Open Orbit

*An ancient Neutron Star-class bulk cruiser dropped out of hyperspace and began a slow sublight approach to towards the planet, as the comm officer hailed the shipyards.*



*The ship's weapons are dormant, though it's sheilds are up, as it makes its way towards the planet. The ship is old, and battered but all systems are functioning normally.*

Several weeks in the future...

*The space traffic control scanners that had been brought back online and staffed with Clan Or'dinii naval personnel picked up the approaching Neutron Star-class bulk cruiser almost as soon as it entered the system, and tracked its progress closely. At Lt. Decker's hail, some of the tension faded from the quarantine enforcement crew. A slow stream of expected business traffic to the shipyards had been entered into their logs, as the Yagai sought to raise investment capital to rebuilt their stricken society.*

Several weeks in the future....




*The ship began to accelerate towards the shipyards, though it was moving sluggishly in comparison to most ship's of it's class, even from it's own time. The crew had been warned that the planet was under quarantine, and the captain had summarily decided that no who wasn't strictly needed for the business at hand would leave the ship with out his express permission.*

*The hypercom crackled to life aboard the bridge, as an encoded message was transmitted from fleet command in the Core Worlds. Admiral Rakata had received Goran's report, and had set in motion a wider response.*

*Realspace ruptured five times over and where mere seconds before there was nothing, now there were five warships of the Phoenix Imperium: a , a Majestic-class Heavy Cruiser, an Immobilizer 418A, a Victory I-class Star Destroyer, and an , their IFF codes newly changed from that of their former employer. Their shields were down and weapons were powered down as well, an indication that they desired no trouble.

On the bridge of the lead Star Destroyer, the Dragon's Legacy, stood Ronan in his customary way: hands folded behind his back, eyes closed, and head inclined just ever so slightly. He gestured to the comms officer who opened a channel to the planet below.*

:: Attention Yaga Minor control. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Grand Admiral Ronan Starflare, supreme commander of the military of the newly reborn Phoenix Imperium. And I am here to annex this system for the glory of the Imperium.

*He made a cutting motion across his neck with his flat hand, a signal for the officer to close the channel. Now they played the waiting game.*
