*Chase didn't have very sharp ears. However, the wind carried "Acey"'s voice pretty far, and he heard everything she said. He chuckled silently, but when she came back, he didn't let her clue in he had overheard. He smiled, and stood up, taking her smooth uncalloused hand in his slightly larger roughened palm. He smiled at her, and bowed.*
"Shall we head off to my abode, milady?"
*His eyes sparkled, and he chuckled, out loud this time. He hoped he would enjoy this night. Perhaps... perhaps he would learn more about Acelynn. The blonde girl had captured his attention, and not many girls did that. In fact, none, within the last 6 years of his life. For some reason, he had been too busy sitting at his desk, and chasing after 'butterflies' within his writing sphere of consciousness. Up to this point, he had thought himself happy. He had loved writing. But then, today, he quit his job. He had walked away from all that was normal, and constant, within his life. He had taken a proverbial 'leap of faith'.
Chase took a deep breath. He gripped her hand slightly tighter, with a steady confidence that tonight, he would enjoy himself, because, this girl was amazing.
If he would have started to describe everything that she reminded him of, his words would have never compared to what he felt. There was something about her that was different, but Chase Salvator, not one for mincing words, could not put it into narration. He could not give it shape, nor form, within his mind. It was something... intangible. Something serene... something magical.
He shook his head clear of thoughts, trying to focus on solely Acelynn, but his eyes took a wish-wash faraway look to him as he thought of these things. Somehow, he knew Acelynn would notice.*
