Awesome! I loved Brom! My personal belief as far as using him goes is that you're good as long as you're not riding dragons and stuff around, or using magic without some sort of explanation like: "I was raised on some really back-water planet where The Force isn't viewed as the force." Of course, saying pretty much anything with Jeremy Irons voice just makes it sound legitimate. Honestly, anyone who knows his voice would totally let you slide if you said "I was raised by an alligator in a swamp and ate small children until I was 30."

From what i'm aware of, Karbo is completely correct. You can look and have the personality of Brom, but as long as it sticks or follows along with the Star Wars aspect that the site holds.

Allo, I believe I have participated here under old accounts that I've lost before (don't need to find them). For a long time I've been trying to write my own fiction but I always run into some sort of end such as cultural issues or lack of drive. So I've crawled back to star wars where I feel the freedom is mug larger. I hope to have my creativity challenged to keep my mojo flowing.

It has, however, been a while since I have rp'ed. With my character, I plan to be a free-lance merc whose home world is Gandle Ott, with the force, however using the abilities to remain neutral (as to what abilities, I'm not sure yet). But, I'm not entirely sure as to where to start on this site. I'm familiar with forums, though this one is a bit...extensive, to say the least. Any suggestions?

well you can come to contruum in the expansion region and learn under me a true netral or you can post in the star wars rp section towards the bottom of the main board dont be afraid to send me a pm as im on several times a day

Anyway as Ben had said Contruum is a very nice place o start there are currently some active people there but I guess depending on what kind of story you have planned out for your character the places to start could change. If you are looking for training in the force there are a bunch of people all over the place and some academies there are also yes bounty hunters and mercs who are force sensitive you could help you too. If you are just looking for people to RP with there are plenty of places I could point you towards who would probably be very willing to RP with you.[/color:30nui8q7]

First of all, I know, I had a leave of absence when this thing really kicked off because of RL reasons, but now that I've come back and been back for a bit now. Is this still a thing or has it died away?

I have not seen Kirus for a while Anven is going for a week I guess I am an unoffical member, Monte is peddling his crystals and Ana is doing whatever Whills do.

I understand that Kirus is overwhelmed in RL and it's unfortunately pulled him away from JvS :(. However, I'd like to make sure that this thing doesn't die out because the idea behind it had such good intentions. I'll try and talk to him via Skype the next time he's on and see if I can get everyone a head's up on his situation. Otherwise, I think we should be adamant on making sure that any and all new writers know that this is here.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, didn't we have an Account made for the Guardian Angels? One that we would send all requests from to new arrivals? I think we did so I'll try and see if I can dig it up.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been freelancing with people that have questions (but I also count that as part of both being a councilor and a GA).

[color=#FFFF00:1e9xdxyt]It looks like the account was inactive long enough that it was purged but the usergroup does still exist. With the threads we have here, the account was probably a bit redundant anyway.

I do keep an eye on these threads but I have noticed that most new users tend to post in the OOC JvS RP thread, so if we want to reach out to new players we may want to start being more attentive to that area so we can direct them here.[/color:1e9xdxyt]
