Actually it means that the answers were solid as any questionable areas were covered before the questions were asked.

Eitherway, i'm ready to go.

My only questions are of the beginning status of all our characters. A room with a simple bed, white clothes kinda thing. Our normal apparrel? And will our belongings be later accessible?

From what I understand, it's a stasis pod type beginning and yes to our accessories being available later on.

Shall we get this long overdue shindig rolling?

Also, is there a posting order? If so, what is it?

Hrm... well, what if we could get this jump started with a side project? Like a Season 0, Episode 1 sort of deal?

Basically what happens before the characters get transported to the ship? No need to go into the details of how they get there- it could be something as simple as getting knocked out or seeing a blinding light/hearing a jet engine roar...

That's exactly what we need. Some sort of free write with very few rules/little planning, just to get us warmed up.

I don't have a lot of time but I'd be happy to try to kick something off. It couldn't make things any worse! ;)

So basically like one of those 5 minute teaser clips they put online before a new series?

Hell, there's nothing in the rules that says we can't interact with each other beforehand, either.

After all, we wake up with amnesia.

Nice work --- but is this something we want to show off publicly? I was more imagining a private space to "practice" our characters. Maybe it doesn't really matter. Not sure it changes what I'll write.

I've tried to place a disclaimers, so it should be fine to 'practice', however i can try and sort out a more private area here for you to do so if you so wish.

Treat the topic like a dress-rehearsal and I like the idea. Especially since I need to flesh out my role a bit.

Kirus good idea, I like it. Everyone post there to sort of state what your character is up to prior to the start of Legacy. Don't reveal too much.

I've been thinking about the different ways we could have ended up on the ship. I'll throw them up this weekend in a closed poll to see what you all think. The winner is what we'll go with.

Lastly, I'm very sorry I haven't been around. Work has been a nightmare for the past month or so, and I assure all of you that I'm making a conscious effort to be here more.

Here's the deal, things are getting started before next week. I am about to work on the opening post. There will be a posting order, I will be posting first, and we will sign up for spots after that.

The first scene I want it to be two people, I don't care who, about four posts in total give or take one or two then I will post from the Legacy profile for the "opening credits" then the scene will continue introducing three more characters...again I don't care who.

That scene will continue for I would venture to say around 10-15 posts, again we'll see. And then we'll cut to a "commercial break" (what we're doing for those I don't know)

Scene two will cut to the second group of people again about 5, again I don't care who. About the same length of time.

Right into scene three where we can either continue introducing character, we can have the two groups meet, or we can split it between the two groups and have them meet at the end...which actually sounds like the best option to me, cut to commercial break.

Scene four, figuring out who everyone is...well at least what we can and discovering that not everything in the ship is accessible to use just yet.

Scene five, discovery of what what's going on, I'm thinking a nice big window.

We'll figure the rest out from there. I think a good stopping point per episode is 60 posts, that's three pages, again give or take a few.
