As a GRPC Councilor, I will be here watching this invasion RP take place and ensuring all rules are followed as per the defending and attacking parties' requests.

As of right now it has been brought to my attention that Windu has illegally landed on the surface of Algara II. According to the Natural Laws when attacking, one must wait for a reply from the defender before landing. Windu either ignored or overlooked this rule and as such his landing is declared illegal due to rushing, so the requested course of action would be that all landed attacking troops are voided until Ronan has had time to respond to them heading towards the planet in orbit.

Ronan -- your complaint was about the orbital bombardment and what Windu did is, in fact, legal because it is a surgical strike and not what one would consider complete annihilation of the planet or changing it's canon appearance. Also, please keep in mind Ronan that your comms are jammed, so calling in any ally fleets would be considered illegal.

Correct. The orbital bombardment is legal as long as it remains surgical.

ok my bad about the landing the fleets had not be move in a month so i thought it wasn't there

Orbital bombardment may be a misnomer in this case. It's an orbital strike, but since you're only hitting a small area, calling it a bombardment might be a bad idea because it makes it sound more widespread.

But yes in this case, Kel is correct. It would be more logical to call it an orbital strike or surgical bombardment.

So that leaves me still stuck on the ground, and you stuck in space waiting to do whatever.

how is he to stop me from landing he has no fleet in space ....and his communication is blocked ...wouldn't that mean the planet is wide open for invasions ...he has no why to defend him self space wise .....voiding all the troop post dosent change any thing ...it just means we repost all the things we all ready posted

Well, the point was you didn't wait for a response from him first before landing. Even if he has no fleet you still need to wait for him to post something of that sort which will allow you to then land your troops.

can i land now....i plan to have my troops storm the city after the bombardment....from the look of your post you pulled all you men with in the city so i want to catch them as they retreat

Have spoken to Malice via PM (Nods head at Malice) and am assuming control of Algara II. His abandonment claim was stated over a year ago so see no problem with moving right along.

Just stating it here to make it official.
