Re: Kohlma

*The troopers swung at the two women but only found air as the shorter of the two seemed to dance through their ranks and effectively corner herself against the far wall. The two troopers furthest away cracked off two shots each. The two fired towards the shorter, a peeky looking caucasion with an unruly mass of brown hair, managed somehow to dodge past both energy bolts though the other wasn't so quick but didn't need to be. The shot slapped off her armour, one hitting the shoulder one the thigh, and deflected away leaving only a scorch mark in the paint job. The fist shot flicked away to hit one of the troopers trying to decapitate her with a vibrosword, piercing his throat and leaving him gurgling his life away on the floor.
The shots had caused the second female to spin around from the impact though she used that opening to come back with a viscious looking sword in her hand and lash out at the nearest trooper who barely managed to duck the blow and regroup.
Now three troopers faced the woman in the Mandalorian armour while the last soldier and the sergeant moved two block off the other...*

*The women reacted with skill he was forced to admit as he stopped and tapped the saber hilt against his leg. Already one had avoided the close combat and had found herself some space closer to his own position. The seconds armour was proving to be more than it seemed too. The blaster bolts that struck her seemed to have no effect other than their kinnetic energy and already one of his men was down clutching his thoat. Her return swing with her own weapon was telling in its savagry and Silas knew they were dealing with skilled opponets.
The Sith was about to resume his pacing when he saw the shorted of the two draw a hilt from under her armour and his eyes narrowed as the blade sprang to life.*

=Silas=
"No! She's mine!"

*The two troopers glanced fearfully at their Lord as he stalked forwards, saber hilt held negligently in his right hand. With a gesture he sent the two men scurrying off to join those surrounding the Mandalorian as he stopped a few paces away from the saber weilding human.*

=Silas=
"Greetings, Jedi. I bring the word of my Master, Lord Bajos. You are to stand down and prepare for transportation to orbit. You will not be harmed and will be treated with respect until you are before my Master who is now, incedently, yours too."

*He flashed a grin that in no way reached his eyes.*

Re: Kohlma

Sid sighed, wishing she had a cigarette... and a drink.. and possibly a lightsaber. She hated fighting men. They were so grumpy when she fought back.

Seriously, Kir... I am not going to shoot you, I am going to shoot the-...

Her sentence was interrupted by a clang and a bullet ricocheting off of her armor leaving a mark.

For Force sake, I JUST POLISHED THIS!!!

The soldier that shot crumpled to the floor as the bullet from her thigh ripped through him. Blood started to seep from his body. The other soldiers paused for a milisecond, giving Sid the time to re-position herself more favorably. She narrowed her eyes at the three soldiers in front of her. She held her blaster steady, aimed at them.

You obviously don't know what you are up against. You don't scare me... I spend my days with one man that has more crazy than the three of you combined, and I survive that just fine.

She steadied her stance and looked at each of them.

I figure you have two choices.. you let us go, or you die. It's completely up to you.

Sid looked down at the soldier on the floor, the pool of blood creeping around him, like a dark aura shrouding him.

He didn't make the correct choice, and look what happened.. and I didn't even TRY with him.

Re: Kohlma

*A headstrong girl, Kirith's mouth, even at its thirty years of age, did not always make the wisest of choices. Or even say things she agreed with. Especially when it came to conversing with a potential Sith Lord. Kirith often suspected she just lacked the buffer most people seemed to have between their brain and their mouth, but she preferred to tell herself that it was really because she was far more honest and true to herself than other people were.*

*Even with this confusing business of something speaking to her in the back of her head that didn't exactly feel. . . good. Kirith was almost inclined to say 'evil,' but she wasn't sure it was exactly that, and that was a bit of a 'too absolute' concept for her taste.*

*Still, this business with the Sith thinking she was a Jedi managed to annoy her, even with the other (and probably more pressing and urgent things) going on in the room, and so Kirith heaved a sigh and rolled her eyes at the impressive Sith Person.*

"Good for your Lord Bajos, but you should probably tell your 'Lord' that his pion is an idiot. Because I ain't no Jedi. Seriously, I would have thought you would have learned better than that, but you Sith do tend to deal with moral absolutes, so we shall forgive your stupidity."

*She stood there, staring at the Sith Lord, feeling the thrum of the lightsaber within her hand, relishing the power it held, and smiled a little. It wasn't a normal Kirith smile, something darker was hinted there, and for a moment Kirith felt the anticipation of battle, something she had never quite felt before.*

*She wondered why she hadn't. It certainly was an intriguing feeling, and not entirely unwanted, even with a part of her was screaming in the back of her head to act sensibly because this Sith Lord could quite possibly kill her, because what did she know of lightsaber fighting?*

"And besides,"*she added, moving towards Silas, her ignited lightsaber held at the ready.* "What Sith Lord wants a lap dog who sits there and does what some stranger with a brightly colored stick tells her to do? Quite pathetic really. We expected better."

*I'm sooooooooo going to die, thought Kirith thought to herself, desperately wondering how to turn off her mouth (and for that part, convince her body to move AWAY from the Sith) before the situation got any worse.*

Re: Kohlma

*The three troopers hesitated as they saw their comrade go down with his life dribbling away in a crimson stream until the other two joined them. The sergeant barked out a few orders over thier closed comm and they spread out, two advancing direct while the other three fanned out and attempted to flank the Mandalorian female in the close quarters of the corridor. Hefting vibroswords expertly they closed...

The first of the two facing her moved to strike high, a blow at her head designed to distract from the true danger of the second trooper striking low at her mid-section. Neither man had fought against a Beskar-armoured individual before and didn't know that their weapons were likely to be ineffective against the super-tough alloy.

Of the three flanking her, two made darting moved to get behind her while she was distracted, attempting to bypass her weapon and create a cross-fire for their swords. She would be hard pressed to defend herself with opponents on all sides.
The sergeant, in the meantime, hung back and readied himself to exploit any opening...*

*Silas blinked. It was the slow deliberate blink of one who was taken aback. Not by the refusal or the scorn. he had expected those from a victim. Fear often lead to bluster. No. This was something else. There was no fear within this human girl. Trepidation yes. she knew she could die but chose to die a warrior. still, even that wasn't enough to startle the experienced Sith warrior. No. It was the darkness emanating from her. Not the whole. The whole seemed suffused with, not goodness but certainly not the dark. It was as if a part of her, a caged beast inside her soul, was seeping this darkness into the Force. A cancer contaminating the basic goodness of her aura.

Delicious.

His face creased into a scowl at her next words but he soon transformed it into a beatific smile as he brought his own blade up, igniting one end and raising it so it mirrored hers in length and posture.*

=Silas=
"There is a darkness to you, child. Perhaps you could impress my Master enough to become his, what was it... 'Lap-dog' instead of the rug upon which he'd wipe his feet?"

*though Silas doubted he was much older than this woman he was sure that the label would annoy her and, possible, lead her to a rash action. He beckoned with the his saber, dipping and rising the crimson blade in an invite for her to attack.*

=Silas=
"Come then. Lets see if you can use that toy as well as you use that mouth."

Re: Kohlma

Sid took a long deep breath and blew it out of her mouth. She pulled her blaster up and started to back up against the wall as the men spread out. Five of them. She quickly did the odds in her head. They didn├óÔé¼Ôäót come out in her favor. She was a warrior though. She lived as a warrior and she would die as one, too.

She opened a litany of blaster bolts on the five men, in the hopes of narrowing the odds against her. Light filled the corridor with the fireworks Sidara was raining down among her enemies. Her blaster bolts were cut short as she saw the blow coming from above and raised her empty hand, using her gauntlet to block him. She spun kicking out aiming for the second and consequently the third attacker. She needed to make some space and back them off of her. They were too close and she didn├óÔé¼Ôäót like the proximity.

Kirith? Girl, you ok? Sidara yelled as she moved. She knew if she let anything happen to her, Corr wouldn├óÔé¼Ôäót be happy. Gods help them.

"Well then ,"*said Kirith with a sweeping bow gesture, indicating for him to make a gesture.* "Age before beauty. Show this 'child' how things are done."

*She tilted her head, considering the Sith Lord for a moment*. "Then again, you may be all talk, you who sulks in the corner waiting for your men to do your fighting for you until you're sure there is a child you can easily intimidate with platitudes to your Master."

*She was purposefully trying to provoke him. Why that was a good idea was beyond her, he mouth seemed to be guided by something that wasn't entirely her. But why would she want to provoke a Sith Lord into becoming angry and attacking her?*

<< Because this one is still young. He has a Master that he bows to, which means he has not learned everything yet. Such minds are easy to manipulate. >>

*... Well that's just creepy, thought Kirith.*

*Hearing Sid,'s call, Krith's voice responded,* "We are fine. This confrontation has been mostly talk. We grow bored."

Re: Kohlma

*Silas inclined his head slightly, indicated the slight was received and understood. He couldn't help but feel a grudging admiration for the girl. She stood her ground defiantly and would be an asset to his Masters cause. Alas, he thought absently, the very qualities that would make her an asset were likely to doom her here. Such a one as her would never yield without becoming too damaged during the course of her 'persuasion' to be any use to them.

He slid a foot forwards. Slowly. Casually. The darkness eminating from her seemed to become more defined and the wily Sith noticed the use of the plural 'we' as the girl addressed her comrade.

Interesting.

He had encountered split personalities before as well as voice-hearing individuals. The most recent being Lord erebus who seemed on the brink of madness with his cerebral visitations. This girl seemed in control but control could be fleeting at best and unstable in the extreme.

Perhaps she would crack. Perhaps not. It was time to find out.*

=Silas=
"Very well, my feisty friend. we shall see who do the fighting around here..."

*Before he'd finished the sentence he was moving. Putting his weight forwards on his extended foot he lunged forward, twitching his saber blade towards her only to pull back suddenly making the move a feint. arresting his movement he spun on the extended foot while raising his other leg in a hook kick designed to make her dodge left or, if the kick connected, knock her to the left. Silas' right. As he spun he hit the trigger of his second blade which shot into life where his opponent would be if moving to her left.*

*The flurry of blaster bolts, as close as they were, lacked the accuracy to trouble the troopers though they did send them scurrying out of the way. Two collided into each other and went down in a tangle while the sergeant backed off a pace.

The woman's kick caught the first trooper right on the temple, beskar capped toe flicking off his head with a dry crack. The man dropped like a stone. The second managed to avoid the kick by leaping back only to slam himself into the wall. Momentarily stunned he staggered forwards, raising his sword by instinct more than anything.

The man who had struck out at the Mandalorian blicking as his vibrosword flicked off her armoured wrist without any noticeable effect. He too avoided the kick by dropping below it. One hand splayed on the floor while the other held his thrumming sword he lashed a kick out at her standing leg hoping to bring her to the ground...*

Re: Kohlma

*Meanwhile, two levels below...*

*Corr crashed through the rust-covered blast door and slid along the debris-littered floor, sparks skittering from his armoured back. A low groan, more like a deep throated animal growl, like the purr of a giant cat, escaped his lips. The stomping sound of metal feet striking the durasteel floor and the heavy whine of hydraulics heralded the arrival of Corr's tormentor as the prone Mandalorian raised himself on shaky hands and trembling knee's.

A massive clawed hand gripped the edge of the door frame, spiked digits digging into the metal and making a screeching counterpoint to the whine of its servomotors. Following the demonic claw were two crimson eyes burning from a skull-like visage decked out in a matt black finish. Steam hissed out around the head framing it in a halo of vapour and cables dangled from the ghastly head like dreadlocks. It was roughly man-shapes and resembled some of the earlier YV droids, back from when they had been designed to enrage the Yuuzhan Vong. It stood over seven feet tall and bulked almost twice that of the armoured Corr. Luckily for the Mando Warrior it wasn't armed with blasters or other projectile weapons. Its arms ended in the four-fingers claws that had the ability to crush metal and rend limbs which, Corr thought ruefully, were plenty enough to end his career.

He had awoken this playful monster when he had tried to bypass his way through a service hatch leading to what he had hoped was a utility stairway. The countdown from the detonators were still ticking down from their hour long march and had reached forty-three minutes twenty seven seconds. Forty-three minutes until booshki.*

"I don't have time for this..."

*His voice was audible, coming out through the gaping wound in his buy'ce that was the result of the violent ministrations from the robotic monstrosity that was even now stepping over the tattered remains of the blast door. More hydraulics whining and steam venting it marched into the corridor at a fast clip, talons flexing and un-flexing in anticipation of rending the flesh from the weak bag of meat before it.

Corr's right hand scrambled for his blaster at his right hip only to find it missing, lost somewhere in the impact with the door. By the time he'd begun to reach his left hand for the pistol on that side it was too late.

With a low snarl emitting from an obviously damaged vocaster unit the demonic droid scoop down with its right appendage and gripped Corr by his shoulder pauldron. The screech of tortured metal was painful to hear as it crushed even the superhard beskar as if it was flimsi. Corr let out a strangled howl as the edges of it bit into his shoulder, grinding against bone and causing blood to run down the length of his arm to pool within his glove. His eyes narrowed as the droid dragged him upright and drew its other arm back, dull metal claws splayed wide. as it thrust its hand towards Corr's visored face the big Mando raised his own arms and caught the descending limb in his own vice-like grip. His own powered hands, crushgaunts whining with effort, forced the claws away from him and twisted it at an unnatural angle until servomotors whined in protest.

The droid tilted its head as if surprised at the strength of the man it was holding then, with an almost contemptuous grunt, flung him aside. Corr wasn't going to be easily discarded however. He clung on tenaciously to the things left arm and, with a loud tear, the limb came free of the things barrel-like torso.

Corr skidded back through the doorway he had previously been thrown through still clutching the severed arm in his hands. The nightmare droid seemed to take stock for a moment before turning anf stalking back towards the Mandalorian, ignoring the missing arm, intent of ended the lifeform that seemed intent on thwarting it.

Corr's chrono ticked down to forty minutes...*

Re: Kohlma

One down, four to go.

Sid watched as the man she had kicked fell in a heap to the floor. Taking advantage of the other's misfortune meeting the wall, she stepped forward, punching her beskad forward toward his chest as he rebounded off the wall, and buried it in his stomach, using her gauntled hand to push his sword away. Sid pulled her hand back and stabbed forward once more, for good measure, and stepping forward on the hand of the attacker that lay splayed on the floor. She dug her heel into it as hard as she could. Her adrenaline was coursing through her body and all she wanted was to hurt the men that were trying to hurt her.

We need to get out of here Kirith! Where the hell is Corr?? He better have some great plan to make it up to me after this nonsense!

Re: Kohlma

*As Silas began to move, Kirith found her awareness narrowing. The fighting female Mandalorian warrior beside her, momentarily forgotten, deemed an unnecessary distraction. A feeling of calm settled over her, and even though perhaps only a second went by as the Sith Lord in front of her forward, it felt like an eternity. Her eyes looked him over, some part of her cataloging every part of his body in an instant. Then time began again.

She wasn't sure how, but she saw through the feint before it had fully happened. She separated her right hand from the hilt and reached out to her side, just as the hook kick was coming at her. Before he had time to connect with her, her hand was there at his ankle, palm forward, fingers wrapping around his leg to hold him there and stop his momentum.

Her blade came forward in a left-handed grip, turning to her right so that the length of its blade was under his as his second blade activated. She twisted her left wrist counter-clockwise, bringing her blade up from under his in an effort to push up and away, in an arc that would eventually bring the two blades back down off to the combatant's sides. And, in the same motion, she let go of his ankle and swung her fist forward, aiming for his crotch, which was exposed now from having his leg up in the air.*

Re: Kohlma

*Silas was surprised that his kick had been checked and held by the seemingly weak female. She was only small but possessed a strength that had momentarily surprised the Sith Acolyte. His blade crackled on hers as if was swept away wide-right, both glowing energy swords arcing around to crash into the floor. His eyes widened as she released his ankle to send her balled fist crashing towards his groin. Hoping back on his standing foot he managed to avoid the strike, taking the punch on the hip instead and skipping back a further pace when both feet had regained their vertical base.

His eyes narrowed in hatred as he met the strangely searching gaze of the short human female, twirling both saber blades around in separate infinity arcs. The Force gathered in him, running along his nerves like an electrical charge, lending him strength and haste. With a sudden flurry he launched himself forward, the force lending wings to his assault, saber flashing madly as he hacked and slashed.

His right-hand saber came across in a lateral slash from his right to left, seeking to halve her at the waist, before it would later direction and cut down towards her thigh. His left-hand saber looped up and around to hack down on her right shoulder. His feet shuffled forward, right foot forward, left back and out, a classic walking stance.*

*Meanwhile the man who had kicked out at the armoured woman howled in pain as her heavily armoured foot crush his hand beneath it, twisting so it mangled the appendage nastily. He tore the hand free, doing more damage in the process, and fell back onto his choobies, dropping his vibrosword and clutching the tattered remains of his hand to his chest.

The sergeant took the momentary distraction of the woman calling out to her ally to fire thee more shots, aiming tow at the chest and the last at the visored helmet in an attempt to find a soft-point in the formidable armour.

The last two were just sorting themselves out and regaining their feet as the Mandalorian woman loomed close to them, nearly in striking range. The closest raised his sword while the other raised his blaster...*

Re: Kohlma

*Corr rolled to his feet and flung the severed arm as the monsterous machine that stalked towards him, photoceptors glowing red with malicious intent. The limb careened of the things skull-like head with a dull metal clang, causing the horror droid to pause in its tracks for a moment, head tilting to the side as it gazed at the armoured man as if saying "are you serious?". The wily Mandalorian wasted not time in tearing his remaining blaster pistol from its holster with his left hand, flipping it over to his right, and drawing a bead on his foe, stepping back with his left foot to adopt a firing stance.

He pulled the trigger one, two three times then started to back away. The bolts cracked into the droids heavy armour, flicking off but leaving pits in the laminanium plating. Corr continued to retreat as the droid resumed its stalking advance, its one remaining clawed hand coming up to block the shots from hitting its face. The Mandalorians shots became more frantic as the thing drew neared, his concentrated fire burning through the heavy armour to reveal the robotic mechanisms beneath. Unfortunately these too were reinforced and, just when Corr though he had a shot at some of the delicate circuitry, the blaster clicked to empty.*

"Osik!"

*He uttered the curse as the droid lifted its right foot in mid-step, and smashed it into Corr's armoured chest to send him flying backwards and through another partially open door. He crashed down on something hard and unyielding, gasping as he struggled to regain the breath that had be smashed out of him by the droids kick. The armour of his chest was dented and pitted, his right shoulder guard half crushed, and his helmet had been torn open around the chin and right jawline. Blood ran freely down his right arm which weakly held on to the depleted blaster pistol. His head rolled on his shoulders, vision swimming in and out. It swam back in and Corr looked up at the ceiling which seemed to rise then turn, rise then turn. Rising up higher and higher. He frowned then tilted his head backwards. Stairs! The whine of servo's heralded the return of the freaked-out droid and Corr hauled himself to his feet, unwilling to go another round with that kriff lunatic machine.

Turning with a grunt of pain Corr made his way up the stairs, glancing at his chrono.

Thirty-five minutes...*

Re: Kohlma

Sidara stepped toward the two men. She saw as his sword was ignited and his friend was fumbling for his blaster. She was pissed off and tired and wanted to end this. She reached down for her own blaster and felt a blaster shot bounce off of her buy'ce... good thing she was wearing it this time... and then another off of her chest. She stumbled back a few steps and pulled out her blaster.

That's it, you asshats. I am NOT in the mood for this!

She opened fire in the direction that the blaster shot came from, as well as the two that were aiming to attack her, hoping to avoid any more damage done to her beskar, or worse yet, losing her life. That was the last thing she was willing to let happen.
