The planet was originally taken over by Gabriel Solomon and became the HQ for his Deep Core Alliance. When overtures from the Fel Empire convinced him to become a vassal to the Fel Emperors, Gabriel ruled from Aargau as Grand Moff of the Deep Core. Over the course of the Fel Empire and the 4th Galactic Empire, Gabriel and Xeonon Solomon cultivated the Imperial spirit in the Deep Core and established a strong pro-Imperial culture. With the death of the last Fel Emperor and the destruction of the 4th Galactic Empire, the surviving Imperials retreated back to the Deep Core to form the Imperial Remnant in the safety and security offered there. Aargau became the capital of the Imperial Remnant with Chief of Stae Nicademus Delvardus being elected and ruling from there.

114 Orbital Gun Emplacements are positioned in orbit, above New Escrow. On the ground are 1 220-SIG Tactical Sensor Jamming Device, 1 w-165 Planetary Turbolaser and 1 M-68 Planetary Ion Canon and 1 SS-2 Planetary Plasma Canon.
