I am neither Sith, nor Mando but I am on Korriban at the moment. What do you think the chances are that they will find us and attack us because I am pretty sure all those there are more than willing to let that happen.

Well having the skirmish on Korriban was to incorporate those of you who were signed up for Korriban. I was thinking it would be your group that squares off against them on the surface.

*hops back and forth between feet excitedly*

I am TOTALLY in. With my fleet going to be needing repairs I am very up to writing an infiltration team.

I would be down for this. Obviously as a Mando.

Re: Mando War - Rethinking Korriban and beyond

Count me in, and I shall whip up the rest of the Yavin troops. We're the Jedi of Yavin IV - Superweapon take-downs after much fraught scaredness and desperate bids to find the necessary information, that's like, in our blood.

Seriously, though, this is a stunning idea. The affect it could have within the Mando camps too; Mandalorians may be warriors, they may enjoy a battle, and they may think Force Users an aberration, but Genocide of entire, majorly inhabited systems? Even with their codes of loyalty, how many are going to secretly wonder if Mandalore Intalbo hasn't gone too far? Could make for some fascinating RP on that front.

And between Dragon Squadron and Corellia's Sand Panthers (if they're in, which I imagine they will be), we've got the pre-requisite elite starfighter squadrons to hand too.

Oooh, this is exciting.

I don't know if the Yavin Corps needs more people, but I will join the Jedi side if there is room.

Re: Mando War - Rethinking Korriban and beyond

Oh don't worry....the Jedi have something brewing that will put the Mandos on their guard after Yavin. While it doesnt look like there is much in the way for Jedi in this one.....Maybe we could incorporate it into the little after-Yavin tea party I'm working on as part of that story too....hmmmm.....

*Grins wickedly*

I'll see what we can hash out. :)

Well the Jedi part would come in if the Mandos manage to steal Sin's superweapon. It will force us to work together as well as force Sin to divulge the blueprints to the thing so that it can be defeated.

Re: Mando War - Rethinking Korriban and beyond

I like playing with super weapons. Maybe J-TECH can attempt to build something to counter it and when/if that fails we jump into the massive showdown battle thingy. Even Nerds like to get their hands dirty.... If you know what I mean...

Re: Mando War - Rethinking Korriban and beyond

Could be that the first thing the J-Techs attempt is a device to counter it. When that fails, they go down a different route, and come up with something that could destroy it. Would be pretty nifty if such a thing required mounting on a Starfighter, required that kind of precision and intimacy of range to use (or maybe, if the superweapon is a suncrusher type deal, could be that a starfighter is the only thing with any hope of catching the bleeding thing). Then we have our very own, Death Star type run (either Death Star) to do against the thing. That truly WOULD make this feel like an epic Star Wars adventure.

That sounds fantastic, although I totally call joining the hunt after we invent the anti-superweapon weapon.

I'm in. This would also give me an excuse to start up the composite Jedi/Sith group to work in the shadows of the war that was discussed a while back.
