it.

Excuse me? If you have a valid concern, where I don't bring proper RP to the planets that I personally control "in the name of the NOE" then by all means bring them forth. If you are just complaining because the largest group (in terms of unique IPs) has the most planets in Uni, then go somewhere else.

I'll thank you kindly to remember that Bespin, Sump, Xagobah, and Hapes (the planets that I'm in charge of) have all received RP and have not been restrictive from ANYONE rping there. Lwhekk is no different, it will be open for RP for anyone who wishes to RP here. I'm in no way stopping anyone from coming and writing here. I'd actually encourage some writers to come and create a Ssi-Ruu character and write here.

What are you complaining about again? That I "have to steal an obscure culture and their unique technology to be happy" right? Did you think that maybe, just maybe I like Star Wars: The Truce at Bakura and was excited to have a chance to RP Ssi-Ruuk as members of the NOE? Or did you just naturally assume that I was only taking the planet because I wanted their entechment tech? Because honestly, I don't think its that great of tech...

Regardless, what I said above still stands:

If you have a valid concern about how I (personally) am taking planets for the sake of holding them and NOT bringing RP to them then by all means bring it forward.

If you are just complaining because you have some sort of beef with the fact that I personally control four (now five) planets which are getting regular RP and are prospering (including one Gold rated planet and three [soon to be four] silver rated planets), then just please leave it be and kindly knock it off.

You can't RP on the planet without taking it over? You have to move in in order to NPC some Ssi-ruuk?

Why not leave Lwhekk in the hands of the Ssi-ruuk (a race that canonically would never just move over and let you take control of them), and instead RP an alliance with them using the NPC's you want so badly.

There's other, better, more realistic ways to get all the RP you want while still leaving the canonicity of the race and culture intact. As opposed to tearing it to ribbons like you intend to do by bringing them under your personal control.

So what I am opposed to, is just coming in and decanonizing a very unique culture. If you were coming in with all your war machines in a huge battle and they fought you all the way, including after you've won, then that's a different story. That's keeping the culture true to canon. But you coming in and making them your personal slaves (because in essence that's what they'll be, even if not in practice) by offering them a few party favors is tearing apart the canon culture.

So no, I have no problem with you coming here and bringing good RP to the planet. I have a problem with you destroying the culture to do so.

Would you like for me to spell out my entire RP plan for Lwhekk and the Ssi-Ruuk? Because obviously you are going to continue to complain and moan about a plan that hasn't even been RPed through to fruition.

But hey, since you seem to know EVERYTHING I'm going to do, why don't you go ahead and tell me exactly what my plan was here on Lwhekk? Since your first guess was pretty damn far-off.

Might I also add that there were more than one instance of the Ssi-ruuk being allied with "outsiders" in canon? Or maybe you'd know that if you actually did some homework instead of deciding that you know everything about the Unknown Regions and their populace.

That's a pretty concise list. And it gives the very distinct impression that the Ssi-ruuk are going to just fall in line with your wishes and become your lackeys, which would never happen with the canon culture.

Palpatine wasn't going to get their tech and instruction on how to use it by rushing in and crushing them. Nope, he would have gone about it in the true Palpatinian way: Subtlety and manipulation. Only "crushing them" once he already had control...very much like how he waited to enact his control over the Republic.

Never said they would "fall in line"...in fact, in case you aren't reading the RP on the surface: my men are currently in a lot of trouble.

So it's a case of mistaken identity then. Although you arguing for someone to take them over with party favors isn't helping....

I just got fed up with Bacca's planet hoarding and this didn't seem any different on the surface. So I apoloqize.

Okay, first of all. You took that entirely the wrong way. I was not saying that Bacca is like Dom. I was just saying that one person is not like another, just because they are part of the same "group" (in my example, you and Dom...Chiss).

I've already talked to Bacca about how I feel concerning what I feel is planet hoarding. He is well aware of that.

hey just letting Wade know that I used to be the ONLY Ssi-ruu on this site Ethinaga. I mean at all. There is/was no interest in anyone rping as ssi-ruu. Believe me I tried. And honestly what is canonical here? Mandos that not only are force user but openly accept them? I mean lets face it if we stuck to the strict cannon then it would be a rather boring rp. Cause I would not have been able to interact with any other rper expect by attacking them.

And wether Mortale knew it or not I had gone through some extreme back stories to make it so the Imperium would be able to have relations with the outside world without to much violence. I started a revolution as a brown ruuvi and changed system that ruuvi had gone by for centuries. So actually in this universe these Ruuvi would not shoot first ask questions later.

Unless someone else had plans for the planet, it shouldn't really matter what someone does with it in the meantime. As Ethinaga said, it's not like there is a long list of players willing to sign up as Ssi-Ruu. One might as well let it be used for something as opposed to sitting idle. Also given the NOE's track record for contributing to raising a planets rating(1 platinum, 8 gold, numerous silvers), I think Lwehekk could do a lot worse.

I don't really know what Mortale had planned for it, but I think it is unfair of Wade to make accusations based purely on speculative assumptions. It certainly couldn't hurt to ask a question or two before pointing fingers and making claims of foul intent.
