On the other hand...if player is able to get close enough and kill one before it attacks, the power coursing through The battries will be able to be converted into power for electrical devices...but use it wisely for it will not last. Can be heard by his sounds of electrical crackling and moans of pain.
THE HAGGARD: Rare to run into, these are victums of a construction accident, super sized due to the infection and have all sorts of construction equipment and suppies protruding from their backs. Very slow moving though they may be their throwing strength is phenominal, able to tear shards of wreckage from their backs and impale survivors if in range. Best way to take one out is to let it pull all items form their backs thus causing them to spill out and die on their own...occasionally Haggard will only have one large piece of shrapnel on it but will not remove it...remove it yourself or riddle it with bullets and it will fall, but be wary its gonna take alot of shots to take it down. Easily reconized mearly by their size...kinda hard not to see it.
BIO HAZARDS: one of the more frequent special infected, were killed by radiation poisioning and now glow with so much inside them...usually let out a flare of rads as an attack or fights hand to hand...take out at long range with rifle or other gun as they can be fast if you are seen. Acknowleged by their glow more than anything
THE SCREAMER: Final Special infected, simply a total mental nut job that escaped from an asylum...still wrapped in straight jacket often is found stumbling around. If he sees survivors he will not approach but instead run away then let out an ear piercing scream that deafens players close enough and attract a hoard of common infected to his location and the survivors! Take out as fast as you can when seen. Listen for cackling laughter to find him and shoot his throat to take him down.[/quote:3bm32bkd]
