Misty Lodge

*History currently unknown.*

*One of the few hotels that was around before the Raceway. It is also the must trusted place around. Well it helps to be the like only place no involved with gambling.*

A small shuttle landed and a as the ramp touched the ground, two men stepped out followed by Lieutenant Jesse Sunsoar who was shortly followed by Zuli Madoon, Joshua Kierra-Solo, Ander Tagira and Calo. A few words were exchanged between Sunsoar and the two men who had exited before them.

A few moments later, he led the company into the Misty Lodge.

*Joshua glanced around at the well appointed hotel as Sunosar led them into the main foyer. He was impressed with the size of the place as it hadn't been here the ;ast time he had visited the planet. He caught up with the young liuetenant as they aproached the reception desk*

When was this place built, I dont remember it from the last time I was here.

*He didn't mnention why he had been here last time. He was sure that even the Jedi didn't know...*

*Zuli followed Sunsoar into the Lodge. He walked slowly and calmly, arms folded behind his back in a relaxed posture, taking in all the sights and sounds of the surrounding area and finally the Lodge..

As they walked, Zuli looked back to his three companions and knodded with a smile..*

*Acknowledging Zuli's look, Joshua grinned back. It wasn't often they got to stayata high class establishment like this. He glanced around again at the expensive looking hangings and well appointed being travelling back and forth. With a slightly wistfull smile, he turned his attention back to Sunosar*

Ander followed Master Madoon and Solo into the establishment, his weapon hanging at his side, one hand on the grip, the other reaching for a cigara. He looked to Raan, hoping to gain permission to smoke inside. Calo simply stood about, looking around.
"Nice place." He muttered. Ander shook his head. "I've seen nicer."
Calo grinned, then slapped his father on the shoulder with his helmet. "Don't Sithspit me, buir, I remember the run-down hallways of the Praxeum..."
Ander's eyebrows lifted in mock surprise. "You're growing up to be pretty daring, kid." He teased, then looked forward to Zuli and the others, wondering how indeed this meeting was to proceed, and how he would be able to contribute.

The young man was only a metre or two away when [color=#0080FF:ffyeg50x]Zuli [/color:ffyeg50x]looked him in the eye. He cocked his head at [color=#0080FF:ffyeg50x]Calo[/color:ffyeg50x], raising an eyebrow..[/narration:ffyeg50x]

"You try keeping a 5000 year old Massassi temple looking like the Grand Royal Hotel, after how many attacks and conflicts we've been through.." [narration:ffyeg50x][color=#0080FF:ffyeg50x]Zuli [/color:ffyeg50x]stood, hands on hips as he spoke. He had somewhat of a defiant tone to his voice..

After giving it a moment for the words to sink in, [color=#0080FF:ffyeg50x]Zuli [/color:ffyeg50x]burst into laughter, patting the young man on the back..[/narration:ffyeg50x]

"It seems every time we've begun, some [color=#FF0000:ffyeg50x]Sith Lord [/color:ffyeg50x]or another decides to bombard us and we have to rebuild once again.. But with you and your father's team, I'm sure you can find a way to keep my plantpots on their shelves!" [narration:ffyeg50x][color=#0080FF:ffyeg50x]Zuli [/color:ffyeg50x]grinned and winked at [color=#0080FF:ffyeg50x]Ander [/color:ffyeg50x]before looking back to [color=#0080FF:ffyeg50x]Lt. Sunsoar[/color:ffyeg50x]..[/narration:ffyeg50x]

"So where are our rooms..?"

Sunsoar couldn't help but chuckle as he listened to the guests speak between themselves.... and here he'd been tense, trying to behave to the best of his abilities (lest the Senator hear something not-so-nice about him) just as to feel in the same league with them and all that for what? Here was a man slapping his father on the shoulder and using a Basic dialect that probably belonged to Mandalorians.

The Master Zuli seemed quiet for the most part, only saying a word or two when needed. Then there was the young man, Joshua, who seemed quiet curious and apparently had a lot of knowledge on the matters of Umgul.

"Well, sir." Sunsoar figured Joshua to be about three years his junior, "The Misty Lodge's construction was completed last year. The Senator, in collaboration with the people of Umgul and Kilo Family decided that a decent Inn was required for political guests."

He then turned to face Master Madoon as they reached the counter and a lady, knowing who they were, quickly handed the guests a card-key.

"There will be a young man who will lead you all to your own rooms. However, there's a guest hall south of here in case you wish to see who else has arrived. I believe some of our guests from Mandalore may be sharing a word or two there."

He bowed towards the guests one last time.

"I shall be taking my leave now, however, I'll be here in the morning to lead you all to City Hall for the meeting . . . Unless you still have questions for me, that is."

He looked between Joshua and Zuli mostly, seeing as the man named Ander and his son weren't all too curious about the current events.

Calo looked up at Zuli, grinning. "That's because I heard certain members of the council were reluctant to letting droids do all the work..." He winked at the experienced Jedi Master, "And we all know how lazy students can be."
Ander laughed quietly, biting down on the nub of his cigar as their host escorted through the building.
"You would know how lazy students can be, would you Calo?" Ander teased back.
Calo grumbled at this, then continued gazing about as they walked.
Catching the expression on Jade's face, Ander sobered up as much as he needed to to give the impression that he was indeed serious about the content of the meeting, and his hope to accomplish some good while on Umgul.

*Joshua smirked at Calo then returned his attention to Sunosar. He inclined his head slightly at him knowing a little about Umgul and looked around as Sunosar updated him on the building of the hotel. He was impressed. They seemed to have got around all the teething troubles of a establishment this size in one year. He came out of his thought to see Sunosar looking at him and Zuli expectantly*

Er... No. We're fine...

*He glanced at Zuli with eyebrows raised*

The huge [color=#00BFFF:1uza2tii]Jedi [/color:1uza2tii]was hungry, and the thought of some food was rather appealing. He had no doubt the Misty Lodge would be well able to cater for the group as far as food was concerned..[/narration:1uza2tii]

*Joshua nodded and shook hands with Sunosar. Recieving the Keycards, he glances at them briefly then tucks one into a pocket on his robe. Handing a card to Zuli, he smiles at the mention of food*

I hear you load and clear Master.... or I hear your belly!

*He chuckled a little then turned to Calo and Ander, handing a keycard to each in turn. He glanced around again, noting the way to the Guest Hall, and gestured to the illuminated sign above the corridor*

I guess we could find refreshments there and perhaps find out who else is here for the meeting?

His belly was rumbling, [color=#0080FF:3b7txzqp]Zuli [/color:3b7txzqp]didn't think it was that loud..

He hadn't eaten since before they left Osarian so maybe it was..[/narration:3b7txzqp]

Sunsoar smiled politely, "Actually, there was a three meal course that was about to be sent to each of your rooms, gentlemen. So food shouldn't be a problem . . ."

Chuckling, he gave them one last bow and left the men to do whatever they wanted. Perhaps they'd find a few good friends of theirs in the Guest Hall. It was time for Lieutenant Sunsoar to retire back to the Mansion as well.

*Zuli returned Sunsoar's bow before the man left. He turned back towards the others..*

"Shall we eat and reconvene here in an hour?" *As Zuli spoke, he adjusted his belt and cloak..

Looking between his three companions, he smiled, awaitng an answer. Maybe it would be better to check out who was there first, or would it be better to nourish their bodies..

The need for food was becoming a serious drive for the large Jedi. He grinned, subconsciously patting his stomach to calm it's rumbling..*

*Joshua hesitated for a moment then grinned at Zuli*

I'll be up in a few minutes. I just wanna check out the guest hall.

*Check it out and observe who was here. Half a recon, half an inspection, he sauntered off, spining the keycard through his fingers and headed for the guest hall for a look. Walking down the short corridor he stopped and removed his heavy cloak, handing it to a porter walking past. Underneath he wore the nondescript black flight suit, as was his preferred choice these days. He tucked his Saber hilt under a fold near his belt and leant in the massive doorway, peering across the room. Over a dozen different beings, some he recognised and a few he didn't, were holding court in the room. He took in the scattered tables and the long, busy bar at the far end. Glittering shandoliers were spaced at ten foot intervals along the tall, arched ceiling and decorative scones lined the walls casting a soft amber glow on those near. Nodding his head in approval, Joshua approached the bar and beckoned to a serving man. He thought he may as well make the most of this. The server aproached*

Can I have a large Whyrens Reserve my good man....

*He adopted a Corascanti, upper class accent and affected a slightly nasal lisp for effect*

Ander and Calo kept relatively quiet, Joshua had outlined to Ander on the way to Umgul and ulterior motive for traveling to the system with the Jedi; something having to do with Korriban. Ander kept his eyes open and his ears listening, waiting for any cue from Solo for information.
Calo sunk into a comfortable mood, enjoying himself easily and ordering liberally from the menu once the party was seated. His attitude was a facade, of course, put on in order to put off any watching or keeping interest in his father. The attention would be entirely on Calo now, rather than Ander.

*Joshua picked up the tumbler as the barman went to set it down and, with a flourish, swallowed the strong drink in one gulp. Effecting a slight wobble, he grinned insolently at the barman and gestured for another. Pulling out his comm, he checked the time displayed on it, Osarian local time, then returned it to his pocket. He peered around the room again, trying to spot the Mando'a representative. He threw a 'I wonder whats going on' look at Ander as the barman returned with his drink. He smiled and gave the man a vacant eyed nod and layed a few coins on the counter. The man started to protest but Joshua waved his hands as if he were agitated*

No no no. I inshisht. Itsha tip. Fffor you my good man.....

*With a twirl, he left the bar and slumped into a seat across from Ander and Calo, leaving a stunned looking barkeep behind...*

Ander shook his head slightly at Joshua's display, and Calo too played along, laughing and pointing at the kid. "Good show, mate." He cracked, rapping his mug on the table for another round. Ander shot Joshua a subtle "I'm not sure what's up, but we need to get moving" sort of look.
