Re: Medical Facilities

Fen sat at a distance and watched the unnerving sight of Galen smiling and humming to himself as he went about his work. He had demanded that the rybcoarse to be used be treated with a solution of his, first. He had refused to allow anyone else to apply the strange, paste-like, liquid. So now, Fen sat, irritated at the situation. He was anxious to continue this project, to revive a dead man and bring him back stronger while at it. But now the timeline was at the whims of a psychopathic Force user, and Sith Alchemist. The sooner Galen finished, the better.

Galen stood at a table, meticulously working on the rybcoarse fibers that would replace some of the damaged muscle and strengthen the rest. Dipping them into his solution, a liquid crystal polymer, and then making sure that it was coated evenly and thickly. This would provide another layer of protection within the body itself, just like the shell spider silk would greatly aid in diminishing any damage once it was woven into the skin. Galen had found these shear-thickening fluids to be very useful in his work. He had yet to perfect a way to introduce such a fluid into living cells without causing severe damage to the cell function. But with every setback, he came closer to completing the task. He wouldn't be using such a method on Praeletum though. This coating would be quite sufficient....
