That would work, seeing as how no one but me is online here, and I'd rather wait until the girl posts so that I can have a bit more to work with...of course, I could just go deeper into the forest and continue my training...hmm...

Re: IC disputes Settled OOC
[i:3j84pehx]Flaming debris began to rain from the sky, chips of the rusty Durasteel hull of the Light Freighter, the[/i:3j84pehx] [b:3j84pehx]"Betrayer"[/b:3j84pehx] [i:3j84pehx], as it burned across the sky, re-entering the atmosphere of Rishi from the heartless realm of Space. The Hull, a normal scheme of black and white, speckled like the nighttime sky, was now a bright orange and red, the effects of the massive heat required in coming back into the very air of the planet. The four small Ion engines, slapped haphazardly onto the rear of the vessel were pulling backward, as the Captain of the ship and the Dark Jedi piloting it had engaged rear thrusters only moments before reentry. Even with the entire set of drag fins and flaps, the Freighter was still riding into the planet too hot, and way to fast. The acceleration alone, at this rate, would create a crater that would rival most natural occurrences.

Inside the derelict ship however, was a different and completely new situation than on the exterior of the flaming hulk of mass and metal. Sitting in front of the viewport, strapped securely into the chair sat Cronal, the Dark Jedi and Swordsman of a hundred pains. His arms, both extended only about half of their length, were gripping tightly the " Wheel " of his ship, the Light Freighter that was streaking across Rishi leaving a trail of fire and debris for anyone to see at this point in time. It was all he could do, thought the Dark Jedi, to keep the ship in the air, much less in a stable course that wouldn't leave him utterly destroyed in the crash that, even he knew would come. He turned his head to the right, his eyes- dark brown in color, glancing back to the rear of the cockpit of the Freighter. There, sitting in a fine ornate wooden case sat his beautiful soul, his life.. The Sith Sword Katana he himself had constructed from Durasteel, laying the cutting edge with a thin layer of Phrik. The case was held atop of a small wooden table as well, the table in which was bolted securely onto the floor of the ship by a series of metallic screws drilled through the old, beautifully carved legs. Laying gently inside the case, directly aside the Katana was another one of Cronal's favored weapons, his Lightsaber and training weapon. The name of which he had not chosen yet, the Lightsaber was fitted specially for him, the hilt featuring an extended length large enough for the Dark Jedi to fit both of his hands around, allowing him to swing it heavily from above, or slash across from right to left or left to right in a haphazard manner.

The Dark one smiled, returning his raptor like gaze to the front, his eyes noticing in one instant the massive Fortress that now filled his viewport. A fortress, out here? thought the Swordsman, the on board computer instantly bringing a small article dictating the brief history of the Fortress as if he were casually surfing the HoloNet. Damned computer, he thought, as he reminded himself to shy away from almost all uses of technology if he could. Reaching forward, removing his right hand from the " Wheel " of the vessel, Cronal jammed his pointer finger into a small green, round button next to a series of gauges and monitors. Activating the Communication link, the computer began to search for any wave lengths currently in use on the surface of the planet near the Fortress. Speaking quickly, his voice rushed by his current predicament, the Dark Jedi issued his message.[/i:3j84pehx][/color:3j84pehx]

[list:3j84pehx][list:3j84pehx][comlink:3j84pehx]Fortress Communication Channel, this is the Swordsman and Dark Jedi Cronal requesting immediate air support and ground assistance upon landing. This is the Light Freighter, the [b:3j84pehx]"Betrayer"[/b:3j84pehx], and I'm coming in extremely hot. I have extended all drag fins and flaps and my descent speed is still too great for a landing maneuver. I intend on lan.....[/comlink:3j84pehx][/list:u:3j84pehx][/list:u:3j84pehx]

[i:3j84pehx]The Communication link was cut short, static filtering through the Open Communication link the Dark Jedi had engaged only moments ago. Cut short, Cronal had intended on letting the Ground Control of the Fortress know that he was putting the "Betrayer" down in the center of the Fortress grounds, accepting any consequences he would have to face once he himself safely achieved a landing of sorts. Hang on, thought the man, bracing himself for impact. Shutting his eyes, the Dark Jedi leaned back into the comfort of the Pilot and Captain's chair, allowing the all knowing and all powerful Force to engulf his mind and body, and as it did Cronal willed it, urged it even, to guide him safely through this landing and protect him from major harm. As the Dark one did this, a slight tingling was felt throughout his body, starting at the tips of his fingers until it worked it's way through entire body.

Not daring to open his eyes, not even for a split second, Cronal continue to emerge himself further and deeper in the Dark Side of the Force as he could, and had ever done before. Then, as if in the sudden swing of all things peaceful, the Light Freighter slammed into the Fortress Grounds, the force of which sent a shock wave of energy through both the ground and the air through the Fortress Grounds. The impact of the Freighter and the ground utterly wrecked the ship, causing it to dig deep into the very core of the planet, pushing against the stone, rock, and dirt of the Grounds, forcing it down into the planet. The crushing weight of gravity wrenched the Light Freight apart, sending the aft section askew, the section crushing into itself and falling away to the left of the main crash site.

The stern, and forward sections of the Light Freighter that used to known as the " Betrayer " continued shoveling through the surface of Rishi, barreling through the compacted ground of the Fortress leaving a path of flaming debris in it's wake. Pieces of flaming metal were left scattered across the entire Fortress Grounds, the ground left brunt and scarred from the impaction of the Light Freighter. As the forward section of the Light Freighter neared a wall of the fortress, it began to slow, grinding with a screeching noise to a halt, mere inched away from crushing it's way through the exterior protection of the Fortress. As the smoke began to clear, the evidence of damage on the Fortress Grounds was clear. The aft was left smoldering and still smoking a good deal just over 20 Meters away from the front section of the vessel. Pieces of the ship were left scattered like dead Soldiers in a war, smoldering and still red hot from reentry.

The forward section of the vessel was left laying still, huddled near one of the walls of the Fortress, resting gently in the dirt and stone of the Grounds. Tiny embers of burning grass still glowed red and black, left over from the initial impact the Betrayer had done on the surface of Rishi. As the grounds descended into silence, the peace was broken once more for a last time by the sound of a Door, rusty almost, being opened. Cronal emerged from the forward section of the vessel, a bubble of Blue energy engulfing both him and the case he carried securely under his arm. Keeping his eyes closed still, the Dark Jedi stepped over a piece of Hull and marched away dutifully from the wreckage.[/i:3j84pehx][/color:3j84pehx][/quote:3j84pehx]
[i:3j84pehx]Emerging from the smoldering remains of his crashed and utterly destroyed ship, the former Light Freighter " Betrayer " , had shaken Cronal to his very core. In his mind, the Dark Jedi had expected not to survive the encounter, the impact and resulting damage should have crushed the Dark one and Master Swordsman of a hundred pains, yet.. His trust and power in the Dark Side of the Force had allowed him to seemingly create a protection bubble, built solely out of the Force, to protect him from the Flames and Crushing weight the Freighter created when it slammed into the surface of Rishi.

Yet here Cronal stood, walking away safely from the crash site, his prized possession and only love, his Sith Sword Katana and his Lightsaber, resting carefully inside an ornate wooden box that was tucked carefully away under the crook of the Dark Jedi's arm. The box rocked side to side as he strolled through the pieces of wreckage that was leftover from the failed landing attempt. As he did so, he heard the faint flutter of wings, the sound of four distinct " Thuds " , and then he felt them. Reaching out with the Force, the awe inspiring power of the Dark Side alerted Cronal of the incoming warriors before he had turned around and spotted them with his own eyes.

Bird-like creatures, the Rishii, the indigenous species of Rishi, approached Cronal with their brown and tan feathered wings drawn back across their backsides, pulled tightly against their skin. In each one of their hands, one for each Rishii, was a simple, and elegantly crafted Wakizashi. These warriors mean business, Cronal thought to himself as he spun around the face the winged warriors. As he did so, he leaned down, taking a knee in the burnt- scarred terrain of Rishi to set the ornate box on the ground. Moving both his left and right hand to the lid, the Dark Jedi opened it slowly, rising the lid to it's apex and leaving it there, open for the world.

The Master Swordsman of a hundred pains picked the Sith Sword laying inside the box up, moving it away and standing as he did so. Holding the sheath in one hand, his left, and the hilt of the Sith Sword Katana in the other, Cronal grinned- flashing his winged prey one final devastating smile that would be remembered by them for the rest of their lives. Well, for the rest of one of their lives, thought Cronal once more. As he intended to maim and kill all but one of the winged animals, his mercy only allotting the life of three in place of one. A fair deal, he thought, as he yanked hard, pulling the Katana free of the sheath.[/i:3j84pehx][/color:3j84pehx]

[action:3j84pehx]Schkt![/action:3j84pehx][/size:3j84pehx]

[i:3j84pehx]The metallic ring of steel being drawn from his sheath was evident, even through the immense sound of burning metal and smoldering grass and dirt. There, Cronal stood before the four armed Rishii, ready to draw blood with his mighty sword, the " Monstrosity " waiting in his right hand, the tip of the blade angled to the right of his body, pointing to the ground. His grasp on the hilt, the woven Aein Silk giving him a comfortable surface to grip, was loose. He closed his eyes, letting the Dark Side of the Force wrap itself like an overwhelming blanket around his body and fuel his rage, his anger. How dare these inferior beasts dare confront me, Cronal thought, tightening his grip on the Hilt.

Taking two steps forward, the Dark one began to approach the winged beasts, his Katana turned Sith Sword being held to the right of his body and to the side, ready to be raised in an instant to cut down the feathered foe, Cronal opened his mouth, speaking out against his enemy.[/i:3j84pehx][/color:3j84pehx]

[list:3j84pehx][list:3j84pehx]" How dare you stand before me. You know you will fall before my Blade. "[/color:3j84pehx][/list:u:3j84pehx][/list:u:3j84pehx][/quote:3j84pehx]

Ok, so I'm...Wait, you can see my name, don't be lazy. I like long walks along the beach with the corpse of some random dude....... I also enjoy dinners lit by flaming children. Seeking other, must be female Wraith willing to choose a hot body.

Also wondering how I should integrate myself in the Sith Sorcery storyline....

Anyways, looks like I'm too late. Am I right? Or should I do the person wandering in afterwords....

Aw, you're Cassus' little brother? Cool...I'm Cassus' psychotic best friend. We wander around wherever we feel like doing so, generally making others jealous with our pure badassity lol. Anyways, I've got no problem with it, but you probably want to talk to either Hevn or Cronal, or Cassus himself.

IC my mind will be changed, but it would have been totally against Vaint's character to agree with the addition of a new member right off the bat.

I expected it. I have no idea how Hevn will possibly reconcile Shalh IC, except for the fact that they seem to have much in common ideologically. This is such an interesting philosophical study.

Yep. And seriously, watch what you say IC man, cuz if you say anything that might be construed as a slight against Vaint's honor, there'll be a fight. However, I'm using this RP to change his mind set a bit.
