Re: Open Orbit

The Snarling Rancor reaches orbit of Dorin and U'lik takes mental note of all hustle and bustle but ultimatly does not care, it was an NOE affair and ultimatly did not concern him.

"Where are we going Buir?"

"Lay in a course for Honoghr"

A couple minutes later the Snarling Rancor clears Dorin's gravity well and disappears into hyperspace.

Re: Open Orbit

*The Marauder-Class Corvette known as the Shadow Demon, concluded it's patrol over Dorin. With the Triumvirate Forces on the planet's surface, there was no need for the Triumvirate Navy to tie itself up here when clearly the NOE was still actively keeping a watchful eye on the planet. With it's business concluded, the ship plotted a course for Rhommamool. After clearing the planet's gravity, the ship jumped to hyperspace.*

*The satellite array in orbit beamed the latest in-system data to the Twin Sun Station located over Tynna. It wasn't anything overly exciting, just more reports on the defense grid, supply needs, requisition requests, and trade information. A great deal of trade had been occurring recently thanks to the reestablishment of the capital city. Goods from all over the Eye's territory were being regularly delivered to meet the demand.*

Re: Open Orbit

*Just outside the planets gravity well, a dozen TIE Interceptors emerged from hyperspace. They were a part of the Famine Lord's fleet armada, performing a regular patrol of the system since the fleet was currently not engaged. It was a rare occurrence for the fleet to not be participating in some battle or another, though having auxiliary forces on standby wasn't exactly detrimental. They broke through the planets atmosphere moments later and headed for the surface where they would reload and rearm.*

Re: Open Orbit

*Unlike M'haeli, Vandelhelm, and Shili, Dorin didn't have access to an orbital platform. Instead it was monitored by a string of communications satellite strung across orbit. This actually granted the Order a great range of detection, but it lacked the firepower that came with a defense platform. That said there was a plus and negative to all in-system setups. Doin's was just a bit more spread out and less isolated than the others.*

**The Doomsday fleet drops from hyperspace and moves into a formation for a Invasion staging event.**

*For the First time since the conquest of Reecee, and Carrotos, the Doomsday fleet is almost all together. The fleet had undergone significant Refit, and Overhaul, but now it was ready. Only the Invincible was still in dry dock being repaired. All ships began checking in:*

*The Fighter squadrons, had jumped with the fleet while deployed, and began checking in, before reporting to their assigned hangers.
The bombers and the majority of the Fighters reported to the hanger of the Belphagor, which could carry 72 fighters.
The Titans each carried 4, and the Carrack cruiser could take 5 fighters:
That totaled to space for 94 fighters, and every space for fighters was filled.
The Doomsday Fleet was heading out with full Fighter complements.

Re: Open Orbit

*Warping into the system just outside the naturally formed gravity well of the planet, the Bilbringi Imperial Interdictor-class Super Star Destroyer(boy that's a mouthful) "Sovereign" emerged from hyperspace. Following it, several hundred kilometers to its left side, came the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer "Endurance". A series of smaller capital vessels followed after, including four Carrack-class Light Cruisers and the extensively modified Tartan-class Corvette "Tallaani Explorer". The smaller ships seemed to form up in a straight line beneath the two destroyers. Aboard the Sovereign, Dark Acolyte Morgan Pasanius beamed a hail to the Reaver.*

=Morgan Pasanius=
:: NOE Dreadnought "Reaver", this is Commander Pasanius of the Sovereign. The NOE Expanse Fleet has been ordered to pursue one of the worlds listed as future targets by Bilbringi High Command. As I understand it, the Doomsday Fleet is making ready to do much the same. What say you to a joint assault? Surely four Star Destroyers are better than two. ::

*The Dark Acolyte remained seated in his command chair upon the bridge of the Sovereign as he waited for a response.*

Re: Open Orbit

The flows of hyperspace were falling away, Cassus felt. He was unsure of how he had realized this - perhaps the hyperdrive motivator's cyclic changes had subconsciously occurred to him, that sounded reasonable, or perhaps the gravity flow changed subtly, something else a very experienced pilot and Force adept should understand. But he could tell, and he was vindicated as the 'lines' of hyperspace decomposed into blurs, and then points, and then the image of Dorin itself. He tapped the steepled tops of his long fingers together, remembering quietly that Vader once enjoyed watching hyperspace travel, even though in those days it was still believed that it could cause madness.

Madness. Indeed.

The YT-2000 exited hyperspace, and from his co-pilot chair Cassus nodded and communicated his consciousness of exiting hyperspace, and the ancient Rodian leaned forward to console, touching off a few post-transit checks. Cronal still didn't have quite the feel for navigation that Cassus did, and with a satisfied smirk he noticed that they were perhaps still a radius outside of the gravity well of Dorin - that as well he communicated to Cronal. The ship's systems registered no complaints and no readings outside of error and tolerance.

He knew Corellian ships like the YT-2000 only peripherally. No one on the Smuggler's Moon had enough money for any but the most beat up, tuned and retuned, old model that could be had. He himself had no interest in them - he preferred his own rebuilds or designs, and those second to a well tuned Geonosian vessel. For that reason, he hesitated to initiate anything, but his hand hovered over the comm.
