Hanging Moss Village

*The squad commander raised his eyelash at the mention of the Jedi Shadows, looking over at his 2IC. ~Enemies of the Jedi Shadows, hmm~ he thought. ~Perhaps we should dispose of them~*
*His 2IC had similar thoughts on his mind, with one exception. ~These soldiers had been abandoned, and couldn't have much fight left in them. Perhaps, if they were fortunate enough, the soldiers might even be persuaded to switch sides...~*
*After a few exchanged glances, the 2IC survey trooper spoke.*

"In that case, you should come with us, back to base. Perhaps we can sort something out there."
*The commander nodded, satisfied with his 2ICs diplomatic approach so far.*


*Meanwhile, the lone trooper approached, and spotted Cap and Buster. He called out to them, aiming his weapon at them.*
"Freeze!"

*Right at the corner of the village, was a hut, it was dark. It was Chirpa's hut. It was also the home of the ewok mafia. Which, ran a network of operations throughout Endor and also out into the galaxy. They, were ruthless and cruel but he was able to sneak stuff through. Smugglers and spice and slaves ran through the ewoks hands.*

*Waves begin to travel into space, permeating the atmosphere, their transmission becoming open, more data crossing through the sky as it is picked up by a long range, deep space receiver. A voice can be heard, slightly devious and energetic voice can be heard.*

:: Encryption key Alpha Sierra Delta, Authenticate. Code Zero Niner Mike. ::

*There was a slight pause before the person on the end of the transmission spoke again.*

:: This is Avenger, we have confirmation of set plan Kilo. We're ready to proceed with that. Requesting direction, please advise. ::

*The boss responded with a Munyip on his shoulder*

:: Avenger, get your choobies here. I have big mission for you. Someone is kriff up my business. Its not cool. And, I dont want to deal with this nemoidian. I want to make her cry and stop kriff with us. ::

*Hakai chuckled as he listened to the enraged little ewok. He smiled before he reached down to his mic. He clicked a button and responded rather aptly.*

:: Avenger, Solid Copy. Current Objective understood and compliant. I'm Oscar Mike. Will be there soon. Request you send landing coordinates. Avenger out. ::

*Chirpa sent the coordinates*

:: Hit normal speed and enter into atmosphere. You have clearance. If trouble say you are going to see an ewok shaman about the future. ::

*A Dynamic Class Freighter comes in low over the village, it's loud engines rustling the leaves and branches as it passed overhead. It circled around and came back lower, weaving through the trees and landing in a clearing. The loading ramp fell to the ground making a deep thud as it hit the earth below it. From within, Hakai emerged. Black BDU's hugged his frame, his black commando boots had been modified, blades were in the soles, horizontally for climbing trees, as well Hakai had managed to round up some greaves and gauntlets made for climbing.*

*His eyes flicked to a large hut up in the trees, it seemed to be where the transmissions must have been coming from, no other structure would be able to house such equipment. Much like a spider, Hakai began to climb a large tree, making his way to the top, driving the blades from his greaves and gauntlets into the sides of the tree, propelling himself towards the latticework in the trees.*

:: Avenger. Proximity close. Please redirect. Large structure at 12 O'Clock, is this the target structure? ::

*He continued to climb, landing silently on the platform around the large structure, creeping to a window he could see a small Ewok with a com link in his hand. This couldn't possibly be the right one...*

*Typically Hakai could recognize one ewok from another but, it had been a long time since he'd been here and so his memory wasn't what it once was... he somehow imagined that Chirpa, his contact, was much taller than he was and so... he was not impressed with this Ewok standing inside the hut. No matter, Hakai creeped around and silently managed to get atop to one of the open windows on the ceiling.*

*Taking a silent breath, he jumped high into the air and descended right through the window landing silently as a cat behind the Ewok. He smiled as he spoke.*

"Avenger is now present!"

*Hakai chuckled as he had spoken close to the Ewok's ear and he was certain he hadn't heard him come down through the ceiling.*

*Meanwhile, at the hut amongst the ruins of the Hanging Moss Citadel base, the Night Jedi survey troops waited to see the reactions of the Sith troopers to suggestion of heading to the Night Jedi base.

Also, the lone trooper stood facing the two other Sith soldiers in the woods. He kept his weapon trained on the first man, and gradually advanced toward them. He cautiously reached for his commlink, while making sure to keep his weapon focused on the trooper ahead of him.*

=Bullseye=
*Bullseye nodded at the soldier, then motioned for Ike to come out of the hut, signaling that everything was clear.*

=Ike=
*Ike came out of the hut seconds later, his rifle lowered at his side, showing no hostilities.*

=Bullseye=
::We'll agree to negotiations if you leave our captain and our heavy weapons specialist unharmed and allow them to regroup with us.::

*Further in the woods, Buster had now aimed his rifle at the soldier, but Cap quickly stretched his hand over to lower it, then raised his other hand, weaponless, to show he was not hostile.*

=Cap=
::Hold your fire, Buster! Don't shoot unless I say so!::

=Buster=
*Buster nodded, then slowly lowered his rifle.* ::Copy that - with all due respect, Cap...he's about to shoot at us.::

=Cap=
::I don't care. We don't gain anything by starting needless firefights with unknown assailants.::

*Back at the hut, the squad leader's comlink blared to life, almost immediatly after the squad leader had finished speaking, carrying the voice of the junior soldier.*

=Bullseye=
::They went hunting for food. They just radio'd their position and informed us they'd be heading back. They should be nearby.::

*Soon, the other half of the team rendezvoused with the renegade trooper. They moved in toward the two Sith Soldiers, and one of the men, with rank markings identifying him as a sergeant, instructed the two soldiers to follow him back to the hut. The rest of the small team pointed their weapons at the two men to make sure they co-operated.*

*By now, the surveying team had rounded up all four Sith Soldiers; and they awaited a transport to take them back to base. An AT-OT marched up as close as it cold get to the hut, and the sergeant instructed the four to get aboard.*

OOC: For now, it'll be easier if I RP these four guys on my main profile - they won't be part of Zulataan's army for much longer anyway.*

*The four soldiers were eventually reunited and surrounded by the other forest troopers. They took not of the walker that was heading towards them.*

*The sniper nodded to his commanding officer as he and the heavy weapons specialist rejoined them.*

=Cap=
*The captain looked around and observed everything that was going on around them.*
::Well, they certainly know we're here now. Although, this might be our ticket to some decent food and some beds, if we play our cards right.::

=Buster=
::Anybody else 'sides me thinkin' we might be better off sticking with these guys than trying to find our way off here and reporting back to the Station?::

=Ike=
::Heck yeah. I'm done with the Red Fang.::

=Cap=
::Well...:: *The captain continued to actively scan the situation...* ::We're not making any official decisions right now - at least not until we can talk to whoever's in charge of these guys.::

=Bullseye=
::Cap's right. We are technically prisoners right now. We aren't exactly in any position to do a whole lot of negotiating.::

*Finally, the four soldiers were corralled into the transport.*

*The rest of the Night Jedi men also boarded the transport, which began walking its way back to the nearest Night Jedi base; the *

*With the Sith soldiers out of the way, the survey team returned. This time they could hopefully get the job done properly.*

*As they scanned and mapped out the area, they found that the Ewoks had finally returned to this area. Hopefully, they would be less violent than the Ewoks that had lived here many years ago, before the great Universe Shift.

The survey team continued on, checking out the rest of the ruins of the Hanging Moss Citadel, and the surrounding military encampment. So far, everything looked good; it would be a simple operation to rebuild and restore the base to working order.*

*The team finally completed the survey, and returned to the Research Outpost, ready to report back on the ruins of the base here, and the amount of work that would be needed to rebuild it, and they expected that a construction team would be sent out shortly; the Night Jedi were expanding once more, and they would need the space pretty soon.*

*A convoy of transports and construction vehicles arrived here, and located the remains of the previous base here. Once everything was in position, they began to rebuild, putting up various structures, including barracks, power core, mess hall, armoury, and vehicle workshops. It was a fairly large construction project, and would take a while, but eventually the base would be restored, to house the military personnel the Night Jedi would require to maintain a more active presence in the Universe.*

*The construction was now well under way, and the area now began to look like a base. Some of the key buildings were back in place, although they were running out of materials by now. A request was sent back to General Foom to secure some more supplies.*
