*The pilot who had taken command since Nevyn's departure, almost laughed.
The Jedi had arrived and their open comm made the game even more amusing.
He also sent out a transision on an open frequency.*
:: Bassadran citizens, the Jedi have arrived. All rejoice! They show up after you need them, after your families have been slaughtered, after you yourselves were almost killed. Now they arrive and offer aid! The skilled warriors of the L'Ange Noire, late as always.
They have no quarrell with you! They simply left you to die! They had probes in this system, they know you need aid AFTER the fact. They watched you die and did nothing! Accept their aid and you spit on your families memories, protect yourselves for no one else will save you.
Take up arms against those who do nothing when you need them and demand your docility when they arrive! The Jedi knew of your trouble and did nothing, they are worse than those who set the traps which took your loved ones. ::
*The pilot stressed certain words to make the point more pungent, if the L'Ange Noire commander had not admitted to knowing the troubles of Bassadro so recently acheived. The pilots message would have fallen on deaf ears... Now the people of Bassadro knew the Jedi simply watched them die... and did nothing.
Of course their was nothing the Jedi could have done, the place was rigged to explode as Sqaudron 6 had found out, but the people of Bassadro didn't know that! The Jedi were the guardians of those in need, they were legends of Justice!
Yet they had just admitted that they did nothing to help the people when they needed help the most and that was the best weapon the pilots had at this moment.*
On a secure band (ship to ship)
:: Prepare yourselves gentlemen! Syrgical strikes on the Lucrehulk when it enters the gravity well. Let them come to us and trap themselves to sub light before we committ. Break off into squads and make it look like we are making them a hole to land. ::
*The TIEs broke off into groups of 100, each 100 was then broken up into groups of 25. so in total 25 seperate groups would appear on the sensors of the capitol ships, each grouping of four(100) moving in away from a central point.
No weapons were activeated yet, unlike a capitol ship a TIE could arm and accelerate to attack speed very very quickly. To any observer their would appear to be no hostile action.
The commanding pilot hoped the LAN would think that the pilots wanted to see their aid spurned thanks to his open comm, they would not attack because they wanted to see the citizens attack the jedi...
It was a small hope, but if he could fool the LAN long enough to get them in the gravity well nothing else mattered.
But just to be certain he sent a comm to the LAN commander.*
:: Approach! You will not be attacked by us... The people of Bassadro will decide if your aid is wanted, not us. ::
