[narration:2yfoi26a]Xeonon glanced quickly at Exitus, was he serious did he really want him to kill all these peopl? It went against everything he had been taught and believed. A cold sweat started on his back but another thought quickly came to mind. These people were willing to take up arms to defend themselves, what would stop them from starting a long war that would claim the lives of of many more.

Walking up to the woman who first surrendered he took the Imperial Heavy Repeated and pulled the trigger as the bullet entered her skull she fell backwards the baby flew into the air, Xeonon caught the baby mid air and held it in his spare arm.[/narration:2yfoi26a]

She was the first to surrender, to ONE man even after she took up arms to stop him. That kind of wavering loyalty will NOT be tolerated by us.

[narration:2yfoi26a]As a hush lulled over the crowd many people considered picking up arms but thought better of it, most were cowed and did not wish for their lives to end. Looking behind him Xeonon spoke in a barely audible whisper.[/narration:2yfoi26a]

Re: Ravelin

*As I walked passed Xeonon and brushed my mind against his to tell him my orders, I felt the eyes of Victoria upon me and looked in her direction. The moment I felt her mind connect with mine, I figured she was cautious about how easily the people surrendered and accepted the Empire's laws here. Honestly, she was right. The 'defenders' of the capital building had given up too quickly. With that in mind, I knew something else must have been up their sleeves. Maybe while the woman bowed before me, there was a red laser dot trembling on the back of my skull. Maybe there was a secret airstrike coming once I get a far enough distance away from the center of Ravelin. Either way, this was the birth of the Solar Empire and nothing was going to slow it down. A smirk danced across my lips as I heard the blaster shot and the sound of tearing flesh from behind me. The crowd gasped sharply as the body slumped against the ground. But that was it, no more blaster fire came after that single shot. With the smirk still puling at the corner of my lips, I turned my head toward Xeonon just as he whispered in my direction.*

"Very well. You are in charge of enforcement here within Ravelin. Get some drafting going. I want an army to defend this city in two days' time. Also, get some labor force together. We are building the palace here."

*While his majesty the Emperor and his trusted servants delegated their authority and declared the new order, Gabriel was directing the occupation from the bridge of the Hermes along with Colonel Graff, the commanding officer of the vessel.*

"Reports are coming in sir, our troops are proceeding without resistance though the people seem... apathetic? About our presence." *Said the Colonel as he frowned at the viewscreen. The middleaged human male could not touch the force as Gabriel could, he could not feel the fear and uncertainty within the populace... They were intruders, rightful lords of the planet, but intruders to these people nonetheless.

Gabriel turned and placed a reassuring hand on the Colonel's shoulder.*
"Fear not Colonel, the people simply have a hangover, soon they will become sober and realize that our presence is neccessary, essential and they will remember their heritage and cheer for men such as yourself."

*A lone AT-TE plodded through the streets of Ravelin, it's story was being played out by Gabriel's military forces across the planet... The AT-TE was escorted by two squads of Stormtrooper, marching to the sides of the vehicles to protect it's flank... An officer armed with a megaphone stood atop the Tactical Enforcer and spoke...* :: Citizens of Ravelin please remain calm, this is a peaceful occupation. True Imperials should rejoice that the Empire has returned to make this world the crown jewel in a new Empire, your empire. ::

Re: Ravelin

*By the time Marauder and the rest of Exitius' ground forces made it to the capital building of Ravelin, the Sith was surprised to see that there was only one dead body laying on the ground and it had been the body of a young woman. There were people bowing before Exitius, Xeonon and his Knights, and the young woman Victoria. What exactly had happened here in just a few moments? The dead body on the ground appeared to have a gaping wound in the head and the people that bowed looked as if they wanted to take up arms and fight the Solar Empire. If they were so willing to throw their lives away to resist against Exitius and his authority, Marauder would have no problem eradicating this minor threat with a quick and violent push of Force. But as Marauder approached his Lord, he sensed that there was not danger of resistance here, at least not at the moment. With his blue eyes darting from the crowd and his Master, he reached out through the Force and bushed against his Lord's mind.*

<< "My Lord, what are your orders?" >>

*After I spoke to Xeonon about the duties he would have here on Bastion, I felt Marauder brush against the fibers of my mind, asking me what were my next orders. I turned my attention to him and watched him with my dark yellow eyes. The Dark Side of the Force continued to radiating from the center of my body as I stood there and thought about what I wanted to do next here planet-side on Bastion. With Xeonon in charge of local law enforcement, I would need to set someone up with Planetary Defense. If this planet were to ever come under attack, a planetary defense grid would have to be establish to promote security to my people. I didn't think long, however, for I sensed Victoria's eyes upon me. I spoke just briefly back to Marauder.*

<< "Get in contact with Gabriel and have him establish the defense grid around this planet. I want the entire system of Bastion under quarantine and around the clock watch. Marauder, I want you to head up the council I'm creating. I will look to you more than ever. Do not disappoint me." >>

*While Marauder nodded his head firmly and sent the news to Gabriel Solomon, Exitius turned his attention fully to Victoria and approached her. The Solar Empire had finally been established and once the Empire gained a firm foothold in this system, it would be time to expand and grow. The Sith Lord's yellow eyes fell upon Victoria as a slight smirk pulled at the left corner of his lips.*

<< "If need be, you and I will go and snuff out the resistance, if there is any to be found. I want these people to know their Emperor is a man of action, a man who will not sit back and allow disloyalty to flourish. I need to prepare for my speech to the entire world. Will you join me?" >>

Re: Ravelin

*Her eyes followed his as the blaster strike rang shrill through the air, She looked to the body upon the ground and smiled before looking back to Exitius, relieved that it had not been paranoia filling her mind.
While waiting word from Exitius, her eyes watched Gabriel and Xeonon carefully, their manner was intriguing, it was cold and detached yet not without understanding.
There was something that struck her deep down as she saw the man with the child, it was quite the poignant moment, but what had struck her more was the stirring inside her, seeing the child and the way the father had looked upon it had stirred something within her that she thought never had existed.
As her mind began to try and understand her feelings, her mind was brushed by Exitius and with it, all thought of the child was gone, she looked to him then.*

I will join you, I am here for whatever you need. you need only ask. You are my Emperor.

*Staying where they were the five knights watched Xeonon leave towards the government building. Once he was inside he wrote up a speech he would air once everyone had settled down.*

Re: Ravelin

*Darth Tortuous was busy sending heavily encrypted messages to the Imperial Forces within the city of Ravelin while the crowd around the capital building slowly began to disperse and return to their homes. The ground forces from orbit were now in control of the city and by tomorrow's time, the entire planet would be under Exitius' direct control. With the messages sent and the army now doing their assigned tasks, Marauder took the time out to stand back and gaze out to what exactly was happening. His master, Darth Exitius, had become the Emperor of an Imperial State, known as the Solar Empire. There were four heavily armed fleets in orbit, which would be coordinated by Gabriel Solomon. The law enforcement of not only Ravelin, but the entire planet would be handled by Xeonon Solomon and whatever officers he put in place to be subordinate to him. But there was one real question echoing within this Sith's mind. Would these people be loyal to a Sith? A man who was dedicated to the ideals and the nature of the Dark Side of the Force? There hadn't been a true Dark Lord of a Galactic Empire since the days of Darth Sidious. Would his master be able to live up to that reputation or would he be cast along to the wayside?*

*There were many thoughts and questions Marauder found running thru his mind at the moment, but he knew one thing for sure: His loyalty was completely Exitius'. If need be, even though his Lord would not find it necessary, Marauder would insist that he be placed in charge of making sure all aspects of Imperial law was being upheld and loyalty never wavered. Tortuous didn't want a fancy title or anything of that sort, he just wanted this chance to further the agenda of the Solar Empire in any way possible.*

*Nodding my head in approval of what Victoria had said, a smile lifted to my lips as I walked near here and embraced her passionately. My arms were wrapped around here waist and my newly brown eyes gazed downward into hers. It had been perfect. The establishment of a new empire, fleets in orbit and armies on the surface, and most of all...Victoria was here by my side. I don't know where I would be right now if she hadn't found me back on Nubia. Would I still be on that backward planet or would I have eventually returned back to Mustafar to attempt to restore somewhat of a government there? I didn't what to think about what would have happened if she didn't discover me. Instead, I was going to enjoy this moment and bask in it. I no longer worried about who's eyes were cast upon me and placed a soft kiss against her lips. I kissed her for a long moment before breaking the kiss and releasing her from my grasp.*

"Come. We have a long road ahead of us. Also, let's see if we can get you started on your training."

Re: Ravelin

*While his hands wrapped around her waist she laughed, it was a knowing laugh, a playful laugh full with effection. She looked into his eyes and wrapped her arms around his waist, her life was changing drastically and she was enjoying the ride. She was never one to plan too much ahead, it took the excitement away from it, She liked the element of surprise.
She lifted herself to the tips of her toes and leant into him as they kissed while I grasped his collar and held him to me for a time before releasing my grip and dropped to the flat of my feet...*

You do not waste any time do you?...I chuckled and began to move along with him....what makes you think I want you training me? hmmm?

*It was said in jest of course, there is no one she would have trusted more to train her, and there was no denying she needed training, more so if she was wanting to take the position within the empire as head of his personal guard. She would not ask of course, she would not wish to put him in that position.*

Re: Ravelin

*Lord Exitius rolled his eyes playfully as he turned and began to walk in the direction of the capital building of Ravelin. Too long has the throne of Bastion been without a strong Emperor to make her whole again. Too long have the people of Bastion lived without the Imperial laws that they once held close to their hearts. Now, with the Solar Empire establishing itself plantside, the population of the planet could now sleep peacefully at night knowing that their protectors had returned. Before entering the capital building, Exitius stopped at the main entrance and allowed the Dark Side of the Force to be released from his body. He had been storing Boga in his body for quite some time now and he just wanted to relax. While the energy began to dissipate from his very being, Exitius glanced back at Victoria and spoke.*

"Since you do have some experience in the dark arts, do you mind showing me what you know? I won't be too rough.."

*A smirk lifted to the left corner of my lips as I gazed upon Victoria's beauty. It had been a long time coming, but I was finally with her and expressing my feelings to her. I often wondered, though, what would have happened if I got in contact with her and warned her about the Sith attack after I fled from the system of Ziost? Ziost...I tried not to think of the events that took place on the surface. To do so was to only invoke a dark fire that continued to burn to this day. A dark part of my soul craved for the deaths of the Sith who wronged me. A death to the entire Sith Order for the crimes and pain they inflicted upon my life after I served them willingly and proudly during my early 20s. Even now I felt that small flaming growing, intensifying from the very thought of what happened to my friends and I.*

*While I stood before the doors leading into what would might become the spot for the new Solar Palace, I could feel that anger gathering into the very pit of my stomach. And to make matters even worse, I had joined the Sith in my quest for power beyond understanding. I had willingly given myself over to the Sith to gain a power that I would use to destroy the Sith who did this, the Sith who wronged me all those years ago. Before allowing my anger to hit a critical point, I took a deep breath then exhaled it slowly. I could not allow anger to control me on this day, the day the Solar Empire took control of Bastion. After running my right hand thru my brown-blackish hair, I pushed opened the doors and began to walk toward the main turbolift in the center of the main hall. People from the outside just stared at me when I entered, but I paid it no mind. Once I arrived at the turbolift, I jabbed the 'up' button with my left index finger and turned my attention to Victoria again.*

"Remember you said you would help me trim up my appearance? Well...I'm going to have to call you on that now..."

*A low feint humming noise could be heard in the distant but only to get louder as it moved closer to view. Among the many that resided in the city of Ravelin only one would be able to recongise the presence that had concealed itself away in the ship. The roaring engines screamed overhead as it made its way towards a safe place to land. This visitor was out for one thing and that was to speak with the enemy of his empire. To speak with non other than Dark Exitius himself.*

Re: Ravelin

*Xeonon worked inside the old building getting a speech prepared, after an hour of thinking it was completed. It would address both of the things that Exitus wished of him to do. As he read over it a final time he let a rare smile it, this was one of his best works. Before speaking infront of the cameras he allowed himself to dress up. Keeping the armour he took off the eye patch to reveal his fake eye and combed back his hair. The gray in the sides was not natural but came from one to many brushes with death. Finally he stepped infront of the camera that would broadcast this all over the planet.*

:: Citizens of Bastion once upon a time you belonged to the Fel Empire, an empire that brought you safety and security. Then they disappeared, and left you to fend for yourselves. Sure you have fared well with a true Emporer but I say this Emporer, the Solar Empire can provide you with the safety and security you once knew. Reajoice for we are here, and you can help us help you. Starting tommorow you will be able to find enlistment sites all over the planet where you can join the navy or army. In addition to this we will also require hard workers, engeneers and architects to build a palace for your new Emporer. ::

*He managed it on the first take without any problems. It was then broadcast all over the planet for the citizens to see.*

Re: Ravelin

*Just moments after Xeonon Solomon made the global broadcast, prolaming the birth of the Solar Empire, there was a certain buzz that seem to spread throughout the populace here in the capital of Ravelin. In this city, people took to the streets, but it wasn't in any form of protest or defiance. In fact, the people were celebrating the return of Imperial Ideals and Standards to the system. Finally, an Empire would take root on this very planet and expand out to distant stars. Bastion would be the center of it all, the crown jewel of the Solar Empire. Exitius' own army aided the local police force to patrol the city and to root out any disloyal citizens, which was surprisingly low after the woman had been slain in front of thousands. Her death signified that the Solar Empire was here to protect the interests of this planet, but would not tolerate any disloyalty. Only a handful of rebellious citizens were rounded up and hauled off to the local jail.*

*Exitius, who was appointed Emperor of this Solar Empire, was currently within the capital building along with his companion, Victoria. His plan was to head up to the executive level within this building to 'freshen' up his appearance for when he make himself known as the Emperor of the Solar Empire. After the Sith Lord pressed the button to call the turbolift down from the very top floor of the building, he turned toward his companion and rested his back against the wall just right of the turbolift's doors. Still dressed in his attire he wore back on Nubia, Exitius looked as if he was 20 years older than his current age. Hell, he felt like it too. He tried to get some rest when he made his way to Korriban with Victoria, but there upon her ship, he spent hours trying to make sense of his feelings for her and even more time trying to shake that painful hangover.*

*Exitius had to admit, he hadn't drank like that in forever and it was going to be a while if he ever wanted to make a return to that 'nightlife' he had when he was a young recruit back on Korriban. Those days felt like lifetimes ago, but he could remember them as if they were only yesterday. A deep sigh escaped the Sith Lord's lips as he leaned his head back and rested it against the wall as well. How would he appear to the people? Surely he wasn't going to appear live on the holonet looking as if he just dragged himself out of the gutter. His chin was still covered in black facial hair while the actual hair on his head was very unkempt and nearly reaching down to the middle of his back.*

*Exitius knew he wouldn't want to appear before his people looking like this, so when he got the chance, he would shave his face and cut his hair to match what he looked like just months ago. But when Exitius thought about how the people would react to seeing thier Emperor's face, he began to think about the serious consequences that would bring. If he was to 'clean up' his apperance and appear before the entire global as the Emperor, it would ruin his ability to hide within the shadows and finally make him public to all. The idea of having his actual face out there for all to see didn't sit well within him.*

*So an idea began to formulate in Exitius' mind as he waited on the turbolift to open for him and Victoria. Because he was proficient in using the Force to alter his image, Exitius would be able to create an alter ego that would act as the face of the Empire, the de-facto head of the government. If this worked correctly, Exitius would be still able to protect his image while still acting as the Head of State. With a smirk pulling to the left corner of his lips, Zalera Seraph gazed up at Victoria after hearing the doors of the lift opening up for the both of them.*

"I got the perfect plan. Come on, I'll tell you on the way up."

Re: Ravelin

*Her face broke out into a chuckle, she was unsure if it was the tone of his voice or it was a release of the stress they seemed to have been under since arriving upon Ravelin. Placing her hand upon Exis upper arm, she leant in and gave him a kiss on his cheek and stood beside him as she shook her head while looking into his eyes.*

I will show you all I know and am capable of, I promise I will go easy on you old man.

*The turbolift had not yet arrived, but Vics face told of her wish for it to hurry as she seeing the changing expressions on Exis face led to concern, not for those that surrounded them but for him himself, she had seen that expression many times since meeting up with him again and she knew then what was going through his mind, now was not the time for those thoughts, they would distract him and that was dangerous, the present was a dangerous time for them all.

Her face was a look of confusion and shock as he mentioned his appearance, she really could not believe that right here and now, he would be thinking of such a thing.
Shaking her head she looked at him...*

What? you are thinking of such a thing now?

*The turbolift dropped beside them and as the doors opened Victoria stepped inside and stood against the back waiting for him to enter and begin to explain himself as at that moment she was fearing he may have lost his mind...*

I think you really need to hurry and explain as here and now, I am ready to have your head checked over.

*That smile remained painted along Exitius' lips when he entered the turbolift after Victoria. When the doors closed behind him, he pressed the button for the Executive level and pressed his back against the doors. The Sith Lord's arms were folded against his chest as he prepared to tell Victoria what he had been thinking about when it came to keep his identity secret as he operated as the Emperor. Exitius knew it wouldn't be easy picking a appearance that would command respect and loyalty from the populace, but with all the faces he had seen over the years, he could compile an appearance that would look completely different than his true self. The Sith Lord's brown eyes kept a passionate gaze on Victoria as the lift took off slowly from the main lobby and up to their desired floor. For a moment, Zalera remained silent while he thought about how he should word his thoughts on the internal security of the Empire; a role he knew Victoria wanted to take direct interest.*

"You know how I stated that I wanted to continue do my normal duties while being this Emperor? Well, I've been thinking about using the Force to create an 'alter ego' of myself, which would sit on the throne as Emperor of the Solar Empire. By doing this, I believe I will be able to be 'myself' and avoid any unwanted attention. And since I have a need for a personal security force, why don't you have the job?"

*Xeonon patrolled the square as it filled up the next day. He was a little taken back by the amount of people who had shown up just to enlist in both a militia, law enforcement or to help build the Solar Palace. As soon as the sun had risen into the sky he had expected to see a trickle of people but everyone in the city and their dog had come to sign up, so by mid day there was little to do but watch as the people started to leave.*

*Marauder, Exitius' unofficial head of the Solar Council, was overseeing the several different battalions as the army continued to patrol throughout the populated city of Ravelin. He set up his operations in a building across the street from the capital building and had quite a view from the top story. With the city now underneath the Empire's control, the rest of the planet would be in line under a day or two. It wasn't an easy task, taking control of an entire planet, but with the amount of forces put on the ground from the fleets in orbit, the annexation of Bastion was inevitable. Construction of the Solar Palace had begun and the fleets in orbit were now coordinated under the Solar Empire's Armada Divison.*

This was a critical time in the takeover, it was still the early stages and if there was to be any kind of rebellion, it would likely happen within the next couple of weeks, so our minds needed to be focused and our forces vigilant.
The more she thought of his suggestion of using an alter ego for the face of the empire, the more she liked it, it made perfect sense and provided extra security for him himself, there was one thing she did not understand and that was down to her lack of training, that was that she had no knowledge of the existence of such a power.
Her eyebrows lifted as he spoke of the position of personal security, the corners of her mouth lifted into a smile that she could not mask...[/narration:203807fr]I would like that, with you training me, I think I would be more than capable of holding such a position...and I do have a personal interest in your safety.

The idea itself I think is a very wise one, it would certainly give you that extra protection, it is just I have not heard of such power. I know of creating a doppelganger, not that I can manage it myself, but I know of its existence.

[narration:203807fr]The turbolift reached its destination and the doors began to open, Vic pushed herself from the wall of the lift and moved forward to stand beside Exi as she peered out through the crack of the lift eager to note their surroundings and any bodies that may be lying their in wait.[/narration:203807fr]
