The Return of the HNN

haha no worries Xeo. most of it was Dav's already existing work, i just took one award and did some minor editing of the name plate :D

Hopefully now we can get some good stories covered in the coming months so that the reports will be nearly as good :D

Becc - gotta say; excellent work on reporting on the Sithies. Thank you mate for adding to the whole experience we strived to provide. It gave a great dimension to it all.

hey all,
please head over to the new section of the HNN. It's the start of what could one day be many player interaction sections of the HNN report.
The HNN has the potential to evolve into something truly remarkable for both players and reporters, something akin to a mix of a major news corporation mixed with what we Australian's who take public transport or live in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney know as the (some news and some light entertaining articles). With you're help, we can achieve this.

One day we can perhaps look back and go "I remember when the HNN was just a couple news stories a month" and then be proud of what it will have become (hell maybe you'll be viewing JvS on your mobiles to read the HNN report on your daily commute or getting on at work to catch up on some good news).
But in the meantime we have a few long yards ahead of us and I look forward to the hard work this will be :D

I love this idea, especially being able to look it up on a smart phone. JvS app FTW! Someone should actually develop one... [action:sisxs0wj]hint hint[/action:sisxs0wj]... HNN would be a great one to have on it. Hehe

I posted this in the JvS RP section, but I'm tossing it out here too. Lynzea Alnilam and I would volunteer up to twice a month to do a video report for the HNN....plus perhaps announcing of the 'Featured Player', and the like....

Just an idea....we can start anytime.:)

As far as a Video HNN is concerned, if people like the idea, then we will look into it being done, however it will be done by existing reporters of the HNN.

I guess that means we sign up, eh? Ill put in my application if this has any potential of going through.

So for those of you who have were following the HNN's report from last month, you will know that we are looking at setting up a player submission story area, where each month everyone gets to submit an article on what ever they like.
Each month one story will be selected and the writer will receive a little badge as thanks. Then at the end of 12 months, the HNN employee's in combination with a poll from the players will determine who will get the HNN's Guest Writer Award.
So now we want to hear what you think of this idea? This is purely for people who would like to write for the HNN but lack the time to fully commit. Plus it can also be a place for opinion pieces every now and again.
