Re: Yellow District

As Avidus waited for the files, something told him that there was about to be another revelation. Call it instinct, call it fate, or call it what you will. But Avidus had survived his own death several times, the disappearance of Lord Mortus, and the disappearance of his own father into the twilight of the universe. There was a familiar feeling that there would soon be another abrupt change. Keying the intercom he spoke again. :: Su'uko? You are in charge here. I will return for you if needed. Something bad is about to happen I can feel it. :: He rises stomping out his cigar on the floor leaving a burn mark. He didn't care. He had a feeling something was going to happen that was going to destroy his revolution before it had truly begun. He strode from the administration building to his ship and took off the autopilot set for Manaan.

Re: Yellow District

[narration:3eeo420b]Several hours after The Gorog Stalkers had taken control of Capital City men and women armed with heavy weaponry moved into the Yellow District and began handing notices to the businesses and manufacturing agents amongst the district. They Read.[/narration:3eeo420b]

[quote:3eeo420b][color=#808000:3eeo420b]Citizens,

As of the time you are reading this control of Falleen's security has been handed over to the group known as The Gorog Stalkers. They were called here at our own will after our planet's abandonnment of the former Empire. Erradication of Force Users will ensue. You however are given a period of grace to make arrangement to leave the planet if you so wish. The tolerance level for Force use on the planet is strictly set. You will abide by these rules and withhold no information concerning the whereabouts of said Force Users. Speak with your designated noble to report harboring of Force Users and the like. You will be rewarded.

On another note, taxes will remain the same even though there is new management, each month taxes will be drawn directly to the Palace for your part. If you wish to secure other means for your business you will not be stopped. But a severance package will be given to the Palace upon your leaving the system.

From this moment on you are under the protection, and the direction of The Gorog Stalkers. Return the attached contract to the palace through your nobleman or woman.

Thank you for your time.[/color:3eeo420b][/quote:3eeo420b]

[narration:3eeo420b]As the flimsi was distributed to the citizens several protests were made, each finished with simple words from the men and women of The Gorog Stalkers, speaking of how they would pay for their crimes if they chose to continue at the end of their weapons.

All the while forces moved into secured locations for weapon storage as well as explosives being stored in secure locations.

Factories began work on orders given directly from the Palace and moved with speed to increase production time be recruiting new workers. All funds being brought forth from the palace immediately.[/narration:3eeo420b]

Re: Yellow District

*After the crewmen had finished handing out the service announcement from the Palace they searched through the warehouse districts in the Yellow District. Several teams of three moved from place to place with very minimal success of finding anything of use.

Within the hour two warehouses were located under heavy security, locking systems that were sliced which took more time than they wanted, but the profit was well worth it.

Comm messages were immediately sent to the Palace concerning their findings.*

Warehouse findings:
30 Cutlass-9 Patrol Fighter
15 AEG-77 Vigo
10 LAAT/i-modified (Scrap)

*As the messages were sent the men began to order removal of the ships from the warehouses as soon as the order was given from the palace. The Falleen people had not known of these ships whereabouts when The Gorog Stalkers had first arrived on the planet. But now they would be the beginnings of Capital City's defenses. The AEG-77 Vigos would be sent to the individual members of The Gorog Stalkers and used as troop transportation when necessary.*

Re: Yellow District

=Su'uko=

He had seen on his sercurity camera network that there was a new ruler on the planet. He'd immediately taken protective measures and all the files were encrypted several times over the codes hidden within three layers of codes and the key to decoding them memorized then destroyed. He then opened a comm channel to the palace. He had already sent orders for the defenses to stand down and melt into the native population. Considering that nearly all the security team were natives this wasn't hard to do.

:: This is Su'uko requesting permission to speak to the Ruler of Falleen. I am going to cut the Sithspit, my master has run factories here for several years now, and I would like to maintain these factories with my Master's blessing I will supply a full 25% of our total gross profit to you in return. ::

Su'uko couldn't offer any more than that or the other investors in the factories would pull out. And the ruler of falleen would be a damned fool to turn this offer down as when the factories ran, a LOT of capital was made. If the ruler refused, Su'uko would simply get on a ship and leave. The machinary in the factories had already been disabled, well the machines that were custom designed for Avidus's special products. the key blueprints were off planet as well as all the key components. There was nothing here really for the ruler if he turned down Su'uko.

Re: Yellow District

=Su'uko=

Getting a bit nervous the Selkath opened a comm link to Avidus himself and asked for orders. Recieving them he summoned the research team. "We have orders to open a small portion of the R&D department and start creating what our investors have termed 'Beserker Rage' it is a chemical compound designed to make it's target reckless. If you will, shut out the reason part of the target's brain and make them fearless. I am assuming it can be composed of several combinations. The suggested compounds to make up the primary chemical components are the chemicals that make up an ABC scrambler. Any questions?"

=research team=

A hand shot up. Su'uko nodded the go ahead. "Isn't this outside the factory capabilities? I mean, we are all chemical and biological weapons engineers and scientists. Isn't this product more of a drug?"

=Su'uko=

"This product is infact a drug. I have been meaning to tell you all. But the reason that you've previously had VERY little work, is because there has been an accepted galaxy wide ban on the majority of the products that we have designed and manufactured in the past. The owner of this facility has been keeping you paid out of his own pocket as he realizes that it's not your fault that the galaxy has decided against you're area of expertise. He is hoping to turn this facility into a profitable drug making plant. This is why the product can be based off a previous weapon. He is working to try and gradually shift the factory to drugs this way you can get a feel for the business before committing to the much harder products of tomorrow."

=Research Team=

"Thank you Su'uko. That just about answers our primary concern. We'll see what we can do." The team turned and left making their way down the turbo lift to the R&D department which was clean and sterile and immediately started breaking down several ABC scramblers into their basic components. Each was tested and a few promising components were set aside for further testing while the majority of the components were piled into respective bins for use with possible future projects.

=Su'uko=

Watched the team leave and felt rather than saw Tal slip into his office.

=Tal=

"Is it true that the factory will be converting into a drug facility?" There was a hint of worry in her voice as she'd never been comfortable as a scientist making weapons although she wouldn't argue that she was well paid and that in the end the galaxy had sided with her personal views.

=Su'uko=

He sighed his tentacles writhing a little showing his displeasure at her sudden appearance. "Yes. It is true, however the drugs made here are more for the use of Avidus's military to enhance combat performance." He wasn't going to tell her that most of the future products would have a highly addictive nature and would most likely end up on the black market. "If you like, I can transfer you to the medical department to work on a fast acting bio foam prototype which when complete will be applied to gaping wounds and close them stopping hemmoraging until the patient can be treated at a hospital."

=Tal=

She smiled. "Thank you Su'uko! I accept your transfer." She hugged the Selkath and then turned and rushed out of the door excited to be working for a change on a project she believed to be a good thing for the first time since she was brought under the employ of Avidus Dubh.

=Su'uko=

Poured himself a drink of scotch and sipped on it kicking back. 'It looks like we're once again rolling.'

Re: Yellow District

=Research Team=

The few promising components are isolated from the first round of testing and then analyzed and synthesized in larger quantities to begin the second round of testing which will determine the effectiveness of different combinations of the chemicals to get the most effective. The first battery of tests reveals nothing while the second battery shows some promise.

=Tal=

The project that Tal is assigned to is one that is actually beneficial to the good of the universe from a medical standpoint and this makes her happy. She works on formulating a biodegradable and yet reliable and quick hardening compound which will turn from foam to a physically harder compound which will stop the bleeding and allow time for the wounded to be evacuated. The trick is that the chemical components will have to be unique so she begins by selecting various elements and configuring compounds which will create a foam.

Re: Yellow District

=Research Team=

The progress was astounding on the Berserker Rage drug that Avidus had ordered. The third battery of tests had revealed a combination which would probably work. They brought in a few animals to test this drug on. The first, a rather large rat was injected with the prototype drug and then placed immediately in a cage with a cat. The result was that the rat attacked the cat. Unfortunately, the surge of energy caused the heart of the rat to rupture and killed it. The team analyzed the results and then started to tinker with the make up isolating the responsible agent and filtering most of it out for the second round when the experiment was repeated. This time it was successful. The team removes the cat as the Rat is now extremely aggressive and has no concept of self preservation. High fives are in order and the results reported to Su'uko who makes ready to send word to Avidus.

=Tal=

The bio foam project has hit a snag as the foam agent is slightly toxic so Tal wrinkles her brows and continues working slowly coming up with a 'plan b' foam that has no toxicity to it. Eventually she succeeds. Looking at the clock she realizes that she's been up for over three days. She yawns and calls it a night. Or is it day? She can't remember as there are no windows in the basement of the compound. She makes her way to her bunk for a good night's sleep.

=Su'uko=

Hears word of the success of the second trial and decides that an experiment with a humanoid is in order. Okaying this test he looks at the clock and realizes that the planet Avidus is on it's late and Avidus will probably be sleeping he jots a memo down to contact Avidus tomorrow and then calls it a night also passing out on the cot he keeps in his office.
