*They had caught him heading towards the hangars, but did not know why. Droids were sometimes stupid. Tanner had evaded them for days, if not weeks, but he was wearing out. Much of the city was damaged with them coming after him. He decided if he should die on this day, he would like to die while trying to save the people he loved, and the planet he loved.
Tanner rested for a few more hours before moving. He had shaken off the cobwebs, and he was closer to the height of his power after many years, due to lack of using the force. He moved with incredible speed, heading into the hangar holding his ship. Few guarded it...There had been casualties on both sides, and even droids had to take time to recover. He walked into his ship, up the hangar. The lights came on suddenly, blinding him for a moment before they dimmed and the ramp closed. He patted the walls.*
I missed you too gal. How about we do this planet one last act of honorable selflessness?
*His ship seemed to approve, as the AI let out several computers, all equipment to boost any signal of some sort. He took out the brain of one of the droids he had killed, and hooked it up. His ship's AI easily crushed the opposing firewalls, and began changing code, making the brain a bomb that could be transmitted into droids.
After what seemed like forever, Tanner sat drinking water from a bottle he had in the living quarters of this ship. The water was old and tasted weird, but it was good. Without warning, a piercing shriek came into his ears, and then disappeared as the transmitter went into higher frequencies.*
*Every droid that was getting a signal from the main Legion intelligence exploded, their brains overheated, all cooling systems turned off by the virus sent out by Tanner's ship. The resulting actions were quick. The biological inhabitants came out, not believing what they saw, but knowing it was true. They gathered what weapons they could, and moved on any surviving droids. They had gone through this before, they knew the procedure. They would show no mercy.*
