Re: Pit of Dispair

*A slam echoed throughout the room; while Rebellious had been focusing on his situation, the Dark Lord of Chaos had entered the room. He stood at the far wall, watching his prisoner in silence. He waited for Rebellious to notice him; he waited for the man to understand what was to come.

Rebellious had crash landed on Korriban and slaughtered several soldiers; Nexus wanted to understand what brought him to his planet. More importantly, he wanted to know who Rebellious was. The man could have been an agent for many factions.

The Dark Lord had heard whispers of new sith factions, ones that use stealth to their advantage. These groups were a threat; they didn't need an army to dismantle an empire, they only needed an agent. Rebellious could have been one such agent. Nexus was unsure.*

*The Dark Lord approached the shackled man in slow, steady steps.*

*If Rebellious looked to his right, he could see a tall stand of some sort; the top had an assortment of tools laid out. To the average man, these tools had no significance; yet to a man who knew torture, these tools were the harbinger of pain.

Rebellious would talk; Nexus was sure of it.*

Re: Pit of Dispair

*The sound of a door closing and heavy footsteps echoed through the room. As soon as the noises hit his ear drum, the groggy Sith immediately looked up to the source. Nexus was approaching. It was obvious this was about to turn into an interrogation.

Rebellious' eyes shifted down and to the right, just momentarily. It wasn't surprising to him that next to him were various tools laid out on a tall pedestal. He knew what they were. They were the tools that would be used to inflict great pain upon him. The Sith Lord had been a witness to many torture session as a student of Kashyyyk Academy. He vividly remembered watching the Jen'ari cut into a victims flesh and peel their skin back like a fruit in order to expose to an individual their own organs. It was always just at that moment when they saw a glimpse of their own intestines that they let out a horrendous scream before voiding their bowels in fear, or vomiting from sheer disgust.

Rebellious' eyes returned to Darth Nexus. His eyes that had previously been sulfuric yellow due to his immersion in the Dark Side of the Force were now their natural brown hue. His Force reserves were still void. It would take many hours of meditation to get him back to full power, but in this current situation, it was unlikely that he would even have time to breath, let alone meditate. He was also still under the influence of the tranquilizers he had been subjected to.

Even as physically weak he was now, he was still very strong mentally. Even now the Kiffar was still casting a defiant eye at his captor.*

Re: Pit of Dispair

*Defiance.

That was what lay in the eyes of the Kiffar held captive. Even in the face of doom, weakened by the sedatives coursing through his body, he was defiant. Courage, or perhaps arrogance was to blame. Neither trait mattered to Nexus, this man was a trespasser and a killer; he was a threat.

He would be dealt with accordingly.*

*Nexus reached the man, stopping three feet shy of him. He examined the man, noticing his physical features. Interesting. This would be an interesting session. Nexus kept his eyes on the man in front of him, though as he watched, he waved his left hand towards the pedestal.*

*From the corner of his eye, Rebellious would have been able to see a syringe lift from the table and fly into Nexus' open hand. When the syringe landed, Nexus wrapped his fingers around the device. He examined the tool before looking at his captive.*

"So...I am just going to give you a nice little shot to make you a little more...compliant."

*Nexus suddenly jabbed Rebellious on the inside of his right thigh, pressing his thumb against the trigger of the syringe, which sent a dose of sedatives into the man's blood stream, though not enough to knock him unconscious; it was just to keep Rebellious out of touch with the force.

Nexus waited for a moment, allowing the drugs to take effect. After a moment, he looked up at Rebellious.*

"What is your name?"

Re: Pit of Dispair

*Still he persisted to resist.

Rebellious didn't seem to be remotely concerned about his situation. That would change. It always did.*

"Oh, I believe it matters very much...I would like to know..."

*Pausing mid sentence, Nexus set the syringe back on the table. His hand hovered over the instruments once more.*

"I would like to know the name of the man who entered my planet illegally..."
*Pausing again, he reached down and gripped a crude hammer like object. He examined it for a moment before continuing.*

"...The man who disrupted a historical site..."
*Bringing the hammer up to his eyes, he examined it for a moment.*

"...The man who killed my soldiers..."

*Nexus stepped closer to Rebellious; he could smell the salty sent of his sweat saturated clothes. It tickled his nostrils, irritating him slightly. He drew the arm with the hammer back, aiming for a strike.*
"The man whose every breath breaths defiance TO ME!"

*Nexus swung the hammer suddenly, aiming for the man's lower right side; he sought to shatter a few ribs, just for some personal satisfaction.*

Re: Pit of Dispair

*The Kiffar's words rung hollow upon the ears of the lord of chaos. It was as if his mask created not only a physical barrier between his mind and the outside world, but also an emotional one. Perhaps that was the case, or perhaps it was because Nexus had never considered himself to be a true Arkanian. Neither fact mattered at this point in time; the words had no effect, and that was all that mattered.*

"That has yet to be seen..."

*The dark lord watched as Rebellious stood defiant even in the way of brutish pain. Rebellious couldn't see the smirk that formed behind Nexus' mask. Most would crumble in the face of raw brutality, but Rebellious did not. Good, that would make the experience far more interesting.*

*Setting the hammer back down on the pedestal, Nexus looked at Rebellious for a moment. Their eyes locked for a moment; the lord of chaos' ice blue eyes seemed to pierce into Rebellious' soul.*

Tell me...what do you fear?

*With the words as a cue, Nexus' consciousness suddenly assaulted the mental fortress of Rebellious, aiming to overwhelm any mental defenses. Normally this tactic would cause a great deal of concentration, how ever due to the sedatives pumping through Rebellious' veins, the task would be some what easier. The maelstrom that was Nexus' conscious pushed and hammered against Rebellious' mind, looking for a weakness...a chink in the armor.*

Re: Pit of Dispair

*The shadows had continued to follow Jud as he went further and further down into the belly of the Academy. He had yet to see a single soul, in any of the corridors he had been down. There were no students or servants, not even the scurrying of whomp-rats as Jud's footsteps echoed back to him. It was an alien sensation to Jud, having been the Lore-Keeper for the Academy for years during the Sith's initial revival into the Galaxy. Knowing how - back then - the Academy had been a bustling center for the Empire, churning out hundreds for the Galactic War that was at hand, but now... Even after the Mandalorian scum had sacked the Planet, there seemed to be no life here.*

*Jud thought this over*. "Yes, a tomb." *Jud said as he put a hand on the cold mason-work of the corridor*. "You're making this structure into a symbolic tomb... but I don't feel-" *Jud spun around instantly aware that someone was directly behind him. Both of Jud's saber's hissed to life just as a red saber came down towards his head. Jud's sabers criss-crossed, parrying the crimson blade and couled down the length of it with the speed of an expert duelist. In one smooth motion Jud uncrossed his sabers and cleaved through the saber's housing extinguishing his attackers saber before moving in further for the kill.*

*The orange light flooded the long hallway, bathing the eight cloaked figures now surrounding the Old Sith out of the shadows. The cloaked figure before Jud moved back, having been disarmed - but it was too late, the Venerable Sith was already in motion.* "No, no where to run...The dance has begun!" *Jud yelled as he continued with his momentum plunging his saber through his attacker's chest-plate. The cry of pain that came from the cloaked figure gave Jud pause for a moment. It was that of a woman. The remaining figures ignited their crimson blades and attacked Jud from both sides in silence.*

*Jud smirked as he pulled his still lit saber from the smoking hole in their dead sister's chest.* "I hate witches."
