True the internet has anything imaginable. Back to the Jedi not focusing on dark siders, The JEdi swore to protect the Republic. If darksiders don't threaten the Republic then they can practice what they want. I can shoot a gun all I want and read antigovernment literature. As long as I don't do anything about it then I am left alone.

Note- This is purely an example

The higher ups at Lucas studios must of decided to keep her around for more expanded universe stories. Granted that scene would of been a great end for her, but they obviously saw much potential in her character, which she does have. Though some of their changes to her background after revealing her to be born on Dathomir on the Clone Wars show have upset many in the Star Wars fan community.

Seems to be the route the Republic and Jedi have taken in regards to the Shapers of Kro Var[/url:1iuu9loo] (One of the many Force organizations I wish the expanded universe would show more of and get into detail).

Probably be even funner if after seeing Ventress' robe fall to the floor, it cuts to outside the ship as it travels through hyperspace or space while we hear both Ventress and Kenobi do the magic mambo. I can imagine some of the dialogue would be like...

Ventress: You Jedi scum!
Kenobi: This time we'll do it together!
Ventress: Feel the power of the Dark side!
Kenobi: It surrounds us, it penetrates us!
Ventress: The Dark side is strong with me, for I am Sith!
Kenobi: I'm getting too old for this sort of thing.

Re: They are brining Darth Maul back >.<

I digged the part of the Night Mother using the Force to create new legs for Maul (of course).

There were a number of aspects that I did not like though:

1. Maul is not portrayed like he was in the film and is no longer the reserved and stoic villain that got under everyone's skin because of it. Instead, he seems to love talking over and over again about how he wants revenge.

2. Maul and Savage Opress are portrayed as outmatching Kenobi and Ventriss when in reality it should be the other way around considering Savage has the least training out of all of them, Kenobi has an additional ten years of experience from when he faced Maul last time, and Maul hasn't been in a duel in over a decade. I found the situation a little hard to believe.

I don't think he was meant to be the same character as he once was. He was alone and insane with an obsession to take revenge out on Kenobi, and take note that Maul had defeated a Jedi Master before he was cut in two so even with all the experience kenobi got i think it would still be tough to kill him.
Didn't it say in the article that he was ressurected. Doesn't that mean a new body rather then his severed half and the robotic legs? I've read the bad choobies comics but it seems to me that Lucas is as we all famously have come to go ape Sithspit over, He is infact '[i:3t96oyj6][b:3t96oyj6]At it[/b:3t96oyj6][/i:3t96oyj6]' again.[/quote:3t96oyj6]

Indeed. In this story the Nightsisters decide it's cool to ressurrect maul, new body and all. there have been many different adaptations of "maul's return" in the comics. robo legs, the mad scientist that recovers maul's brain and makes a ghost/hologram version of maul. Cool stuff, none of it canon. if any of them should be canon it should be robo legged Maul. mainly because they could make a game out of his story.
