Moff Palace
*Sybegh Rekkon proceeded to enter the Moff Palace, a pair of Echani Warriors on either side of him as he strolled right through the front doors of the Palace and into the interior rooms. The pair of Protectors marched ahead of the Grand Moff of the New Imperium, checking each hallway before their charge walked past.* *Once a good deal into the Moff Palace on Dubrillion they began to slowly see the small groups of Politicians mingling around in small acloves discussing the planets political aura and other small meager events. Sybegh saw, first hand, how the residence of the King had been turned into a twi'lek house for the Cities low-level politicians and other Governmental aides to wander about, gawking at the positions and status of those so much higher above them.*
*Finally, he and his Echani Warriors found themselves waiting in a private alcove on the fifth level of the Palace. Set apart from the larger portion of the Palace, this wing held the private rooms for the King, including the Study Sybegh and his guards were about to enter. One opened the door, entering first with his rifle half-raised in readiness. The other took a stance outside the door, rifle fully raised, waiting for someone to ambush them - in case they did. No one came, and soon after the door closed did the Echani resume a more passive stance of attention.*
*Within the room the other Warrior took a similar position beside the door as the Grand Moff moved farther inward to speak with the King of Dubrillion and Superlaser City. Sybegh, dressed in an Imperial uniform, stood out from the fancily dressed King, who wore robes of finery and jewels from across Dubrillions surface. Opening his hands in surprise, the King bellowed loudly upon finding Sybegh standing in his study.*
"Ho, ho! Grand Moff Rekkon, please have a seat. Welcome to Dubrillion!"
*The hefty King threw his hand out, finger extended to point to a lush chair in front of the over sized desk that dominated a grand portion of the Study. Lined in red oak wood and possessing expert craftsmanship on the handles and legs, the chair was more fit as a piece of decoration than to be sat in, yet Sybegh sat as instructed. He was here to make nice with the King and his Council, only to sway them over to the New Imperium.* *As he made himself comfortable in the ornate seat, Sybegh could feel his starched uniform crunch and crinkle as he bent and folded into the chair. Having spent the greater portion of his life in the military, possessing a clean pressed attire was one of the most important things to an Officer, especially one of the magnitude that Sybegh had now found himself. From the very low levels of the Navy, an Ensign, to the rank of Grand Moff. All because of one friendship, Sybegh thought as he remembered Kaiden's involvement in his advancements through the years.* *Returning his attention to the King, Sybegh brought a faked smile to his face and chuckled through his teeth.* "My good King, how are you? How fares Dubrillion?"
*The next hour was spent bantering back and forth with pleasantries neither one of them really had time for. Yet, as dictated by their positions they both went through the motions of introducing themselves and explaining how each one of their groups was faring. Sybegh spoke lengthy on the goals of the Imperium while Drayen talked heartily about the people of Dubrillion and his fears of being unable to protect them against harm, especially with a galactic war on the the verge of occurring.*
*The Grand Moff proposed Dubrillion rejoin the New Imperium, like they had done so before under the Phoenix Imperium. The King held his tongue and thoughts for now, waiting to speak with his Council before deciding. The two parted ways after long talks in the Study, agreeing the meet the same time the next day.*
