DESCRIPRION:

This is the military center of Vortex. In the middle is the Command Control of the planet, this is the place where the Shield controll, the military decisions are made, all interplanetary deeds and orders are calculated and done here, this is the WAR-BRAIN of Vortex. also, the small force shield is in this building, protecting the base from orbital and ground bombardment.
Round it there are 6 Portable garrisons, fully complemented with stormtroopers and Tie fighters. Beetween all that are the traininggrounds, barracks, armouries.
This base is the home of the Hestatii, shall be the home of the Triarii, and all other elite House of Khar troops.
Here are the Vor Militia trained, they are the spys, secret police, and ordinary police force of Vortex. they are also trained to make terrorist attacks on enemy targets, iff occopied.
the base is Octogonial in shape, with a 20 meter wall of 2 meter thick durasteel. 2 Ion cannons protect the base from orbit, and several others turbolaser, and artillery from ground attack.

*The crete landed in Fort Julii, the Base in the middle of the city. He signalled her to stand up, and walked out, psast the bridge, and then down from the ramp... and they are greeted by a long corridor of Vors with shields and Blasterhooks, as selevan is in wieve, they all fall to knees...*

*He simply walked down from the ramp, and nodded to them. signaling for San to follow, and he ealked into a large bunker complex, and took an elowator down low... he was silent... seeing if she whould talk. After arriving at the level they whanted, he led her through corridors, and came to a small room with a Holo table. He stood sideing the door, motioning her to alk in first.*

*San waited for the door to close behind her before she relaxed just a tiny bit, the walk here had been most informative, his followers had practically worshipped him. They had shown him great respect. She looked around the room, turning to him as she looked at the Holotable.*

I take it that this Holo machine has necessary info?

*Seleevan entered after her, the door closing behind him.*

"This is the fleet battle simulations room."

*He set on the holo table. A bit light came into the room, as the buttons on the side raised.*

"You have a new fleet, freshly out from the warf. Tell me your shipps classes and sizes."

*San listed her ships*

Lancer Frigates are used to send smaller ships to planetary defenses. The Lancer is useful in ship to ship combat. It is equipped with AG-2G quad laser cannons. The cannons draw power directly from the power core.

"So what you mean, is that you whant to engage... "ship to ship" with lancers?"

"Quadlasers are repidly fireing fast tracking turrets... it has little punch compared to a Turbolaser, wich means, that if you place your lancers up against Capitolshipps with Turbolasers, all you will have left is debri. What does need rapid fireing turrets, with fast tracking?"

Slow moving Turrets make it easier for x-wings to manuver around. Would the Lancers be used against faster, smaller moving objects?

"Yes my dear, it whould... You use fast targeting turrets against Starfighters... so, if we use fast targeting LIGHT turrets against Starfighters, what do we use against heavy, slow turreted ships?"

*He was now standingbefore her, looking down at her from his hight, and speaking streigh into her face... drillseargent stile.*

She thinks: use small capitol ships to attack faster ships with fast turrets etc.

You use assault fighters and bombers to attack slower ships and slow turrets.
