"The Bloodied Mongoose" receives the shuttle from the surface, as the "Bismarck" remains down below on the surface. As the ship prepares for hyperspace, Jack considers the need for a fleet, or even a station for defensive purposes. Starfighters, Marines, even mines: they all cost money. Money was something Jack did not have, even with the slow and steady supply of reinforcements.
Jack would have to find a way to make money for his ragtag band. Perhaps he could work a deal with a company to sub-contract for a small factory. It would be a punishment to the men to do factory work, but perhaps with some additional funds he could hire workers to come to this airless moon. Perhaps start families and a community.
As the ship jumps to hyperspace a thought enters Jack's mind: who would want to live on an airless hunk of rock.
