Academy Main Building

*Well this was unfortunate his well planned plan had failed and not in a way he had not expected. Somehow with being able to actually see what Andrew was doing Kirus still knew about his plan so that would mean he was a very observant person which would be trouble. This guy also tried to kick him as he rolled away so he was also very quick to adjust his attacks again a very big problem. So as Andrew rolled he twisted his body around so that he would end up facing Kirus though he kind of skidded to a stop because of the quick movement.

Now there was an even bigger problem the sword he had been using was in the middle of the both of them right where he had dropped it. Well to everyone else watching that wouldn├óÔé¼Ôäót seem like a problem to them because Andrew still had his two swords with him. Just that one he refused to use because well he only used it for special occasions and the other well he could use it but for fairness sake he just refused to use it.

He had started the fight with that sword so he would dedicate himself to finishing it with that sword. It was mostly him being stubborn but he really didn├óÔé¼Ôäót care because he was bound determined to get that sword back he would just have to be careful in doing it.*

*Andrew space his feet shoulder width apart and with one slightly in front of the other as if he was prepared to fight Kirus in hand-to-hand combat. He was planning on how to get the sword back as there were very few options he could do. The bright side was they were both about the same distance away from the sword so they would both have to make a run for it to actually get there.*

*There was just one problem to this and that was there was a change in Kirus├óÔé¼Ôäós stance which probably meant he was changing the way he was fighting. Andrew carefully looked at Kirus and noted everything he could about his new stance the most notable thing was how much it appeared he was watching him and not looking away.*

*So for a minute Andrew relaxed his stance and took his sword from his back but he wasn├óÔé¼Ôäót going to use it what he did was he threw it off to the side letting it slide to the edge of the arena. He then took his long sword he replaced it onto his back to free up his sides for better movement. H e was again planning ahead and what he saw coming was Kirus was probably not going to hold back his speed anymore so Andrew would need the extra weight gone.

Right after he was done with this he began to run without any warning he just charged forward but he didn├óÔé¼Ôäót run all the way to Kirus. He was assuming that Kirus might take this advantage and use it so he might try to prevent Andrew from getting to the sword if so he would probably run towards it too. So before Andrew even got there he began to slide on his side against the ground and as he did he would pass by the sword and pick it up.

Now if Kirus would run too Andrew would probably slip right past him or into him causing him to fall but he knew one thing and that was he would get to the sword before he did. Now if Kirus didn├óÔé¼Ôäót go after the sword Andrew planned on still sliding right past him but not as far. He would probably end up right behind but as he would slide past him he would swing the blade at his ankles.

Then once He was past Kirus he would jump to his feet and turn to face Kirus and if he did end up right behind Kirus he would swing his blade at Kirus├óÔé¼Ôäós back or well around the middle of his back because he half expected Kirus would turn to face him quickly again. He would then go into a flurry of attacks all being aimed at his shoulders with the classical sword play of hitting from side to side so he would be swing left, right, left, right continuously though in the middle of this he would make a low swing for kirus├óÔé¼Ôäós left leg.*

*Kirus made a mental note about Andrew "shedding a few pounds" before running forwards.*

*In the instant that Andrew had begun to lean back so that he can start his slide, Kirus flicked hisnow fast swinging sword towards him. The sword however wasn't aimed directly at Andrew, but on the path he would be sliding, just off to the side but next to and before the sword. The sword impailed itself into the floor, sharp edge facing Andrew, the distance between the two swords too small for Andrew to pick up either sword without cutting himself. With lightning fast reflexes, a second after he let go of his sword, Kirus dashed towards the two swords, moving faster than before, leaving a very slight, blur at his back. He dropped to his knees as he got close to the swords, leaning backwards towards the ground. If all went well, he'd pick up both swords as he passed Andrew, and propell himself back to his feet, using the sword impaled in the floor to vault himself in the air and land on his feet, facing the now past Andrew.*

*Well this guy was good but Andrew as better at least in his own mind so when the sword impaled itself into the floor he would kick out at the flat part of it before he would pass it though he made sure to aim the just below the guard so that he would send it flying out of the ground and out of his way. Then with the sword out of his way Andrew continued his slide picking his fallen sword up but now not sliding as far as he had planned on. So when Kirus would slide onto his knees Andrew would still be slightly moving so he would spin on his side aiming to kick him in the back.

His spin would take him past Kirus though just barely so he would roll backwards to gain a little bit more distance. He would now have a sword and Kirus├óÔé¼Ôäós sword would be off to the side so now he was the one without weapon giving Andrew the advantage. So he would take this advantage and lunge forward at Kirus expecting him to face him with some brilliant plan as he had shown to be able to make out of nowhere. As he would lunge at Kirus he would bring the blade down at Kirus├óÔé¼Ôäós left shoulder and the at his right thigh only aiming to cause minor cuts.*

*Kirus narrowly avoided the kick, watching Andrew's foot fly past his face as he slid past. Twisting his body, he rolled sideways before standing on his feet, sideways on to Andrew.*

*Now Kirus was starting to get annoyed. It was his fault for playing around that he ended up without either of his swords. Now Kirus had three choices. One, face Andrew bare-handed. Two, try and take back his swords. Or three, use the rest of his arsenal and incapacitate Andrew. With this practically being a mere training excercise, he wished to avoid the third option. Finally deciding to face Andrew bare handed, Kirus steeled himself for what he knew would end in pain, for both of them.*

*Copying Andrew from earlier, Kirus removes his outer clothes, that being his cloak, projectile pouches, and any other items that would weigh him down.*

*It would only be now that Andrew would be able to see just how slender Kirus is, almost that rivaling the slender of a Kaminoan. Bandages were covering his entire upper body, even up into his mask. Kirus' long silver hair hung down to the squarely his back, gleaming like liquid metal in the room's light.*

*Kirus limbered up, and then stood facing straight at Andrew, holding no stance. Regardless, Andrew would find it extremely difficult to find any openings.*

*Andrew was actually pleased with himself in besting Kirus for the first time in this fight and it was actually not in a test of strength. Now it was just down to the both them and well two swords to be honest and this meant Andrew could stop playing around. Yes it was true he was playing around at least only a little bit because he was untrained in this style of sword so he had to improvise with his moves but now with Kirus having no weapon and Andrew having two he found no reason to continue like this.*

*Probably without warning Andrew tossed the sword he tried so hard to get over to Kirus obviously saying to in his speechless way of talking that it was a fair fight Andrew was looking for. He then drew his own sword from where it rested on his back and held it in his ready stance the same one he had used in the beginning of the duel. This time he would let Kirus make the first move as if they were starting all over but in a more serious way.*

His admiration of the arch that led into the academy was dwarfed by what he felt now, as he stepped into the Duelists' Circle. He broke away from the group for a time, strolling through the area with one hand on his naginata and the other periodically adjusting the cloth around his head. It seemed that they catered to everyone here. Malystrix's awareness picked up shooting ranges, a rack filled with various vibroweapons, a small circle set with meditation pillows, and much more.

Stopping as noise reached his ears- the clanking of steel against steel- Malystrix stretched out his senses until he discovered the source of the noise: two men, wielding blades, had taken up residence in one of the melee circles. Pouring more focus into his Force Sight, Malystrix picked out details about the two men, and then altered his course to take him closer to the two combatants. The ferocity at which they were going at things suggested that this was no simple sparring match, but he sincerely doubted that the caretakers of this facility would allow an unauthorized duel to carry on for too long. Perhaps there was something to be gained by the winner, then?

With a shake of his head, Malystrix moved closer to the raised platform, taking a position by the man known as Azazel. At the back of his mind, an idea was forming for the man, but for now he remained silent and watched the battle taking place.

*Kirus flicked his sword up into his hand using his foot, holding in an odd three finger grip near the hilt with the sword in a backhand position. He stood partially sideways on to Andrew, just staring. After a while, Kirus' outline would begin to blur. Planning on trying to end the fight in the next series of attacks, Kirus was bobbing up and down on his feet, kind of like a nervous twitch, barely off the floor when he dropped back down, and repeating the bobbing motion again. He knew his muscles would hate him for this, but he'd had enough of this fight. All of a sudden, Kirus seemed to stop vibrating, simply standing there for a moment before vanishing. What had actually happened was Kirus had begun his charge, leaving only an after image that stayed for a second. He charged round in an arc to Andrew's right, much faster than he had been moving throughout the fight, aiming to get in close to Andrew from behind. Once behind, he attempted to slash Andrew horizontally through the middle, planning on slashing him lightly but deep enough to take him out of the fight. He was still moving as he did this, so if he failed to land the hit, he'd move round to Andrew's front, aiming to slash at him vertically. This attack would aim to either just make contact with the back of his blade to andrew's chin if he was still facing forward, or slice with the sharp edge along whatever side would be nearest Kirus as he strikes.*

*So this guy was fast and very fast too which the only logical explanation for a person to actually be that fast from the use of the force. This meant the guy had to be some kind of force sensitive or something because well he had to face it there was no one who could move that fast. So that would mean Andrew would have to go with what he was good at if this guy was going to go all hardcore on him like this.

You see Andrew was only slightly aware that he was force sensitive and had some practice in some things that he knew he could do in it. Sadly he had no idea if they had any such name or if they were actual force powers because well he didn├óÔé¼Ôäót know any of that stuff. One of the things he knew he could do was well he just knew when things were going to happen sort of like he saw it before it happened. The other was one he had learned to control over time and that was the strange feeling he got when around other force users.

This thing he guess you could say was like he could sense them or something well he really didn├óÔé¼Ôäót know how to explain it but he just knew where Kirus was. As odd as it would sound it was true his eyes may not be able to see him but it was like his mind could. He was sure if he told anyone this they would call him crazy so he kind of kept it to himself but that was one of the reasons he had followed those damn legends was to try and learn more of this force.*

*Before Kirus got to him Andrew raised his blade behind his back to block the first attack then as he came around he would bring it back in front of him but closer to his body to prevent it from getting inside of his guard. Now the trick to this was as he blocked the second attack Andrew would kick out at Kirus├óÔé¼Ôäós leg near the knee to prevent him from jumping over his kick this time. Also as he did this if Kirus decided to jump since at the speeds he was going at it would be hard to adjust one├óÔé¼Ôäós direction Andrew would aim a cut at his torso. It wasn├óÔé¼Ôäót a full out slash because he didn├óÔé¼Ôäót want Kirus to run into the blade or anything and well end up cutting himself in two.*

*Noticing the attack towards his torso, Kirus leaped, curling over it. It's true that he wouldn't be able to change direction normally, but Kirus was never one for normal. He planted his sword into the ground, using it to swing him round, aiming a high power and high speed swinging kick to Andrew's head. Regardless of whether or not he hit, he let his body fly through the air, over to where his second sword lay. Picking it up, Kirus looked down. He was impossibly close to the line he had carved earlier. Kirus turns away and puts the rest of his gear back on, ending the fight there and then*

*Having gotten a decent estimate of Andrew's skill, despite his use of the force right at the end, Kirus had determined that if the fight was to carry on that the secrets of himself that Kirus wanted to keep would be revealed. That was something he didn't want to risk at this point in time. Sheathing his swords, he put his index and middle finger of his right hand to his head then where his heart would be. For him, this was a sign that the battle was only half done, that they had fought with their heads, but are yet to fight with their hearts. He then headed back down to where a crowd had seemed to gather. Not speaking to any of them, he simply walked on past and sat on a meditation cushion, letting his body restore it's energy.*

*Andrew surprised that he had actually blocked the last few attacks but was shocked at seeing how much more skill this guy had. Even then with what he did next Andrew just leaned back as far as he would go and watched as Kirus├óÔé¼Ôäós feet went right by his face. For a few minutes Andrew was in shock as he had almost got hit right then and there. Once he recovered from his shock he noticed that Kirus was replacing his things and ending the fight.

Andrew now knew that this guy was a dangerous fighter and he would have to work hard to prepare himself for their next fight. Andrew only watched as Kirus walked away from the arena and once he had settled down on a meditation mat Andrew sheathed his sword. He then began to move it back to his side where he normally kept his long sword and then made his way to where he had thrown his other sword. There he picked it up and placed it onto his back.

Andrew then made his way through the crowd and just went and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed in front of him. There he was thinking about all that he had just saw and how he would of probably lost that duel if it had continued. It was true he was doing well but he was just barely keeping up with Kirus and he would of only been able to do that for so long. It was clear he needed a lot more training so that next time would be different and he would make sure that it will be different.*

*So the fight was finally over and both proved to be pretty good fighters and one of them showed an even greater skill in speed. Yet He was able to keep track of his movements the whole time mostly because he had seen faster before. Though now that everything interesting was done here and both combatants had gone their separate ways Draythos found no reason to stay here anymore.

So as Kirus had walked off the arena Draythos just watched him walk over to the meditation mats because he as making a mental note to keep an eye out for him in the future. He then turned and walked out of the duellist circle as Andrew began to walk down from the arena.*

*Pleased, Azazel clapped in a slow encore of the fight.*

"I can see already, that there are great things ahead for both of you. Truly, you fought a good duel."

*Spreading his hands, Azazel continued.*

"Now, more personal one on one questions. Primarily, what areas do YOU feel you need to improve in, as well as what skills and weapons are you interested in?"

*Again Draythos walked back into the duelist circle now very bored because there was nothing to do around here while he waited for Damillia to get the sleep she needed. So here he was again though he didn├óÔé¼Ôäót know why he came back here because obviously they were all still just learning so he might just beat them senselessly if he got into a duel with them. Well there was always the chance that he could see another good duel between some of the students here.*

*From where he was standing Andrew looked over at Azazel as he spoke to the both him and Kirus about their duel. He was glad to see that he was pleased with their skill and that he had actually put up a good fight. As for his questions they were to simple because Andrew knew where he had to improve thanks to Kirus he saw he as way to slow in his fighting. Though the second question should of been obvious that he was interested in bladed weapons whether it be swords or whatever you gave him.*

Well I├óÔé¼Ôäóm still to slow at fighting and I like my bladed weapons thank you very much.

*Draythos had been keeping an eye on Damillia through the force making sure nothing happened to her since he couldn├óÔé¼Ôäót be there with her. So far everything had been fine with her and it seemed that she was sleeping peacefully. So all he had to do was wait for her to wake up and until then he was standing here listening to one of the instructors at the academy teach his students that were here. Personally he found it very boring because he was already an accomplished dueller because of his days as a sith warrior.

He was starting to think that he could use some sleep too because he was getting so bored that was until he felt a sudden surge of fear from Damillia. This quickly caught his attention mostly because for years he had drawn power from people├óÔé¼Ôäós fear but it also meant something might be wrong with her. So Draythos just suddenly turned and ran out of the duelist circle and headed for the medical center to see what was wrong and this time he didn├óÔé¼Ôäót care what that man had to say.*

*Having finished resting in his medatative state, Kirus gracefully rose to his feet. He knew he still had a lot to learn, and a LOT more experience to gain. He sat himself down on a bench next to where the man he assumed is supposed to be teaching is stood, patiently awaiting for whatever lesson they are to be taught, if at all.*

*Silently, Dante walked into the Duelist circle. He was, to most people, a bizarre sight; polished black boots, white tomuon cloth pants, a longsleeved and high collared shell spider silk shirt, over which he wore a double breasted long sleeved tavella cloth doublet with gold trim. What was truly startling though, was his physical appearance. Blue skin, accented by dark blue - almost black hair, was made all the more garish by the white and gold clothing he wore. This, combined with ambient glowing red eyes, made him one of the more...unusual sights in the galaxy.*

"...Ready to begin?"

*Arching an Eye, Dahnte smiled, and turned to move back towards the medical room.*

"Perhaps later."

*Having fallen asleep during the fight Rhevenge missed the action, but as far as his options went sleeping beat eating everyone else in the dueling area.

Tossing around a bit in his sleep, the feline male jerked awake as his stomach gave a rather loud growl. Shaking his head, his mane tossing around, he rose from the ground and set off in search of food. He'd test his mettle against the others soon enough, but if he did so on an empty stomach he'd fail to impress.*

*After a long trek up the mountain Rhayth finally made it to the academy and he slowly made his way towards the great doors of the main building. From what he could see the academy was a huge building probably made to house many students but from what Rhayth could see the grounds were a bit empty of students. Perhaps this academy being in such an isolated area had not seen many new comers or perhaps everyone as inside training. No matter what the reason was Rhayth continued to make his way towards the building wondering if there was anyone here.*
