Re: Open Terrain

*Right alongside the extensive Duracrete contract mines, Corellian Engineering Corporation mines continued to spew forth their own low but sustained level of ore, to be sorted and processed carefully, then sent to the Selonian Shipyards for use in the limited local commercial production taking place there. These mines did not amount to a significant percentage of the total volume taken from the planet, however, as a large part of the old, massive CEC complex had been temporarily closed down or rented out to Duracrete's mining wing. At any given time, only a half dozen small pits saw any activity, and it was a rare day that more than 2 or 3 cargo shuttles left the site, bound for the watery world in the next orbit.*

*Miner continue mining, shipping ,materials off planet and to Rendili.*
*The miners continue dwelling deeper into the mines and dig out vital resources needed for Duracrete Technologies, of which would support all of their needs.*

Re: Open Terrain

*The Corellian Engineering Corporation mining operations continued to grow and expand, while still on a small scale, as new teams of miners, engineers, and analysts were dispatched across the planet's unpopulated areas, scouting locations, testing them with core samples, and erecting new mining rigs at the most promising sites. At the same time, the existing mines were reorganized and modernized with new equipment, and as the months went by, they began to pool enough ore for the refineries to justify the dispatch of a new convoy to carry the ore home to the Corellian system and process it further. Orders were placed by the various shipyards in the Corellian system, as word went around that the previous year's stores of ore and other resources was quickly being exhausted. With many new CEC projects in the offing, as well as a plane to create several new fleets for the Navy of the United Federation of Free Worlds, CEC decided that it was past time to get serious about mining again, and began making arrangements for cargo convoys, guarded by a handful of starfighters, to begin making the rounds of the various mines and bringing home the stores that had been building up for several months while CEC worked its way through what had been an excess of materials.*

Re: Open Terrain

*A small convoy of military engineers and cartographers flew across the southern terrain of Tralus, noting and mapping small details of the unfamiliar terrain, so as to augment the satellite maps that already existed of the planet. Every few years, it was customary to conduct such a review, so as to familiarize themselves with geological and seismic changes that were occurring on the planet. All relevant information is fed back to the UFFW's military mapping agency.*

Re: Open Terrain

*A mixed party of humans and Selonians gathered along the western coast of the Sea of Jarad, preparing their harpoons and readying their nagaks for their yearly hunting party. The stabmen were looking forward to once more testing their skills agianst the wits of the ancient sea-dwelling styanax. It was soon to be mating season, and Tralus' traditional hunt, originating in a time out of mind, was about to commence.*

Re: Open Terrain

*The Sea of Jorad was alive with dozens of the wide-hulled, oared wooden vessels known locally as nagaks, as the annual styanax hunt reached its peak. Stabmen, armed with lethal harpoons crouched in the bow of each ship as the vessels skated noiselessly across the water, fixed their eyes motionlessly on the undersea landscape. It wouldn't do to attract unnecessary attention from the crafty, serpentine kings of the undersea. Most stynax would flee to the depths to hide, but some of the largest of the ferocious, armored creatures had been known to fight back with their jaws or their stingers. Selonian and human stabmen kept mental track of the only score that really mattered --- which species had the biggest kill. It was tradition, and they loved the friendly competition.*
