Re: City Streets

*Jacobs, followed by the seven Sith Troopers, began to slowly make their way back to the NOE Garrison Base. Beneath the crimson armoured suit, Jacobs signaled for Sinclair to return to base. Sinclair, still wanting to remain undercover, received the signal that his men were returning to base. He continued to observe the black garbed Sith below for a few more seconds, watching one of them thrust their weapon into the ground, then retrieve in a few seconds later. Sinclair then packed up and made his way back to base, on his own.*

*Jacobs frowned, beneath the one-way mirrored visor. Something hadn't added up as to why the Sith had followed them out of the base, nor why they were so evasive in answering his question. He decided to talk with Sinclair, once they returned to base. Jacobs and his men marched along, still keeping an eye out for the Kel Dor rebels.*

Re: City Streets

*McGraf jogged out into the desolate city streets. He immediately spotted the one who he sought. He strode up to them. The crimson armoured soldier stopped, ready to snap off a salute, but was greeted with a golden fist to the helmeted face. McGraf placed enough force behind the punch to send himself reeling after he hit the crimson armoured soldier. Unfortunately for the crimson soldier, he was knocked off his feet and onto his back. The other seven silver armoured troopers just stood there, rooted to the spot. As McGraf moved in to grab the crimson soldier by the throat, the one way black mirrored faceplate depolarized, revealing the youthful, swollen and bloody face of Corporal Carter Jacobs. McGraf stopped himself.*

McGraf:*In a low menacing growl*"Corporal!?! Where the hell is the god-dammed Staff Sergeant?"

*As if to answer the Sergeant Major's question, a sliver armoured soldier dropped down from a dilapidated building, clutching his sniper rifle. McGraf moved forward, wrapping his golden armoured hand around the Staff Sergeant's neck.*

Sinclair:"S..Sir!?!" *he choked and sputtered*

McGraf:"You disrespectful S.O.B! I oughta put a round in your duracrete skull and save myself any further trouble, you worthless maggot! You disrespected the NOE Overseer! YOU KRIFFING IDIOT!"

*McGraff brought his armoured fist to bear against Sinclair's gut. The soldier doubled over, dropping his rifle in the process. McGraf took two steps back. Sinclair brought himself to one knee.*

Sinclair:"Sir....I...I don't understand?"

McGraf:"Well then, let me shed some fricking light on your situation then. You disrespected the NOE Overseer, Shendor Abnett. He is offended and wants to defend his honor. He has challenged you to a fight. You are going to fight him. Why? Because he did so in front of Lord Savage himself! So now you are going to head back to the garrison base and face your fate. Personally, from a military stand point, I hope you grease his choobies. Because I would hate to lose such a skilled sniper, but personally, I hope he greases your choobies so good that you're lubing the landing gear of starships in the Netherworld. Now haul choobies back to base, DOUBLE TIME!!"

*Sinclair wasted no time in carrying out the Sergeant Major's orders. He picked himself and his rifle up off the ground and began to sprint back to the NOE Garrison Base, the Sergeant Major screaming profanities and insults the entire way back. As for the others, the hauled themselves back just as quickly, not wanting to miss out on the Staff Sergeant getting his choobies royally handed to him by the NOE Acolyte.*

Re: City Streets

U'lik and B'arin Skirata, each with ten YVH 5-S Combat Droids, walk through the city streets of Dor'shan in full Beskar'gam. They pay no attention to the various shady deals on the streets in the NOE city but do stop a few times to looks at the items for sale at the vending stalls and flash the holo of Rowyn Pytar to the shop keepers and their patrons

Re: City Streets

U'lik is walking through the crowds making his way slowly back around to his ship when, in a rare clearing of people, a Kel-Dor man stops him.

"Hey Mando!"

U'lik turns to the man, "My name is Skirata"

"Whatever"

"Very well, Kel-dor, what do you want?"

"You are looking for Rowyn Pyotr?"

"Thats right"

"Well, word has it that he headed for Honoghr when he blasted out of here"

U'lik flicks a 100 credit chit through the air to land in the Kel-dor's hands and stalks off back toward his ship.

"B'arin, fall back to the ship, we are leaving"

Re: City Streets

*Both silver armoured Sith Troopers and white plastoid armoured Stormtroopers can be seen in the city streets, patrolling, should the Kel Dor decide to try and revolt against their NOE superiors. They are the ones that keep the peace and oversee the reconstruction of Dor'shan. Since the NOE Conquest, the restoration of the city had been put off, but now it was in full swing. Construction crews were everywhere, repairing everything that needed it. Citizens were finally starting to resurface as the city around them became whole again.*

Re: City Streets

*Reconstruction was finally completed, more or less. The buildings destroyed during the orbital attack and following occupation were either repaired or demolished and replaced. Rebuilding was quite a time consuming and costly procedure, but also a very necessary step if the Eye wanted to maintain its authority here. With the reconstruction came a resurgence in the population. There was also a demand for more jobs to sustain the booming populace, which was where the NOE armed forces came in. Recruitment on Dorin was at an all time high, the Kel Dor had seen the destructive power of the Sith and now wanted a part of that power for themselves. Greed drove them to enlist in the service while fear kept the rest subdued. It was no longer an armed occupation of Dorin, it was now just the way of things, widely accepted by all who called the planet home.*

Re: Dor'shan

*Shendor Abnett brooded over the latest request from Xagobah as he sat in his office, attending to his lunch. The soup of the day was clam chowder. It saw unwell with him.*

*Send soldiers to Xagobah? Preposterous! Who had he to send? The city of Dorshan was held by the Order, and that remained a fact only so long as the garrison base remained in the down town core, fully equipped with a small army of Stormtroopers. They had only just recently put down the rebel elements; the troops were still much needed. He could perhaps send a group of Kel Dor in place of the genetically superior humans, though their loyalty remained questionable. Still, Commodore Adarok hadn't specified what species he required.*

*Grinning at his cleverness, the Dark Acolyte wrote up a transfer form for two hundred and fifty alien heathens.*

Re: Dor'shan

*Meditating in his office, Shendor Abnett was a fish in the ocean. From his seated place upon the floor, his mind drifted through the Force as he sought out certain crucial information. To do so for long while making use of the Dark Side was dangerous for ones body, though he was determined, so physical detriment was put aside. As he neared the answers he sought, a noise in his office broke his concentration and brought him back to the present. He opened his eyes and scowled, noting the flashing light on his computer console. Rising and moving over to his desk, he skimmed the contents of a message that had just arrived from Pzob.* *It seemed the Eye deemed it necessary to conduct another ceremony of sacrafice. That was good, those were too far in between. A good sacrafice helped to keep the empire in line. Apparently the Dark Acolyte was ordered to send five hundred of Dor'shan's citizens to Pzob as soon as possible.* *He grinned wickedly.* *Why not?* *Moments later he was on his personal communicator, laying the ground work for the motion to gather up a few unmissable Kel Dorians.*

Re: Dor'shan

*Recent spacial telemetry warned of a coming meteorite shower that would impact near the city of Dor'shan, though most were unconcerned. Usually those sorts of things went unnoticed since meteors tended to burn up in the atmosphere. Unfortunately for the citizens of the city, this particular shower boasted space rocks of unusual size.*

*Warning klaxons sounded across the city as burning objects streaked towards the ground. Miniature explosions could be heard erupting in various locations across Dor'shan, where meteorite impacts caused craters to form and destruction to ensue. One sizable chunk struck the city's main square, shattering the duracrete floor, throwing Kel Dorians around like rag dolls. After five minutes of the carnage, the city wide shields came online, blanketing Dor'shan in a shell of blue energy. The rest of the impacts struck harmlessly, the shield generator being more than adequate to keep them at bay.*

*A day later.*

*NOE meteorologists and scientists were found gathered near the central square, examining one of the few pieces of debris that remained intact after impact. Several Kel Dor were seen lying dead around the now chilled rock, though they hadn't been killed by the impact.* *After the city was spared by its deflector shield, a number of the citizens had attempted to snag a piece of space debris. Many foolishly tried to take the boulder sized object, only to find that upon contact with their skin, the rock killed them instantly.* *The scientists verified that the meteorite was energized, though only in the bronzed colored sections exposed of it. After hours of study, one verified the out shell as composing of the nickel, the the inner contents went unverified. Eventually they decided to pack up the rock, using proper equipment so as no flesh came into contact with it, then loaded it up on a transport and sent it off to Pzob.*

*In the weeks to come, the garrison base would lend its resources to the city in order to repair the damage. A new warning system would be instituted to avoid similar fates befalling Dor'shan once again.*

Re: Dor'shan

*A few months later.*

*The damage to Dor'shan had all but been repaired. Meteorite damage to the city had caused several million credits worth of destruction, but it considerably a small expense in the eyes of the Order.* *Keeping the Kel Dorians happy was somewhat high on the priority list of the Empire, following a decree by the Famine Lord who had been taken by the special teachings of the sages found within the city limits.* *Stormtrooper patrols were less frequent, now acting only in a visual capacity. Community policing was institutionalized by the local authorities.* *Since the fall of the rebellion, the people had possessed an intense anger towards their conquerors. However, in giving back to the people, an appreciation was fostered between the Empire and the Kel Dorian people. They were responsible for their own communities, preventing crime as opposed to catching criminals, and developing community outreach programs. All in all it boasted and brighter, happier, and more loving community. Now that might not exactly sound like the sort of environment a Sith Empire might strive for, but that's only if you believed the intent was honest.* *Something much seedier was going on in the background, led by one of the most depraved and sadistic lords of the Order.* *If only they knew what waited.*

*Structure repair was for the most part completed. The shield generators were working at full capacity and telemetry from the satellites in orbit helped to act as a forewarning system of any more incoming spacial debris.* *Kel Dorians not squished by space rocks were happy Kel Dorians...mostly.*

Re: Dor'shan

*Shendor Abnett watched the streets of Dor'shan from the balcony of the NOE garrison base within the city. The elegant marble outcropping was sealed against the elements, thus allowing the Dark Acolyte to be outside the base without donning breathing equipment.* *It would have made more sense to indoctrinate the Kel Dor and turn them into the soldiers that served as the planets guardians, but the Order was fickle about how it treated aliens. There were still many xenophobes amongst its ranks.* *Shendor's green eyes seemed to sparkle like small emeralds, reflecting the daylight that protruded from the murky brown sky. He let out a small sigh before turning to head back inside the compound.*

*There were days when the drab scenery served to depress him. Having been trained in the secret Acolyte facility where daylight was all but non-existent, he should have been use to it. But that time was long ago and now he longed for something more.* *Shendor's Shadow Guards stood watch, keeping their Lightsaber Pikes close at hand while they guarded the Acolyte.*

*Since the Tyrian's had moved off, there was little reason to fret. Still, best not let his guard down. The rebels might be quelled but that didn't necessarily mean all of them were dead.*

Re: Dor'shan

*The Shadow Guard initiates continued their training at the NOE garrison base in Dor'shan. All that they had learned from the sages was beginning to pay off. Not just their Force use, but also their mastery of the lightsaber pike.*

*Granted, the sages didn't actually fight with lightsabers or any similar variant, but the quarterstaff they often employed was very similar in principle. You couldn't stab with it the same way you could a lightsaber pike, but it was still a long unwieldy stick. Manipulating a weapon like that took some serious practice.*

*Lucius Yeovil and Gaidine Sadine went through a series of drills. They felt somewhat leaderless with Sebastian Drachenfel off-world attending to the Order's business, but it in now way affected their tenacity. In fact, they pushed themselves harder in his absence, for fear of being chastised upon his return. Over and over again, stab and strike went their lightsaber pikes. It was a sight to behold.*

*From the balcony of the base, Dark Acolyte Shendor Abnett watched with pride, and perhaps amusement.* *It might prove prudent to pit both guards against each other in mortal combat. That was the only way to know which was truly better.*

Re: Dor'shan

*TSTS Captain Chip Donahue strode through the city with a purpose. On the little chestnut furred Woks face was a modified antiox breath mask, much the same as the one the Famine Lord wore.* *Unlike the antiox breath masks that provided the Kel Dor with Dorin gas off-world, these masks were setup to provide oxygen. A necessity given that the atmosphere of the planet was not breathable by oxygen reliant species.* *The Wok made his way through the market place, picking up different food sources to be stored in his ship's cargo bay. He traveled from one stand to the next, making deals with the various different merchants and arranging for the products to be delivered to the spaceport where his ship awaited.*

*In the past, Twin Suns has been focused on delivering the planet's precious gas offworld. There was a healthy Kel Dorin population spread through the Sith Empire, making it necessary to be able to provide this resource across the expansive length of Imperial space. All of this the TSTS accomplished. However, in finding that they could receive gas straight from their home planet, the question was raised as to whether or not they could receive other things. As a result the company agreed to deliver native Kel Dorin food to the colonies of off world Kel Dor. That meant more profit for the company and a much happier alien population through the Empire.*

*Chip made sure only to select the most impeccably maintained foods stuffs.* *In some cases the trip from Dorin to the Outer Rim would take weeks, and not everything could be frozen.* *It was important to make sure the food would last, hence the Ewoks picky approach to selection. After several hours of bargaining, the captain had completed his work. Good timing as well, since all this walking had caused his feet to swell. Chip called back to his ship and arranged for the crew to prepare to receive cargo.* *Once everything was delivered, they'd be on their way elsewhere.*
