Dovin basals manipulated gravity, pulling and pushing against the elements as it propelled the yorik-vec out of Lwhekk's naturally formed gravity well. Once free of obstruction, a command was sent via cognition hood to the Bleeding Orifice's darkspace drive. The navibrain calculated a course back into the heart of infidel space then sent the bio-data on to the ship's living engines. A rift was opened and the organic craft was forced through, warping to light speed and streaking out of the system in a brilliant flash of light. Following its departure silence renewed.*
