Re: The Hangar Bay and Landing Pads
*Upon returning to the hangar bay, Alpharius put the repulsion sled back into it's housing and began hacking into the sled housing databanks. He was taking an unnecessary steps in order to ensure that all his bases were covered, the weathered flags, the deletion of any history and the removal of any virtual tracks he had made. It bordered upon the insane, wasting his time when his mind and skills could've been put to better use. But in the Selkath's mind, it was a zealous faith in his lord and master that deemed this course of action to be necessary.
When he was finished, Alpharius raised his wrist to his extended snout once more.* :: This is Alpharius to Hydra. :: *Taking a moment to hear the click upon the channel, Alpharius continued.* :: Phase two complete, shifting into phase three. ::
*Normally the line would've remained silent, and just as he was about to sever the connection a voice spoke back.* :: Negative, Operative will move to Plan B. Hydra out. ::
*The selkath lowered his arm, after severing the connection, wondering what would cause his superiors to move this operation into plan B. The palace couldn't have been breached by outside forces, as both the crazed droids within or the seismic charges would've detonated. No, this was something that his lord and master desired. His master's mind had changed about leaving evidence behind, and Alpharius could agree with that. Though he had spent days within the palace before and after the Empire had went through with it's exodus, it would all accumulate into a single moment of bright light and the deathly silence there after.
Smiling, the selkath boarded his vessel and sealed the cabin. Taking his place upon the pilots chair, he ran over the pre-flight checks and took off from the flight deck. Maneuvering thrusters guided the cargo hauler from the hangar bay, and the echo of roaring engines catapulted the vessel over the rolling dunes of cinnamon sand. Once he was free of the blast zone, the xenos operative withdrew a detonator for one of the seismic charges and depressed the trigger.*
