The freaking little jerk. She'd just taken one of the few remaining escape pods, and now, standing quiet annoyedly at the closed hatch that had almost sucked herself out into space, the thin frame of a brown haired woman stood, peering through the glass at the drifting sphere of metal. Ah well, the guys on this ship would die anyway. Their cargo did not belong on this planet.... or anywhere else for that matter. And this particular woman was going to see to---- Did someone really just grab her shoulder. Eyes would narrow if they had of existed. ALl she saw was darkness, and all she heard were muttered, pointless threats.
I'd advise you to let me go, if you want to die with your hand in tact.
Arrogant laughter? really? What state of mind had this man's brain descended into? With out so much as a movement, the girl reached out to the ever present cords of the force, and mentally began to twine them around the pilot's body, tightening them ever so slightly with each passing second.
You're not listening to me. I'll repeat myself. I said, I would advise you to let go if you want to die with your hand in tact.
Count to ten. She'd been spun around now, and the man was peering down at her smaller frame. She could feel the muscles in his pudgy? yes, pudgy face, as he realized she was wearing a blindfold. The scars that crossed her face was no comfort either. The hand, promised to be lost before the man's death should he not comply, thudded to the floor and the flash of a small dagger showed itself as the woman slipped it's clean edge away.
Oh stop screaming. You're an adult. I've been here for the past two days now. Certainly I've been no trouble... at least, not as much as the little girl. I'm surprised you let her beet you so quickly.
The fallen pilot released the bloody stump that was once his wrist, and grabbed a blaster from his left side...that hand still being in tact. Red beams of energy carved their way through the air, aiming for the woman's center...but she wasn't there anymore. She was behind the man, already walking down the hall to in the direction of another cargo bay, another escape pod.
Saw that coming about 20 minutes ago. You should be faster. May the force be with you...where ever you go in the netherworld.
Promptly she ran into the second pilot, who, looked quite startled. The woman's face became shocked, frightened, falsely of course. But it was absolutely convincing, especially with out eyes to betray her.
You're brother is bleeding in there! Someone cut him! He's hurt! He's dieing! Hurry!
She gripped the other by the arms and shook him violently while shouting. The poor startled man simply nodded, muttering something else that she didn't really care enough to narrate, and dashed around her, back down the hall and toward his fallen comrade.
Idiots....
She really had no respect for people who broke rules anymore. Fate punished them, and she had become not only Fate's mouth, but it's hands, and feet, and sword...at least right now. And finally a secure escape pod.
Because Even Anna didn't like the vacuum of space. it was horribly uncomfortable.
Thanks for not tricking me again...
She muttered as she climbed into the escape pod, and used the force to press the few buttons needed to jettison the thing away from it's host ship.
Sure, she'd watched Morgan for the whole duration of the trip. Yea, she'd seen the child battling for her life against the pirates on board. Certainly she could have aided her vastly. But she didn't. First of all, it was a little amusing to watch a little girl womp on some grownups. Anna knew she'd be successful without her interference. But the most important reason she'd not bothered with the situation was, the chapter in the book she was reading was far too good to put down, unfold herself from her hiding corner, and actually do something about a situation she knew would work out happily.
And she didn't need to be a Seer to know what was about to happen next. This stupid pod would crash into some kind of boggy lake, sink, she'd probably almost drown.... but the distant sound of an exploding ship would be wor----yea, there it was. Peaces of metallic depries short in all directions, and one , rather violently struck the escape pod Anna was in. With out warning, it began to tumble through space. With her luck, she'd probably miss the stupid planet, bounce off the atmosphere and fling herself out into space.
Na, there would be no story if that happened. With the white hot fire of atmosphere entry, the young, blind Seer careened toward the surface of one of the richest planets in the force out there.
maybe....the whispers wouldn't be so loud here.....
