Re: Open Terrain

It was a custom Czerka Outland rifle, a slug thrower. Never saw the need for all that heavy armor honestly, way too slow. I have a durasteel chest plate and helmet put up in my room, but i try not to use them unless i know im going to need them.

*John remembered his rifle fondly. It was the first weapon he had ever owned, and he frowned for a moment when thinking about its loss. Then he remembered something unrelated from a moment before. The mandalorians were killing off Force sensitives? He wasn't quite sure about it, but something told him that's why she was on Rhen var. Setting his bowl down, he got up and looked out the view port again. The wind and snow were starting to die down, and soon he would loose his fabulous company.*

Well Alena, the storm is dieing down. You want to start heading for the harbor?

Re: Open Terrain

*The agents had watched over the landing site for some time now, monitoring the ship for any activity that would jeopardize the radar station in the valley behind them. But after waiting on the snowy hill for two hours with nothing to report, the head agents back at the station call them back. After packing up their weapons and surveillance equipment, the two men crawl back out of view before moving back to their speeder bikes. In the cover of the storm, the men shoot out back to the station.

Back at the station, the two snipers arrived just in time. All the supplies had been loaded into the station, from new equipment to food supplies. A new shift of personnel had been brought in to replace the original operatives of the radar facility. The two agents that had gone out on the speeder bikes parked their vehicles in the garage and proceeded to the ship. Once everybody was on board the transport powered up and took off. Making sure to take a route that lead away from the investigate freighter, the ship got out to a deserted part of the world and took off towards the stars.*

Re: Open Terrain

*I listen to him talk about his rifle and I find it almost amusing how he talks as if it was a woman he was romanticizing. I causes me to giggle almost girl like before smiling and patting John on the knee. I wonder if he is a good crack shot with any rifle or whether just with his own one. I almost wish I could get him another one but it is not likely any time soon. Instead I shall get him to get me to the harbour.*
You speak of this rifle with a lot of fondness, make me almost wish I could of met it. But yes, I think getting me to the Harbour is a good idea. My brother might send out a search party if I don't hurry back soon.

*With the new personnel and supplies in place, the station would continue to run as smoothly as it had before. Perhaps even smoother. The technicians actually had training as to how the facility was supposed to run, now that the first shift to be on the station had figured everything out. They knew where all the access hatches to certain areas that seemed to undergo the most trouble. Not to mention the armed personnel had basic training in electronics, so that those not on post could relieve some stress for the busy technicians.*

Re: Open Terrain

*Things continued as usual. Information filtered in and out, watched closely by those on duty. As an essential post to keep information from being traced back to their HQ despite it's boring location, the crew had to keep their wits about themselves. Patrols out in the harsh weather were carried out regularly while the techs watched the feed and the skies.*
