The Forsworn fleet received their orders at a most peculiar hour. Their commander clearly did not sleep like a regular man, unlike the captain of the 'Tiberius', who was roused out of bed in a most unkind fashion by a deck hand. Forced on deck, he tried to wipe the grogginess away from his face as he made his way to a holo-projector.
It was clear that he had not done a proper job, as within moments of the commander's face flickering into view, Nexus asked him a trivial question.
:: Am I disturbing you, Captain? ::
The captain attempted to straighten up even more so. He stiffened and shook his head.
"Of course not sir, what will you have of me?"
The holo flickered for a moment. It was impossible to determine Nexus' expression beneath the bone helmet that he wore, yet Captain Daegon believed that his commander was not convinced. Even so, he gave the orders.
:: I want you to capture the next large public transport vessel that enters this sector. Seize it and kill all who oppose us. Dump the remainder on the surface and allow Lord Piteos to decide what he wishes to do with them. Once you have the vessel under your command, bring it to the fortress along with enough shuttles to carry three hundred Reavers. ::
What did the commander want with a public transport? They were bulky, and usually unarmed. He knew better than to ask Nexus' intention, so instead, he saluted and gave the common "Yes, sir" of a soldier. With that, Nexus' image faded away.
Captain Daegon roused his crew unceremoniously. Fortunately, with the sithies coming up, many ships were travelling in these sectors, both heading towards and away from the event. The men watched the scanners, waiting without complain.
An hour passed, then two, then four, then ten. It was not until near the 22nd hour mark that scanners detected a large enough vessel to seize. A bulky public transportation ship, on its way to Naboo, passed through the sector. Within moments it found itself locked within the tractor beam of the Tiberius. A shuttle boarded with 12 men, taking the ship without any casualties, as the first set of heroes were made into quick examples. With the ship seized, the remainder of the passengers relinquished their valuables and travelers cloaks, then were ferried to the surface of Rishi.
The ship was swept for any threatening devices, and once it was cleared, it began it's descent to Rishi, logging it as an unscheduled repair stop. Nexus would be proud.
