OOC: I have no problem speaking with the writer of Taung H'rel personally to discuss possible storyline arcs, but to be honest, the condescending tone of your post in this thread, which I'm taking to be OOC, since this is an OOC thread, does offend me a bit.
First of all, I'm troubled by the mixing of IC and OOC that takes place in your comment. While I have no problems with working alongside storylines, the fact that I'm not welcome to RP a Mando or on a Mando planet OOC if I don't conform to political structures that were developed IC is counter to the nature of good RPing. Part of the reason why I'm RPing what I am instead of having my character join the ME is because I don't like the idea of a Mandalorian "Empire" - I've seen what it has become many times in the past on this site, especially with the politics, and IC, it just seemed very un-Mando to me. IC, Banvon is friendly to all Mandos and holds no hostility toward the ME, and should they request his help, especially for defense, he'd answer the call for his vode, but he doesn't think fighting for an Empire (without plenty of credits, at least) is the best way to serve his family, the families of other Mandos, or their civilization. It just doesn't come off well as an RPer, regardless of experience, when you say "You're welcome to RP a Mando so long as you RP it our way." It saps creativity and smacks of a nasty OOC RP-Nazi regime in the making. (I'm not saying that's what it is, or that Taung H'rel's writer sees it the way you expressed either - I haven't spoken to them yet, so they can speak for themselves - but it's just a warning sign that you're treading close to dangerously thin ice when it comes to violating the basic principles and freedoms of RPing, especially since JvS doesn't legislate how characters are RPed that strictly, and frowns on mixing IC with OOC.)
Second, it rubs me the wrong way too since even a Whill doesn't have the right to tell a writer they have to RP a certain way to be allowed to RP a Mando/Jedi/Sith/etc. Being told I'm only welcome as a writer to RP a Mando character/business/planet if I RP the way the other Mando writers want me to violates my rights as a writer on this site. I'm not going to file an IR over it - unless I catch undue crap (OOC or IC) for my candor in this post - but I just want to make sure it is brought to your attention.
Forgive the harsh tone of this response, it's not meant as an attack or an insult OOC, just a few words from a concerned fellow writer about what troubled me with what was said and implied in your last post. I don't hold it personally against you or anything, but since this site has too much mixing of IC and OOC as it is, and far too many OOC power struggles between writers, as a responsible RPer, it would be wrong of me not to address a concern when it arises.*
