What if you did a Star Wars story?

Been wondering this for a while, but if George Lucas and the rest of the people in charge of Star Wars approached you, asking you to introduce a unique story idea or project of yours in the Star Wars expanded universe, what would it be? Would it be a novel, a video game, a cartoon or tv episode, a comic book, etc? Chances are that Lucas himself or his people would be the final say if any ideas of yours could be introduced into the expanded universe, but for the most part, you'd be given almost complete creative freedom to do whatever you wanted in your story. So what would it be?

Personally, I quite enjoyed the , and if I were given the chance to do my own unique project for Star Wars, it would be a comic series that would set in the same timeline as the Legacy series, but seperated into several separate storylines that focused on different characters after each story arc. Like a, Star Wars: Legacy-Chronicles comic series. Each story arc would be three to four issues long, focusing on people or organizations not looked into that much in the orginal Legacy series. One arc would be focused on the Mandalorians and , another would be focused on the Hapes Consortium and Allana Solo's family, another would focus on introducing the , another would focus on introducing the , an arc on the breaking apart, another on the Yuuzhan Vong and perhaps the Bothans on them, and so on. Including a few short story arcs focused on how the Jedi order is like during the Sith-Imperial War and who runs it, a story arc on how life is like in the Gallactic Alliance remnant, one arc on the Fel Empire-in-exile, and one arc on the One Sith. Last but not least, I'd conclude the series with a "Where are they now" or "10 Years later" story arc that focuses on how the galaxy is like after the events of Star Wars: Legacy-War. Maybe see how the Galactic Federation Triumvirate is holding up and how the Sith are inflitrating or hiding within it's society.

So what do you guys think? And of course, what story or project ideas would you like to do in Star Wars if given by chance by Lucas and co?

I would like to see a larger version of KOTOR that is more like Fallout.

I wanna see some hardcore Jedi Vs Sith!! Not the odd jedi and sith once in each movie. This is Star wars you gotta have some sort of large Jedi Army against a Sith Army full of flashing lightsabers and colliding armies from each side. Most likely a movie based on Darth Bane path of destruction. The scene in the book when General Hoth and his Army face the brotherhood of darkness and Kaan erupts the thought bomb. Another scene i would deffiantly want to see in the movie is the part when Bane finds Revans holocron. It's the perfect book to be based on a movie.

Lets hope whomever directs the translation from book to movie actually gets it right.

I'd love to see a Story/Movie set around the Hundred- Year Darkness (I know of the comic, however I'd like more.) or the Unification wars (Republic)

One area that could be interesting (because it is largely unfilled) is the very early history of Coruscant, possibly including the involvement of the Taung, or looking at the Celestials and their actions/creations as viewed by the human race. It might be hard to make it sufficiently "Star Warsy" though... it would look nothing like the galaxy we know. Would there even be Jedi, or reference to the force?

I would like to see a movie of later periods of Star Wars lore. Such as the Thrawn Campaign, the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, the Second Galactic War (the series of books for that is one of my personal favorites) and Sith-Imperial War/Second Imperial Civil War (loved the comics for that)

However...I also would like to see an actual movie of the Mandalorian Wars/Second Sith War or the Great Galactic War. Or even the Sith Empire from the time of the Hyperspace War to the beginning of the Great Galactic War.

A chiss needs to be in a movie. A Thrawn movie would be the best. The first set of books...

I'd pick one of these three options, some already mentioned.

1) Movie adaptations of the Thrawn Trilogy. They may not be the best written works of literature, but they've got a damn good storyline that fits in seamlessly with the original trilogy.

2) A video game based on the Mandalorian Wars that made Revan a hero. If I had control over all the content, I'd try to include as many battles as possible, while still giving the gamer a feel of control over their own character. It would be far more linear than the KotOR games (only because the backstory to the Mandalorian Wars was established with them), but I still think it could be a very strong game if done correctly.

3) This third isn't really an addition to Star Wars, but rather a removal of content. If I could, I would take the Force Unleashed and its sequel and remove them completely from the canon universe. While they were solid games, the stories, in my opinion, conflicted with my view of Vader.

That's about it.

They also messed up Alderan. The point was that there was no evidence of involvement. That was why destroying the planet was that big of a deal.

Recently I've been getting ideas in my head based on my ideas in my first post of the topic here, and if I were to do a comic story arc that's a side story of sorts taking place in the Legacy comics, I think I'd know what I'd like to do with the Hapes Consortium arc.

I'd like it to be centered on perhaps a grandson of Allana Solo. For now, I'll just call him Hancen Solo. Or Jacen Solo Jr. Anyways, he'd be perhaps not the heir to the Hapan throne and will have a sister who instead is. He'd more than likely to leave Hapes to fight against the One Sith, and become a smuggler like his ancestor, Han Solo. He'd find the Millenium Falcon in storage as a family heirloom that has C3PO taking care of it. And tagging alongside him as well besides C3PO would be Lowbacca, who'd I'd like to have lived on to become a bodyguard of sorts to Allana's family after the third Jedi purge on Ossus. Perhaps sometime in the story arc have "Hancen" show up at Kashyyyk with Lowbacca and take up Anakin Solo's lightsaber that was left at the wroshyr tree that was carved with the face of Chewbacca. After which he'd be trained in the Jedi arts by Lowbacca to fight the One Sith with.

Another idea I have is one that would take place shortly after the events of the Legacy comics. I'd have Saarai, whom is Darth Wyyrlok III's daughter, come upon Darth Bane's holocron during her escape of the Sith temple on Coruscant. During her hiding from the One Sith, she'd access the holocron and start to learn from it. Eventually starting her own Rule of Two version of the Sith to continue it on and use against the One Sith remnants to destroy them. Perhaps even set them against each other, with them being led by Nihl, Talon, and Maladi individually.

I would introduce my character's personal storyline and my custom war for the spirit sword, a legendary artifact with a massive connection to the force.

I'd like two more triliogy movie SL. The one with General Hoth and that time period. Similar to 1-3 with the start of the war until its conclusion but include Bane in the last movie with the Thought bomb and more of a history about the JEdi vs sith. How it really started and how they separated.

My main choice though would be the The New Jedi Order Trilogy. The Yuuzhan vong war. It was the most devastating War, but it pulled everyone together. It has a little something for everyone. Luke becomes a Dad, Chewy Dies, planets are destroyed. It's like this is the enemy palpatine was preparing for with his massive warships. The rebellion beat the empire and now the "rebellion" is beating back another far superior enemy.

I'd like to write a story around the Yuuzhan-Vong war era Star Wars. Have a small family, with parents who fought for the Rebellion--the mom as a Y-wing starfighter pilot and the dad as a commando--both served at the Battle of Endor, and now live on Ithor but act as pseudo-smugglers.

Three brothers, unknowingly Force-sensitive, are excellent pilots and engineers who modify their own ships. Eventually, they are tricked off Ithor by a human replica droid created to impersonate Jaina Solo. Perhaps as a way of revenge against the parents by an ex-Imperial officer or child of a deceased Imperial...

Eventually, the brothers escape and have perilous adventures across the galaxy. Train as Jedi. Fight Yuuzhan-Vong. You know, become super-sweet.

Another story I'd like to do is look into Asaaj Ventress' background story and fresh it out a bit. To mostly help to retcon some of Asaaj Ventress' background so the stuff revealed in the Clone Wars cartoon would fit better with the Expanded Universe material.

I'd have Asaaj Ventress be the child of a couple of Rattataki criminals from Rattatak, who died when their ship crashed on Dathomir. Since Asaaj would of been the only one of the three who was Force sensitive, she would of used the Force to have protected herself unconsciously as a baby from being killed in the crash. The Nightsisters of Dathomir would then find the ship and sensing Asaaj's great potential in the Force, then give her to the shown in the cartoon to act as a foster mother. About a year, give a month or two more or less after finding her in the crash, the criminal known as who would be a close criminal associate of Asaaj's biological parents would come to Dathomir and forcefully take Asaaj away to raise her as a request of her parents in a will. Years would pass and Hal'Stead would be killed by Weequay pirates, but Asaaj would be noticed by during the pirate raid after she performed a Force push on a pirate. Years would pass, with Ky training Asaaj, and it would be explained the hair that Asaaj had in the flashback in the cartoon was an to act as a to be removed when she would become a Jedi Knight. Or course though, Ky would be killed during another pirate raid, and angry that the Jedi didn't come to help her master, would turn to the Dark side and get rid of her wig. Learning about the Force and the Dark side by herself until finally finding Count Dooku to ask him to train her in the ways of the Dark side and Sith. This way Asaaj would stay a Rattataki as explained in several expanded universe material prior to the Clone Wars cartoon to stay in canon and all the other details would be better explained.

Another idea is concerns the . If it were up to me if I were writing a new reference book for Star Wars, I would call this symbol the "Sith Eye" or "Eye of the Sith." Or the "Dark Eye" or "Eye of the Dark Side." Perhaps even make an original Sith language term for the symbol. Anyway, the eye symbol would be the equivalent of the in real life. A symbol or look given by the Sith to those to curse them with the Dark side, and be associated with the special eyes that the Sith species themselves had or those Sith followers who became strong with the Dark side. Besides the symbol, there would also be the hand gesture associated with the Sith sign, being similar to the in real life. It being in-universe a protection against the "Sith eye" if the fingers are raised up upward, or in turn give the "Sith eye" if the horned fingers are pointed toward someone. The hand gesture often used during Sith rituals and Sith magic spells. As millennia's have passed in the Star Wars universe's history, the "Sith eye hand gesture" would of made it into several other cultures in the galaxy. Most prominently the Witches of Dathomir, particularly the Nightsisters, who use the hand gesture during their own spells and rituals. Often calling it "The Shadow horns," or the "Horns of the ." The horned hand gesture would also find it's way to music in the galaxy, often thrown up by listeners of music which is played loudly, being called "Demon Horns".

More Rogue Squadron, more Legacy or NJO FIghter based books LIKE Rogue Squadron, or more books based around Jedi who are not the standard or norm, like Kyle Katarn in the early years, or Corran Horn, or Jaden Korr.

I'd want to write something akin to a series of period pieces, showing the ordinary, bystanding people who bore witness to the events of the series.

A Coruscanti fireman who gets called in to put out the blazes engulfing the capital during the Separatists' final push.

A moisture farmer reacting to the death of a friend, his wife, and their young nephew suddenly going missing.

A podrace spectator seeing a nine-year-old Human take the biggest win in the sport.

A merchant moving to evacuate Cloud City after all hell breaks loose.

The list goes ON, man.

I'd want to make a game, I think, with the graphics of TFU (or better), the control systems of the Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy pairing of the Jedi Knight series, perhaps with a few special combo-sequences thrown in like in TFU, the flight controls and starfighter combat and graphics of Rogue Leader (complete with the option for cockpit or external view modes), and a storyline set somewhere after the establishment of the New Jedi Order. I'd like to have the player-creation options of JKA, only with your own name enterable, with a similar sort of story.

And there would be vast, sprawling TFU style maps based on Yavin IV, Coruscant, A Star Destroyer, and a few dozen others besides. And Fighter missions for/connected to a load of them.

The story would include some kind of epicness in the years before the Yuuzhan Vong War, but after the Thrawn Trilogy/Dark Empire campaign - possibly around the time of the Black Fleet Crisis, a little after maybe. And your player character would be a Jedi.

And then I would add a practicable multiplayer part to the game. Maybe even a co-op story mode.

And it would be my idea of a perfect Star Wars computer game.

Edit: Oh, did I mention cameo appearances from loads of Star Wars iconic characters? If not, I meant to.
