The Return of the HNN

The first edition of the rebooted HNN is up, so head on over and check out what has been happening this .

I have a quarry as to the in universe connection of the HoloNews Network, are postings made considered to be public information from an in character perspective? If so is it all stories posted or only some? If only some how many/which ones? And if the postings are indeed considered to be made from an in universe news team then that would mean that we can use any information posted as in character information, correct?

Just me talking here for the funny of it, but is HNN supposed to be to Star Wars what CNN is to our actual news media?

If so, wonder what the equivalents of NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX would be. Best guesses would be like...

NBC (National Broadcasting Company) - GHBC (Galactic Holobroadcating Company)
ABC (American Broadcasting Company) - RHBC (Republic Holobroadcasting Company)
CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System) - CHBS (Coruscant Holobroadcasting System)
FOX (as in FOX News) - JAX (JAX News) (Jax as in this .)

Mysterious Man, as far as the HNN report is concerned, it is considered full public information. All stories posted are considered IC knowledge, as has always been the case.
For example you could use the HNN to know about the battle at Vulpter or the battle at the Jedi Temple.

Can the HHN do a news story on me and my take over of Czerka? Or a news story on Nathaniel Kosovo my and new Senator to the Republic for Honoghr

That's right ladies and gents,
With the HNN getting a new reboot, we need some new volunteers to fill in some spots in our team.
Now just to give you all a quick run down, the HNN is re-opening it's doors with a major change, instead of weekly editions, we will be doing Monthly editions, to allow our volunteers more time to find stories and gather intel, all of which will be IC information.

Rightio ladies and gentlemen,

I have made an executive decision, that will help ease pressure off the rather small HNN News Team. The decision that I have made is to begin crowd sourcing articles.

Basically when you submit a post either here or in letters to the editor (or a PM to a reporter), include a run down of the over all storyline, along with a couple people to contact. Meaning that we don't have to try find the over all plot, between all the good stuff you lot post (trust me it's hard work trying to find time to shift through all your writing).

That way we can get more articles out a month :D

I said it once and I will say it again, good lord that was pretty amazing coverage I would say keep up the good work but the ceremony is over. I wish to thank whoever made the "trophy" for us who worked on the sithies this year, it is amazing and I now have something to put in my accomplishments. Even if your news is half as good as this it will still be amazing.
