Re: Open Orbit

*The Solomon mines scouts show up over orbit and descend towards the planet, they had come to see if the planet still had the mines on it, after a search they found the ships docked in high orbit. Turning them on they began trolling the surface again in order to get the precious ores located on the molten world.*

Re: Open Orbit

*As everything goes according to plan the ships fill up with the processed ores in separate compartments the ships take turns bring the products to home base so to count the needed materials.*

Re: Open Orbit

*The volcanic world was hell in the center of the universe, with its lava flows and constant volcanic eruptions it was a menacing sight. Even through it all the the brave men and women of Solomon Mines went down to its surface weekly to collect the semi molten metals that permeated the surface and lava flows. This day was no different they would drop down a claw the would pick up the semi solid metals and wait for them to cool before lifting them into the cargo hold.

As one man did this his father piloted the ship making sure to stay away from any violent explosions but in the world nothing is for sure and out of no where an explosion rocked under the ship covering it in lava and melting away the outer layer. Checking to make sure the ship was still operable he flew the ship up higher so the lava would cool.*

Re: Open Orbit

*Things had been going well for the few brave miners that worked for Xeonons company. They were meeting daily quotas and had little in the way of trouble from outside sources. Occasionally some key part of the machine would break that was needed to harvest the materials but it would be fixed swiftly. One such group of miners, the Robinsons were quick to jump at the importunity to mine and kriff Sithspit up. So they soon reached the top of the Solomon Mining group there creating a small betting ring about who would be the first to crash into the lava.*

Re: Open Orbit

*After the stall in mining production due to overstock, the men and women who brave the lava flows went back to work. Well technically they are not doing much more than trolling some of the more semi-solid lava in ships that had shielding in them. Sure every now and then a explosion would cover the ship in lava but it dripped harmlessly off most of the time. Such was the case when it came to the Robinsons ship that while extracting some of the richest areas when a explosion shot up and soaked through the hull causing a breach. Hot air wafted in before they were able to reroute power from one of the non-essential things. Rising up they put on a quick repair before going back to work.*

Re: Open Orbit

*A transmission was broadcast over an Imperial channel to the office of the current supervisor of mining operations on Aaghra. This connection originated from Aargau, the center of Imperial activity in the Core, where Moff Moon of Foerost was currently in attendance. The voice heard over the line was clean, crisp, and possessing of a Coruscanti accent. Though it did seem to overreach in its enunciation.*

*Ring, ring.* :: Solomon Mines? This is Geoffry Winkleton, aide-de-camp of Moff Moon, the Imperial planetary governor of Foerost and chief executive of its shipyards. Sir, his Moffship requests to speak with the current mining supervisor on Aaghra. ::

* A gruff sounding man came onto the comm a few moments later. His voice sounded similar to that of Mace Windus and other men of the galaxy that shared such a gene pool.*:: This is supervisor Jackson how can I help the Moff of Foerest today? ::

Re: Open Orbit

:: Please hold as I connect you to the Moff, sir. ::

*There was a brief pause followed by some random elevator music. Du-du du-du-du-du, du-du-du. Then finally...*

:: Hello? Supervisor Jackson? Is this thing on? Stop that! What are you pointing at? The green light? Oh, it is on. Of course I knew that. :: *Of course...* :: Ah, greetings Mr. Jackon. As I'm sure my assistant already informed you, my name is Daniel Moon, Imperial Moff overseeing the Foerost system. That includes the planet's shipyards, which is why I am contacting you here today. I would like to make an amendment to your company's contract with the Imperial Remnant. Currently you supply the Remnant with ores and materials mined from a variety of systems, many of which like Aaghra, fall into Imperial space. With the Remnant's reconstruction efforts reaching an all time high, we would like for you to begin sending a greater share of extracted resources to Foerost for processing. We already receive sizable shipments at regular intervals, but with the need for warships, so comes the need for the basic ingredients that compose them. If possible we would like to see shipment sizes increase by fifty percent. That is the preferable rate. At minimum we require at least a thirty percent increase in shipped resources. ::

Re: Open Orbit

*Looks like there was about to be a little bit of phone tag so to speak.* :: Ahh yes, Moff Moon trust me I would love to divert all my minerals to the Foerest Fleetyards. It would do an old navy vet proud to see the Imperial Navy back to its former glory, however that is not my call. Ultimatly it is up to the Manager Finde Lor, I can patch him through to you if you give me a moment. :: *Without waiting for a reply Moon would get his own dose of elevator music while Finde made his way to a camera.*

:: Yes hello, Moff Moon you there? Of course you are. Anyways Jackson said you were looking for an increase of shipments to the shipyards correct? We do have a surplus right now with all the mines operating above optimal preformance so for right now we can do a 50% increase but that may slightly decrease depending on our own levels of productivity. :: *As he said this he was running his eyes, running a galactic sized business was no walk in the park and as such sleep was something he did not get very often.*

Re: Open Orbit

:: Splendid. :: *Replied Moon, his delight evident in his tone.* :: We certainly do not expect more from Solomon Mines than what is possible. The need for additional resources is only a temporary measure, pending to last until we've properly seen to the Remnant's current set of needs. After which we will likely reduce our requested shipments to their previous size. And of course the IR will see that you continue to receive your current rates, in addition to accounting for the increase in shipped materials. ::

Re: Open Orbit

*Yay money, everyone loves that! Looks like now Finde will have to contact Nica in order to negotiate a price so the Mines bank account can finally get some money in it.* :: I am glad to hear this Moff Moon, I shall send the next shipment with more materials in a few days. Solomon Mines being an Imperial company has no problem supporting those who help out the Imperial cause. ::

Re: Open Orbit

:: You honour the Imperial Remnant with your loyalty, Mr. Lor, and you shall be rewarded for it. If there are any issues regarding the shipment, you may reach me at my office in Hajibar on Foerost. Any scheduling matters should be addressed to the yards directly. Thank you for your time and have a good day. Moff Moon out. ::

*And on that note the governor of Foerost signed off. If this was a video phone call, then image of the uniformed Moff was replaced with the Imperial logo. If not, static.*
